  • Hey everyone, today I want to share with you the best way to clean your patio. A clean patio is not only aesthetically pleasing but also makes it more comfortable and enjoyable to spend time outdoors with friends and family. So, let's dive right in!
First, let's talk about the materials of your patio. If your patio is made of concrete, gravel, or stone, you can use a pressure washer with a cleaning solution designed for these surfaces. Make sure to rinse the surface with a hose and dry it thoroughly afterwards. For more delicate materials like wood, you can use a mild detergent and a soft cloth to clean it.
Now, let's discuss the cleaning process. Start by removing any loose debris, such as leaves or debris, from the patio surface. Use a brush or a shovel to dig up any small clumps of dirt. After this, it's time to sweep the patio. Use a large-bristle brush to remove any stuck-on dirt, and make sure to get along the edges and corners of the patio.
Next, it's a good idea to treat your patio with a patio cleaner. Apply the cleaner to the surface using a brush or cloth, and let it sit for a few minutes to work its magic. After the cleaner has dried, apply a protectant to keep the surface looking fresh and new.
Finally, once your patio is clean and protected, it's time to enjoy it! Gather your friends and family, and make use of your new clean space outside. Happy outdoor cleaning!

I did a test patch on my drive one with just neat bleach / one with just white vinegar and one patch with a combination of bleach and white vinegar did it with cold water and a very stiff bruch then rinsed. The combination was the better of the two but will try it with the boiling water as it may speed it up a bit - thanks for the tip

Just a pressure washer should be enough really and yes definitely use boiling water it’s better apparently and good luck trying it 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Have you tried a product called 'Wet and Forget'? You dilute it, spray it on and leave it and over a few months it starts to work. However, it keeps working for a long time afterwards. Alternatively, you can clean with a power washer and then spray 'Wet and Forget' which keeps it looking clean for ages. It also gets rid of the black spot lichen, which is usually very hard to get rid of. My driveway and stone window sills look completely different to my neighbours. It would be a good test if you could spray a sample area and just leave it. I think that you'll be impressed.

There a lot of different products out there some might be ok but the pressure washer never fails and maybe I’ll try some other methods soon for other tests 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Not used patio magic in the same context as your test here, however we had a Bradstone Indian sandstone patio in Modac at a previous property and after jetwashing away the worst of the crud the Patio Magic removed all but the most stubborn of lichen marks. Used twice a year it really did keep the white and black spots away and required minimal cleaning so I guess it depends how it is incorporated into the cleaning process and the type of stone. I understand it works well on sandstone as it is very porous. Appears to work less well on limestone. Just my experience. Keep it Tidy 💪🏻 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

That’s how I would normally use a product like that blast away the shit first then add it but apparently they say the opposite it’s a waste daft idea from the start but hey Ho have me something to do 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I have vast areas to do. Pressure wasyhing for sure is best but I have masses of black spot which will not6 even if you concentrate for ages with the washer on the one spot be removed. So this year I have been experimenting with a chlorine product - I did part neat and part 50%. The neat goes most of it but I have only done a small areas of my huge patio areas which took 4 big containers' worth so not yet decided whether to spend the money to do much more. For people using a chlorine product do not let it go on skin or on plants - it really does work very well. I wet the patio first and then leave it on for a few hours as no rush and then wash it off. So far I have just used it in a watering can.

Monty Miracle worked on my monoblocks. Spray on leave 10mins and hose off. No scrubbing required, but on some bad areas I sprayed twice. Make sure you spray it on so the monblocks are wet. -Pressure washing is a dirty job and time consuming, tradesman quoting ,£2-300 for my 125 sq m drive.

Please let us know on here when you're ready to take on jobs yourself as I would be grateful if you would come and check out the work I have here that needs doing. I think you would get loads of work out of people seeing the quality of the workmanship as most of the drive's and garden work around here is pretty crap to be honest. And being on the main road gets a lot of people passing by and plenty of cars throughout the day.

It's Sam who has commented on your videos before (the guy with the jokey RUclips name 😂). Just thought I'd comment on your latest video using our new RUclips landscaping as we have subscribed to your channel. Another cracking video buddy. We used the patio spot remover when we first started out and it wasn't the best although got rid of a lot of the stains so your latest video has been very useful thank you. Keep an eye out for any videos we put up as we will be doing more patio installations and other new garden installations this year as well as garden clearances. Would love for you to subscribe and I'll try to film our work and post it on here. I've also subscribed to your friends' Justin and Matty's channels as well. Take care! 😊
