My favorite part of these videos is seeing how much dirt and mud and moss builds ups. Like when you shovel all the mud into buckets at the end that my favorite part. It’s so satisfying to think that over the years all that has slowly built up. I was a merchant mariner for a few years and fell in love with pressure washing jobs lmfao. That brick work is beautiful ❤ thank you for bringing it’s original beauty back and of course for making this clean and safe for the people living there ❤
This outdoor area has too much shade, and that's most likely why the moss grows uncontrollably. Getting more sunshine is the best remedy! GREAT VIDEO 👍😁
SUPER SATISFYING to watch all of the green stuff disappear! (I would have used a squeegee at the 6:00 mark to get rid of the buildup of mud and gunk though, seemed like a waste of water and effort?)
Just read an article about how bamboo can be very invasive, sending out long side roots that go through anything, people are finding the plants growing inside their houses. Be sure to only buy the clump-forming kind.
Wonderful work. I have a huge area and I remember the first year I bought my pressure easher. Before I started I spent a few sessions with a trowel removing all the moss (a waste of time as the pressure washer just gets rid of it. It took me 8 separate days/sessions for 1 - 3 hours this Spring already do to all the areas but such a difference. It is very rewarding work.
I enjoy watching these videos. I'm not at all a 'Tree Hugger', but to ask the question costs nothing. Moss is a living thing. Do we have the right to destroy the moss for cosmetic reasons?
When I lived in the forest I had a lovely, partly moss covered brick walkway. Moss requires dampness, and causes surfaces to become dangerously slippery. As beautiful as it was I had to remove it for safety reasons. It grew back each year, and moss and other forest floor growth crept onto the sides of my driveway too. Annual maintenance is required to live in the forest safely. No worries, nature is stronger than us. If I could not clear it my pathway, driveway and patio would have become overgrown in a couple seasons.
@@jaomwtoptd Its very sliperry if you want to keep it in your pathways. Can be dangerous to little kids and elderly people :( But it is a beautiful thing to find in rocks and trunks when you are walking in the woods
There are times when moss can be nice looking, but this is definitely not one of those times. It’s patchy and has allowed algae and lichen to form with it, looking like the blocks are somehow growing mold! Much better to have it clean, well done.
Yeah it does,I use to walk on em. At my family members place. An never had an issue or problem. With it I would walk to the end and back. Not once did I slip cuz of the moss. Or something like that. Besides giving my family member a scare a few times. But in the end I was very careful about what I was doing. Held up to my weight too.
