Moonstone Island is a creature-collecting life-sim set in an open world with 100+ islands to explore. Make friends, brew potions, collect Spirits, and test your strength in card-based encounters to complete your Alchemy training! It's Like Stardew Valley Mixed With Pokémon, Zelda & Animal Crossing. It's a super fun Faming game like Stardew or Coral Island, so I decided I needed to do a challenge run for it!

One of my favorite things about seanie is that he takes everything villagers say personally like they have personal vendettas against him.

@@megamike15i think the funniest part is missingno being a direct reference TO pokemon, and making it the final boss… and then it seems like Seanie didn’t even get the reference
I love that Seanie found a way to min max the game and be super powerful and instead of abusing said power he told the dev to nerf it and then restarted 😂
I think "draw one card for every spirit you have" would be more balanced. It would make going infinite much more difficult, but would still give a lot of value if you have a full team.
You showed Rowan and I was like 'aww he's cute' and then you showed the similarity and I immediately went 'oh no'

36:36, 99.9% sure Ofelia is a Filipina bc she says “Ingat!” and that makes me SO happy.
Ingat basically means “Stay safe” or “Be careful” in Tagalog 🥰
"Ingat" in Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Indonesia also means "remember".
She is Filipina. Shen even says "kumusta ka"( how are you?), "Sige"(sure) and "ingat"

One of the BIGGEST savers I was able to learn after only a few hours of playing (And making one) was that you can collect all the chests you run into!! Even the boss loot ones!

I feel like they should’ve put in something about shinies, like you can catch them if they’re under your level or you can catch but not use them until you level up but maybe an NPC can “take care” of them until you’re anle

@@Hexmonkey lol sorry if that came off as threatening, I just meant they’d have an inventory of them. Kinda like a pokemon daycare
why not just make the mob a level 1 when you capture? that way you can just level him on your own. that would also fix the terrible auto deck build when getting higher level ones as well.
the game is filled with so many weird designs.
i was really interested in getting it. but this video pretty much made me take a step back and lose all interest.

Seanie I really want to thank you for constantly testing every game and letting the dev know what needs to be changed. You turned this decent farming/dungeon crawling game into a much more balanced experience. Seriously, thank you for play testing each game. It has really helped so much, on both the developer and player viewpoints.

Feed -3 vital purple flower to bosses or high HP spirits (I forgot the name but u get it on spring on the dark islands) it will significantly drop their HP. Unfortunately you can only do it once. So I always use that one since it’s the highest -vitality

Yo this game looks so neat! It looks like a mishmash of a bunch of different games, obviously stardew and Pokémon, but also Prodigy, LOZ, and something else but I can’t remember.
Might pick it up actually. Its the only stardew-esque game that has really interested me so far!

I remember watching another RUclipsr do a 100 days series of Graveyard Keeper, I watched the entire thing and then played the game. With yours I started it, said this looks fun and started playing it. I will play this game this time and then watch video. I have placed this link in my calendar for a few weeks time and will watch it then. The game is super fun though!!!

Did anybody notice the eye looking pool on the purple island has the ghost at the top of the tower from lavender town in it? You can catch glimpses of its' face glitching
Are you able to time stamp when you saw that?
@@PracticallyaPersonSure, at 25:05 you can see a part of its face near the bottom center of the eye shaped hole. And in other shots the face appears sometimes on the top left or bottom right but the face is cut off by the shape.

OH MY GOD. I did NOT expect you to mention Ty The Tasmanian Tiger. Such an underrated series ☺
Really nice game! I especially love the design of the world along with the main character & many of the monsters which have fun designs too. However my own opinion as a indie game dev myself is I feel the creators sorta overdid some of the nerfs you suggested to them, furthermore I feel the battle system needs better balancing overall as it feels haphazard, for ref the starter bee becoming semi-useless late game because of the downgrades means to me it still needs more work. Also I don't think they should merely fix every fun exploit they seen you do without replacing it with something else to make the game more fun in similar ways. Regardless of that stuff it is still a cool game worth playing I will say.
Mhmm I feel this while not a dev, I do not love the card battle system the way it is currently. You only get 3 energy and bash/damage is so important these draw cards are useless because by the time they’re in your hand you have no energy 🤷🏼♀️ it’s easily my least favorite aspect of the game.
By comparison with Ooblets you only get 3 cards each turn yet you can still build really interesting combos as are enemies.

If you guys really are curious how good drawing in yugioh is, there is a card that allows a draw 2 for being unable to use spell cards in the turn. Spell cards are the best card. That draw two card is limited.

Wait did they change it??? Why does your shock card only cost 1 energy???? My capacibee has multiple shock and shock+ cards and they all cost 2 energy to use?
Update: nevermind, didn't get far enough in the video to see the reason. Though it now feels odd that some spirit types still have basically the same move as shock but still at 1 cost?

Fun fact: you can flee from your enemy and while you're blinking you can step on the button and then squeeze between the enemy and the wall without fighting them
so odd...go to watch this, to get tips for my own first time playing.... I couldn't do anything that 'crashed night'. Had tools, but were not permitted to use them. Wonder if they patched that out lol. Thanks for this video, it did give me a lot of ideas for my play :)
