Ah, the Legend of Tebow, not the greatest pro talent in the world but damn did he ever make it exciting to watch!
Ya its was so exciting watching a "qb" who couldn't throw the ball 🙄
It was his short passes in the flat.... Slants and screens he couldn't throw..... He was money on the long balls and that's what beat the Steelers.... Tebow had talent and did a few things great! But all of the things he couldn't do well didn't equal to championships and longevity in the league giving defenses ample time to figure you out to shut you down.....however it would've been fun to watch him for at least a couple more seasons and I'm not even broncos fan
@BEASTMODE 2020 they had to mess with his throwing style because his release was SLOW on all of his throws which again if he continued to play that way defenses would figure out how defense every single pass......i won't deny he was a competitor and a winner.... But realistically long term tebow was never the answer..... Like i said before i wish i could've watched him a couple of more years..... He's doing just fine for himself now thanks to his fame he gained in college and very few years in the NFL and continues to work hard at everything he does
It was definitely exciting at times, but then other timed a bit boring with all the bad throws. I was never a big Tebow fan, but I respected his passion and competitive spirit
@@brandondixon1536 how can’t you hit the short stuff?
Tebow played his ass off always. DT and his connection was special.
Way better than Paxton Lynch, I'm watching him right now vs Vikings. Thanks for the memories Tebow
Heath Tinsley right? Lynch sucked, and the Broncos pretty much got crushed. defense wasnt that great either.
I agree. I know it isn't the same, but I'm wearing my Tim Tebow Patriot jersey. It is a nice day
Heath Tinsley agree Lynch can’t play for shit lol
Heath Tinsley anybody can be better than lynch he definitely wasn’t the guy
and now he’s back almost!
Prime Percy Harvin and Demaryius Thomas were something special
Lol this was Thomas’s rookie year
And that Denver Def shut'n teams out in second halfs
Noah O'Grady it was his sophomore year 2010 was his rookie year.
And Christian Ponder was the worst QB the NFL has ever seen IMO.

I remember this what a awesome game...TEBOW TIME!!! was Magical
They need to make a 30 for 30 on Tebow in the NFL especially that season
They did already. It's called a football life.

@b ray You could be at least REMOTELY respectful. I know it's the RUclips comment section and you feel like you have to be better than others, but you could just say they already did it through a different format as the first reply did.

bruh I just saw that, that nigga was HURT lmao oh my god
That was amazing! But nothing beats Dante Hall's juke against the Broncos in 2002: ruclips.net/video/cRStRjZl5N8/видео.html
I remember watching this game. That whole year was freaking nuts!! RIP DT one of my favorite Bronco players of all time!!!
Tebow out here hitting Thomas 88 everywhere 😁😂🤣😄😅
This year watching the team was like the greatest show ever sadness EVERY first half and just crazy excitement with a win to end the game
Looking back on Tebowmania to quote a famous movie Tim tebow wasn't the "quarterback we needed but the one we deserved" Never saw us winning a superbowl with him but I'll admit that season he helped me believe in the Broncos again after the McDaniels nightmare.
It should have made you question th hate for McDANIELS as his 2010 and 2011 drafts were core players in the 2011-2013 successes, here stupid John Fox was along for the ride.
6:20 Lets pray for number 33's ankles on that one
I remember how crazy Tebow mania back in 2011. I was senior in high school when that craze occurred.
Fun fact this is the first ever “cross-flexed” game which was supposed to air on CBS but was switched to Fox. In the 2014 contract this now happens almost every week, and it was inspired by this game
amlnet49 interesting. That must have taken some effort to get done.
nowadays Carmelo Washburn nfc teams will play head to head on CBS and AFC teams will play head to head on FOX
StFidjnr it's crazy man! I remember when fox represented NFC and CBS represented AFC. Oh How times have changed.
StFidjnr umm NFC is still fox and AFC is still CBS
StFidjnr yeah but it’s only for one game a week. CBS has like 8 crews and Fox has 7. 13 games are usually the amount on a Sunday(WK1-3 and WK13-17). So it all even itself out to which conference has more teams away. If AFC has 8 teams away and the NFC has 5, CBS would give a Fox a game to make sure there crews get work. This can vice versa as well.
I miss when Brian Billick was a color commentator with Fox. He was a smart dude.
Elway set this team back many years NY dropping someone who just knew how to win. And inspired his teammates in a way noone can understand. Being a leader is a gift.
Agreed, even if you got Peyton, Tebow is a great backup QB, his main problem was lack of experience, and even then, 8-5 with a playoff win against an amazing Steelers team is something to keep. Just needed more time. I wonder if he was kept on, would he have taken over in Super Bowl 48 Second Half, just to see if something moved.
If Tebow was Peyton’s back up for 3 years. He may have learned a lot from him. Then got even better.
TEBOW!!!
Broncos could use Tebow right now
As a place kicker.
I’d. Rather have Tim Tebow than some of these other quarterbacks like Paxton lynch
As a chaplain
The crack youre smoking must be potent to make you say dumb shit like that 😁
and now
Tim Tebow can't be stopped lmao
LOL, "We just lost to a guy who can't throw the ball" - Jared Allen
@b ray The only fool is you because you completely took his comment the wrong way
b ray Tebow was trash
@b ray Make me Ol' Merciful Keyboard Warrior
This game is a good example of why Ponder sucked as a QB and the quote should be "we just lost because our guy can't throw the ball" Having to watch his play as a viking was painful.
8:51 “keep Tebow in the pocket”
*Tebow hits a pass from the pocket*
Too funny lmao
@@GSonDunnyeah, these analysts didn’t get it. Tebow was deadly as a runner or deep ball thrower. Weirdly enough, he just couldn’t make the short throws or slants. So all defenses had to do was double cover receivers and have 1 man spy Tebow.
Watching the scores and stats of former players on the bottom is the best. Thanks for keeping it Throwback
Man he was fun to watch
Tebow had his moments, not many of them, but they were great.
This game makes me miss Percy Harvin.
Tim Tebow on the 3rd touchdown pass.Unbelievable play, I was 10 years old in 2011 that's when Cam Newton became the Quarterback of the Panthers as the first pick 💯💯
No one cares minority
The first NFL game I ever went to! Back and forth, down to the wire, between my favorite teams, with my cousins. That's what football's all about
NFLs loss that Tebo didn't have a full career.
Remember when the vikings had ponder at qb
Hey man, you gotta remember he was a second round talent that got thrown into a crappy situation because of McNabb. I honestly think he could have been average if we would have let him develop.
Carmelo Washburn ponder was skilled and crazy fast.he said recently he would blame god when he didn't play well instead of trying to get better. Damn, if he would of been smart he could of been decent.
Oh I sure do...
Those were fun times...if your a Packers, Lions, Bears, Panthers, Saints, Falcons, Buccaneers, Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, Redskins, Seahawks, 49ers, Cardinals, Rams, Steelers, Ravens, Browns, Bengals, Jaguars, Texans, Colts, Titans, Jets, Bills, Dolphins, Patriots, Raiders, Broncos, Chiefs, or Chargers fan...Not A Vikings fan...but a A fan of any other NFL team

Ponder v Tebow... the Golden Days of the NFL.
Tebow was a great player and very talented, the freaking media did their best to destroy his career just like they do with a lot of athletes. Specially Steven A. Smith .
That's a bunch of bullshit. Tebow and people like you that PRETEND you're being pious by playing the persecution card... Merlin Olsen, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Drew Brees, Kurt Warner, Reggie White, Deacon Jones, Rulon Jones, Randy Gradishar, and on and on... All religious. Almost all in the Hall of Fame. Tebow is gone because Tebow sucked. Stop telling lies. Try to be the Christian you tell everyone else you are.
@@TarqPick i know this is a year later, but I don't see him talking about religion at all in the original comment, just 'great player and very talented'. you took the media destroying his career b/c he is a christian, but that is also not true.
Don't EVER let this make you forget that this QB for the Broncos, Tim Tebow, is now a Baseball player for the AA Mets team
6:38 OH MY GOD #33
About the time I got into NFL. Good times
An this is one of the many games that you can look back N say Tim Tebow was legit. My favorite College QB an gave it everything he could in The NFL
If Tebow played like he did in the second half, for 4 quarters, he would be an elite Quarterback. He actually did that against Pittsburgh and I'm pretty sure he still owns the Broncos record for best Passer Rating in a playoff game
NFL didn’t like his praise of God and his kneeling.. which is pathetic.. Tebow was pretty legit and just never given a decent chance.. and he was solid every time he was on the field too
Man DT and Tebow has that connection.
Tim Tebow vs Christian Ponder. Two of the all-time greats.
he was that good and that exciting in just his first year as a starter. anyone who says Tim Tebow was not a good quarterback is numb
Bradley Brown preach man! 😂
Tebow Time is Back Baby!!!!!!!...Wait for the Magic to happen!....
His be whole is going to get taken advantage of at the tight end position. Just like his toilet ring got blasted out at the QB position.
Tebow might not have been the best...But he sure was box office
Everybody thought Tebow was Steve young after this 😂 but that year was great for the Broncos they were fun to watch
They never let tebow develop. He had sum russle Wilson in him. .....alil bit. Lead em to the playoffs, and won his first playoff game. What could've been smh....defense was lights out too
I mean it's really hard to trust a guy that has under 50% completion. How they actually made it to the playoffs and beat the Steelers I will never know, but he was a terrible NFL QB. He was a strong runner, still fumbled a lot though. To even put it in perspective, Jay Cutler was a better passer than Tebow and we all know how bad Cutler was..
What could've been??? What could've been was Peyton Manning the following season and an eventual SuperBowl.
Tebow was not good. Hella lucky though.
Life was relatively simple in 2011. Take me back.
Man they should make a movie out of this awsome season we had.
Tebow goatedd
Best leader of men ever!!!!!
He’s a natural leader.
In today's NFL Tebow would be unstoppable.. The is just a winner

What happened to the Ground cannot cause a fumble?
While in a runner’s possession, the ball contacts the ground before any part of the runner’s body other than a hand or foot, and that contact causes the runner to lose control of the ball, then indeed the ground has “caused” a fumble.
I was at this game in person and it was very entertaining. Can’t believe it was almost 10 years ago.
I know right? Time flies.
Was at this game, GO Broncos!
😥😥
I love and miss Tebow though! 👍🏽
Tim Tebow was special.
Anyone else surprised they didn't call that Rudolph catch incomplete. I mean I'm glad they didn't but with the Calvin Johnson rule and Jesse James last year it's almost like you needed the ball to be superglued to your hands for it to be ruled a catch in those days.
Rudolph didn't go to the ground and took multiple steps. That's the difference.
Not the same at all.
I remember watching this game, Tebow and Ponder had a battle
As a Gator, I love this game for multiple reasons
why is everyone saying he didn't get a chance and he was so good? All of his completions in this video were to outrageously wide open receivers and he has the longest wind-up throwing motion ever lol guys he wasn't a good qb
Maybe if you look very carefully, it might dawn on you why they were so open!
It is actually pretty simple math. If you use 8-9 men to stop the run then receivers get open. Tebow had some of the absolutely best ball handling on play action, and sorry you haters are so ridiculous! This is a brief extract of what he did in the NFL:
Fastest player in NFL history to six game-winning drives
Most passing yards in a playoff debut in NFL history
Highest passer rating of any Broncos QB ever in a playoff game
Only NFL QB to ever to complete four passes of 30 yards or more in a single quarter of an NFL playoff game, with 51, 30, 58, & 40.
Most yards per attempt in a playoff game
Most yards per completion in a playoff game and fewest passes to 300+ yards in any NFL game
Only quarterback in NFL history to throw three 50+ yard passes in a playoff game
Longest touchdown pass in NFL playoff history in overtime in the shortest overtime winning play in history
13+ Point Fourth-Quarter Comebacks - reached Elway’s career total by his 4th start
Tripled the win rate over his predecessor
Only QB ever drafted by Broncos to win a playoff game for us
First QB in NFL history to throw and run for a TD in his first 3 starts
Record for Longest rushing TD by a Broncos QB ever set in his first start
Largest comeback win in Broncos history (later surpassed by Manning) set in his 2nd start
Largest comeback in NFL history within the last 3 minutes set in his 4th start
...
If you look at his 16 starts and compare to elite QBs he, won more, scored more, had fewer turnovers than Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Troy Aikman, John Elway, Terry Bradshaw.... over the same stretch.
Outrageously wide open because he gave himself extra time moving around in the backfield. Should be obvious to you tbh. No secondary can cover forever, no matter how good they are
I miss watching these on NFL Sunday highlights with the experts at a loss for words every time he won.
#Tebow4Ever
Tebow and vince young imo never got a fair chance.
@Jim Johnson Vince Young started a few games for Philly after that - He stunk it up really bad. Eagles fans won't forget the "Dream Team" quote from him.
Tebow played for Philly too. . . He was not good at all.
For Vince Young, blame his head coach Jeff Fisher...
They were both hit/miss QBs in the NFL. Tebow couldn't really throw the ball a great majority of the time and his completion % speaks for itself. Vince would've been better if he wasn't on the titans honestly.
That punter had the nerve to wear number 4
Clutch player
Damn. Tebow was good 😂😂😂
Go Gators baby! Percy is such a talent
Florida Gator day right there , Percy Harvin and Tebow went off
I totally forgot dawkins was on the broncos.
SO did he at his HOF inclusion!
Tebow had the drive and motivation to work on the off season. Why he didn’t have a Great QB coach working with him is beyond me. But it comes down to management and unfortunately most coaches come and go
crazy juke at 6:10
If Tebow played in 2020 he would be much better because of the new age offenses. Teams like Baltimore know how to use him.
*Teeee-eeeee-Bowww*

Man of God! They made the playoffs that year too! They beat my Chiefs twice that year!
Tebow Tebow Tebow
6:12 that juke tho
The original tayson hill
Percy Harvin was something else!
He recently said he smoked weed before every game. LoL
Never should have let him go.
You can say that again. Elway had him under contract for three more years at a cost of less than 5 million dollars.
Well when the prospect of having Peyton Manning presents itself to you, you have to take it. If the Colts would have held on to Peyton, Tebow would have definitely been the QB the following season.
If I recall Tebow wasn't the starting QB that season. So why not keep him on as a back up. Peyton was a good grab but his health was already on the decline. Keeping Tebow on would have been ideal for the future of the team. Peyton seemed more like instant gratification.
@@pittsapirate86 While Tebow would have learned a lot under Manning, having both in Denver would have brought even more media attention to the team. It's hard enough winning in the NFL; adding more attention causes distractions and in this case, may have caused rifts in the locker room by way of QB controversy.
Imagine having two alpha QBs in the locker room. It just wouldn't work. The Eagles know this. That's why they shipped Foles out of Philly. Thats why Cam wasn't signed til recently. Anyone with half a brain knows he is a better option than half the starting QBs in the NFL but you can't have him on the team if you want to empower your young QB.
Getting back to Tebow. Yes he took over and won games and yes he took the team to the playoffs and won, but once the Patriots blew the Tebowmania goggles off of everyone, it was clear he had a long way to go if he was going to be a great QB.
Manning on the other hand was already established and had a few good years left in him. If you want to keep your job as a coach and as a GM, you have to do everything you can to win and unfortunately for Tebow, that meant getting rid of him so the team could rally around Manning.
I wish Tebow had a longer career because it was fun watching him but going to the Jets and the Eagles was a career killer at the time. And the media didn't do him any favors by constantly covering him.
Is he a starter today? Absolutely not. Backup? The way I see it, only as a 3rd string and only in the way Taysom Hill is used in NO.
Thats fair. Valid points. I always look at it from a player standpoint. I saw Tebow as a natural leader. His athleticism is probably what got him as far as he made it but his ability to rally the team and create that will to win is what made him great to me. I just didn't see that with Peyton. And I feel like the legend of Peyton became greater than his actual level of play towards the end. I mean looking at that superbowl win he put the team in more horrible situations than good. The defense literally won that game. And Osweiler was in my opinion ruined because of that experience. No different than Tebow getting shipped of because Peyton.
Love me some Jared Allen
Who agrees that teams did not let Tebow be Tebow. They should have put him out there with the team's plays and let him do his thing. Florida did that and they won 2 national championships as I remember. Anyway, they tried to turn him into a pocket quarterback and destroy all of his natural talent -- imagine if the Vikings or the Giants did that to the innovative, scrambling, seat-of-the-pants Fran Tarkington -- Hall of Famer I think (better passer I admit). But the image of Tebow throwing that beautiful strike during the playoffs to beat the Steelers, that was the REAL guy out there, adlibbing using his natural talent and the ball was right there on the money! I really thought that Bellechek (Patriots) was going to be the one to let Tebow go -- but keeping the Patriots' playbook in front of Tim's face all the time. But, didn't happen.
Can I say . . . It's not his fault. It's the NFL system. Like the outdated, entrenched conventional way of the MLB recruiting ideas and system shown in MONEYBALL.
Tebow has the QB skills of an aging alcoholic. QB coaches throw there garbage in Tebow's be whole.
I think Tebow could have been more successful too. even if he wasn't a starter, he looked better than half the backups teams had.
@@Jay-ot3cq Really? His mechanics were so bad that receivers couldn't rely on him delivering the ball in the same spot on time... ever (hence his very low completion percentage). His reading ability was so bad that he regularly stared his primary read down without even attempting to look at other receivers. And while he could scramble he didn't have elite NFL speed so he couldn't rely on that ability on the regular. His physical skill set was good enough for college but not the NFL. Tebow simply wasn't physically capable of being a quality NFL player at any position. That's the reality of the situation... if he could play he'd be playing.
@@Jay-ot3cq Yeah, Jay. I think you're the only person who got my point. Tebow cannot be restricted to the usual NFL QB or even TE position. He knows how to win, so let him lose. Just look at what he did to beat Pitts in the playoff game.
TEBOW? @9:26......TF!!!! Can't fake on'em tho he had his time....i always gave Tebow props.
I would have liked to see tebow play alil longer
Saludos 👋👋👋🏈🏈🏈🏈
People gave up on him 😔
He had very few amazing games. Somehow he just got lucky in the 4th quarter with a trash throwing arm. If his completion % wasn't under 50% then people would've gave him more credit and I'm sure he would still be playing, but under 50% is abysmal. Some of the worst QBs that actually started for years could even hit a 60% mark.
No. He had MULTIPLE chances with multiple teams. Don't try that bullshit "he never had a chance...sob...ppl gave up on him" 🙄
@@ken7165 you obviously didn't follow him. His last start was in the playoffs. Your move
Damn I remember this game and screaming to get McGehee off the field!
Weird that Tim Tebow and Christian Ponder both had decent stat lines in the same game

Tim Tebow to DT in overtime against Pittsburgh...
Always a joy watching Minnesota take L's. :)
GoPackGo!
This game is burned in my mind forever. It ruined my week lmao. Pretty sure we lost the next game by a close score as well. This season was quite traumatic if i remember correctly
Is that minshews brother in the thumbnail 🤣
Why does the quality make it seem like this was in the 90's
Tebow was a winner despite his pass percentage.. plus percy Harvin, to me, may have been the most athletic player at this time, if I'm not mistaken migraines ended his career.. I'm a huge broncos fan but super bowl Harvin = NASTY!
The running back look like Ap haha
Tebow was slinging that football.
The Broncos should've never gave up on him.
Yeah sorry I'll take Peyton Manning 120 times out of 100 over Tebow. Tebow was fun to have in Denver but the Broncos were never going anywhere with him.
except to the playoffs lmao
How did tebow take over the second half?
Poor guy was never given a chance.
