    If you freeze the container with the lid off, the lump will not form. You can put the lid on once the mixture is frozen.

      If I remember right it was a bit icy, but not over the top. It seemed to make it even more refreshing with a few ice crystals. It seemed to hit the spot.

    One more question, Steve...You refreeze your ice cream in another container. Does it remain creamy when thawed out? It seems like you'd have to remix it once it freezes again. Is that not true?

      I’ve just been letting it set out and get soft enough to scoop out. It seems to be just as creamy as it was when originally made. I’ve done it both ways, remix and just let it set out. To me it’s a lot less work to just let it set out and it seems to be just as good. My experience with the remix is that it starts the whole process over again ….. powder texture, remix, add milk or other substance and remix again. Just a lot easier to let it set out and get soft enough to scoop. Lately I’ve just been leaving it in the original container to store and thaw out.

      @SmokinSteve ok. This is what I wanted to know. Thanks, again. I had half a container last night and stuck the rest back in the freezer in the creami container. I'll let you know what the texture is like from simply thawing it out rather than remixing.

      @@SmokinSteve I have it a look, and the ice cream looked great. Where I live (in France), I can't get jello in the grocery stores. I'll have to see if I can find a pudding substitute. Thanks for the tips!

    Could you put the chocolate syrup in first, then the coffee, then the cream? Give it a stir, then freeze? I might try this today?
