- This video shows the comparison of some visual details of Assassin's Creed Origins and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I love both games and don't want to belittle any of them in this video. The comparison of these details isn’t enough to (and isn’t supposed to) determine which game is better overall. Hence the title "Visual".
Both games are recorded on Ultra graphics settings on an MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G paired with i5 4570 at 3,2 GHz together with 8 GB of DDR3 1600 MHz Ram.

How do people say Witcher 3 is better if it has no parkour like Uncharted, Assassin Creed, Tomb Raider, and Prince of Persia. Kinda gets on my nerves.
@MrAssassinHD Now that I'm in Skellige, parkour is DESPERATELY needed. I need to climb in some places of the mountains, and he doesn't even have that feature. It's a pain in the ass, for example, I tried to get into a boat, but then Geralt would sometimes get stuck between a boat and a rock. Uncharted 4 offers a lot of climbing mechanics necessary to get anywhere, and it's very smooth. Witcher 3 has too many flaws when it comes to actual gameplay, both parkour and combat systems are lackluster here. If he travels to places, parkour is very important. It wasn't as important in the first two Witcher games, because the first two didn't have open world like Witcher 3. Also, I've had to ride on a horse and ride all the way around a huge fucking mountain, because Geralt can't climb for shit.

I have played both games and Imo witcher 3 is better, I enjoyed playing ac origins and in terms of graphics it wins but that does not excuse it from having a mediocre story and repetitive side quests. Witcher 3 on the other hand has an amazing story and never ending content it also has no micro transactions unlike ac origins who make you pay full price and then try to persuade you to pay even more to get content you can't get in-game. Something that bugs me though is how lots of people in the comments are saying that ac origins is better because they haven't played witcher 3 yet and are just assuming that because it looks better it makes it a better game which is not true, another thing is lots of people are saying that the characters in witcher 3 are boring and that's because you probably never even attempted to explore them and do side quests with them that makes you become more attached. So witcher 3 will most likely be one of the best rpgs ever made while ac origins will just be one of the best assassins creed's.

Witcher 3 hands down theres a reason its considered the best game ever made by many people.
ACO is just a good game that was clearly inspired by Witcher 3 and succeeded on many levels but still, it has ways to go.
well I like both games, I'm actually AC fan but witcher is considered one of the best game of the century. If you compare the graphic and open world I think ACO can beat witcher 3. Since the witcher is almost a perfect game ACO still have space for improvement. if it come to score, we can compare 2 core thing of 2 games which are openworld exploration/graphic and story. Witcher story: 9.5 ACO story 7,5; witcher open world 9, ACO open world: 10. AS you can see maybe witcher cant beat ACO in graphic and open wolrd but It is way better in other aspect. Still the Openworld of ACO is so rich that it can surpass other aspect.
It's 2018 and I can proudly say that W3 is still like in top 3 best games ever until now.

AC looks much better in terms of overall graphics. W3 is a bit "cartoony" if you will, AC is more realistic. Both games are great, though.
If the sidequests in Origins weren't so repetitive it would be better than Witcher 3.
First I was blown away by the amount of detail put into ACs Open world, too.
The main quest is really good, but most of the side missions play almost the same: A) kill some animals B) kill some bandits C) rescue someone and kill some bandits/animals. The fact that most of the NPC's you meet are forgettable doesn't make it better.
Still Combat and Open World is better in Origins.
You forgot, D) Investigate something and escort somebody.
I think Withcer 3 quests are repetative too, you have to turn on withcer sense everytime and kill somebody after this. Idk, but i remembered many NPC. But i say it again the Witcher 3’s story is better, so touching.

Each game has difference. Some part, witcher is better , and another part, aco is better.
Like, witcher has a nice storyline and boss fight/ and aco has its’ own playstyle: like parkour and assassinate.

I love both games, in terms of graphics and gameplay ACO is the winner, but for me I love TW3 the most in terms of story and everything else 😊
I'd say the main thing separating these two titles is heart. Both are very good games that I played through to entirety. Graphically ACO, as seen in the video, improves upon things like lighting and water, realistic character and horseback riding movements, combat animations, etc. and some technical aspects of combat. The open world in ACO is beautiful, but also barren and largely uninteresting. It's easy to have a large open world when half of it is sand dunes and mountains that don't have much going on in them. Breathtaking the first time you ride through them, but after that they become annoying to traverse repeatedly when looking at very similar environments. The points of interest on ACO's map rapidly become uninteresting, as most of them are the same prefabricated enemy fortresses that are arranged slightly differently and requiring the same old "kill two generals, open two chests" routine. The story is essentially a bracket of people you have to kill, and the side quests didn't really inspire me to ever NOT skip the dialogue and just get it over with. I never ended up really feeling anything for any of ACO's characters. In Witcher 3, it's clear that the devs put soul into dialogue, choices and influence, and quest variety to really make the player become emotionally invested in not only main characters, but even people you meet fairly briefly like the Baron. Almost every part of the map and point of interest comes with characters, architecture, and/or written notes that tell entire backstories for NPCs or lore or history that the game actually gives you reason to become curious about. Literally every time you leave the beaten path you can find ruins or bandit camps or treasure troves that reward you with small pieces of insight into the greater world. For me at least, even after 200+ hours of game, new game +, and expansions, I was compelled to read the books, watch "making of" videos, and read the wikis to learn more about the Witcher world. ACO I beat, thought "that was neat, worth the $50" and uninstalled it to make room for other games. It felt like ACO was made well so that the company would make money, while Witcher 3 was made well because the devs really loved what they were doing. Of course I'm a fanboy, but a game that leaves you with that sort of feeling of wonder even long after you've beaten it, is what separates these two games in my mind.

Don't know why buy I really love walking through tons of miles of sand. Why put random and special quest around the world? No, they're just shit. Why make every area different? No, bad idea.
Can understand that you love origins for his graphics (and compared to other games out in 2017 is not so good, though), but the comparison finishes here. Just look at skellige, is so nordic and different that when you come back to the Continent it really seems to be in another world.
But underwater is better in AC, this is true.
Still, a 2015 game is the best game ever made. But this is just my opinion, because when I was 60 hours into TW3, I still did not start the main quest almost, but I respect your opinion. Ubisoft managed to rise a dead brand from the ashes!

You forgot to put side quests 😒 and characters customisation and development . In which AC lack of all these . I can’t remember 1 memorable side quest in AC . And the main quest in AC it’s kindof gone after first 2 main kills 😒, side quests, ubberly rubbish i skip all dialog in AC . Sorry for a late response... Yeah, it's supposed to be only about visuals. Not in depth comparison. It's too hard to equally compare pretty different games without speaking/analyzing. Just a fun video.
Both are good but i'd buy ACo if it hasn't those multi layer DRMs .
Anyways I enjoyed the witcher for to many hrs.
I think the bow is better with ACo but combat is for witcher maybe because I didn't see any parry or counter attack just jumping in every direction I think its because of the player himself .

MF Doom Witcher 3 is defenitely not perfect (nothing is). But it is pretty revolutionary when it comes to how emotionally touching and atmospheric this game’s world and story are.

Witcher 3 only has good cutscenes but not good gameplay fighting in Witcher 3 is totally stupid while AC O is pretty good . I have played both Witcher has stupid physics the trees and plants just dissapper and has no definite existence. Witcher 3 cut scenes are pretty awesome and it's music is damn good . But in gameplay it definitely AC origins

Visuals - Assasians Creed, however you can argue but I think Assasians Creed should win because of the world been large compared to TW3
Story - no doubt TW3
Combact - no doubt ACO
Character - bayek is better (imo). Geralt is awesome but that's my opinion and if BAYEK gets a triology he can catch anyone and be one of the greatest gaming protagonist.
Details - TW3 has some insane details while ACO has some above insane, so ACO
Side quests - hands down is TW3, ACO did pretty well but still..
Gameplay - time wise is TW3 and accept for hours ACo has bit better gameplay.
Now, the winner as per points is ACO but the points TW3 wins has a big margin, both games are equal and it's upto you to decide, I'm just excited for the new dlc and hope there is few more to come. the reason why people don't like aco more than TW3 is because it comes from Ubisoft, no one question TW3 when it came with flaws on day one but everyone had their head on ass when aco came with day one flaws which was resolved in day one patch.
my favorite game of all time is tlou and surely this (aco) will be in my top 3 list not below top 5 of all time.
