@@Tauriel-PSN im the one going artound the map just to see how empty it is in witcher there is more to it in the world always lore behind whats happening even when you explore homes always something behind it valhalla just feels so empty even odyssey had more going on xD im not talking about o a castle o enemys more like actual random stuff going on that make the world alive evin when you look at novigrad the people arent just walking arround they are more alive its alot more immersive and not to forget its witcher who inspired the latest ac games yet ubisoft fails at it even odyssey was more alive in that case but its ubisoft they dont care about immersive

Valhalla is a great game, with absolutely amazing graphics and effects, but Witcher 3 is a legend game, in this type of projects, it’s undisrupted

Bruh the fire expansion for valhalla should have been done woth the torch... you basically destry entire village with that. And with sword combo you should have showed the other weapons: in Valhalla by putting two different weapons you create dozen of combo. With the torch you should go in Valhalla in the zone corrupted: there is terryfing

Valhalla only has better gameplay and graphics. Witcher 3's story is more engaging and it doesn't drag so unnecessarily long. It has better soundtrack, side contents, DLCs, more interesting world design, and hotter women.

Sure valhalla has the better graphics, but the world feels so empty and boring compared to the witchers. The main thing it has over valhalla is the lore. There’s so many interesting side quests and things to find in the Witcher 3. Valhalla you just run around clearing icons off the map with some very uninspiring side quests.

Valhalla was a little disseapointing to me. The graphics were top notch but the story didnt really do it for me

U cant compete this two the Witcher is way older and the updates he gets are only for visual not for gameplay so ofc arrows wont be on trees and water wont move with arrows

I always thought The Witcher 3 "open world" felt kinda soulless as whole, compared to let's say the sandbox Skyrim dynamics with their named NPCs and the fact that almost if not all of them has a purpose and a routine, not only existing for you as the player, but for the world itself, adding tremendously to the immersion.
In TW3 you can steal items from NPCs houses in front of them because it's there for you to take anyways not for them to use. NPCs stand glued to one specific spot the entire day repeating the same sentence all over again, because they are just a bunch of numbers in a code, reminding you constantly that this is a video game, a good one at that, existing for you. It just never strikes me as a world of its own. But...
At the very least The Witcher's 3 still manages to redeem itself through its story, lore, characters and great DLC's that somehow make up for this and create a memorable experience. Undeniable.
On the other hand, goddamn: Valhalla (and Odyssey, maybe even Origins) manages to be even more bland and lifeless with this new RPG-ish bloated open world formula, creating a convoluted experience in a plastic fake world that is undeniably good to look at, but boring to interact with. Blatantly designed to milk what it once was a good series for the sake of money, no originality or creativity at all.
TL;DR: The Witcher 3 is the superior experience overall, and I would add that CDPR (even after Cyberpunk's fiasco) are better developers, at least trying to innovate in the AAA market.
The Witcher 3 has details, heck, like a ton of them scattered across the map (if one actually dedicates on playing and pays attention). In my opinion it's not as soulless as some may think, it's just that TW3 is inherently slow paced. But as always, to each their own, as I do prefer Witcher 3 over Skyrim.
AC Valhalla Sounds like a 90s game.. the sound mixing is probably the worst i have ever seen in a AAA game. Witcher 3 is obviously the far better game but Valhalla won some "realistic" tests so not bad i guess...

Is it me or is it that this video is really trying to make Valhalla look better than The Witcher 3. Valhalla may have better graphics, beauty and physics but The Witcher mercilessly beats Valhalla when it comes to Story, Characters, Gameplay and Side quests, and its just the better rpg overall. And also comparing an assassin's creed game's parkour to The Witcher is just downright unfair. Assassin's creed is a franchise with parkour as one of its main identity. The games are all built on having probably the best third person parkour systems the gaming industry has ever seen

I was looking for a fairer comparison between WH Complete and AC Odyssey. Valhalla is far too recent. I had hoped the next-gen update would at least make WH look as it did before the downgrade, but it doesn't seem to do much.

From a gameplay and mechanics perspective Witcher is Dated compared to Valhalla. But that's expected. The biggest thing I see that AC has over W3 is combat imo.

Not sure if this is the next gen update. I think it's the 4.0 version of the witcher on ultra setting. The Next gen update has a closer camera over geralts shoulder on default. For one the fall damage threshold has been increased by quite alot that fall from the house wouldve just taken a chunk of health instead of killing you or saved you if you manualy rolled in the next gen. Plus colours are more realistic in the Next gen along with less yellow tinted hue. Still looks great tho, but would be better to see AC Valhalah compared with the actual Next gen update of the wither 3.
It is the Next Gen 100%, the guy just turned off the annoying over the shoulder camera.

Its obvious you prefer games with good graphics, good parkour, water and fire physics and good combat. Newsflash, Witcher 3 sucks at all of those. But overall Witcher 3 is still superior to AC Valhalla. W3 still superior to AC odyssey which is a better AC game than Valhalla. Its obvious Witcher 3 is not a game for you. Ubisoft has been getting Fire physics and water physics right since Farcry 2, do its not something new.

That’s because you’re watching on RUclips. Probably on your phone, which has the image condense down 1.) by RUclips (they can’t run 4K videos most of the time now), and 2.) you phone can’t run it. So, you’re lucky to be seeing even in 1080P.
All I’m playing ATM is the Witcher 3, and the next-gen update if breathtaking. The Ray-Tracing is transformed the game. AC Vahalla looks really good too BTW. But, the ray-tracing in The Witcher 3 is as lot better, and more full on in the Witcher 3 making is stunning looking game.

First of all, I am a pc gamer. I've played both games on pc. So my game experience on this may differ from that of console. Here are my decisions.
Graphic wise, witcher ng wins. However, if i consider both visual and stability, ACValhalla wins. For now. Unless they come up with a huge hotfix that allows players to use rt and dlss while staying above 60 fps without any frequent crashes and consecutive frame drops after reloading the game whenever I die, which drove me nuts. (FYI: I've tested recent hotfix and figured out that they didn't solve anything that I mentioned above except crashing issue)

Neither of those comments are true. They both can run at 60 FPS now. So you have no idea what you’re Talking about (you obviously have no idea what the Witcher next gen update is)
The graphics are better in the Witcher 3. The ray-tracing is a lot more in-depth in the Witcher 3

I haven't played witcher 3 next gen but I have seen some benchmark video of witcher 3 this game barely gives 45 fps in high settings

And all the videos on here is condense down in quality MASSIVELY because RUclips can’t cope ir on their servers, so they don’t run 4K now. The the withcwe 3 looks amazing now. Nothing this video. I’ve tested the Witcher 3 and it runs 60FPS without a sweet on my Xbox series X. So what. Tosh. AC Vahalla was the one with problems. It has to have so many patches. The ray-tracing in AC Vahalla is nothing compared the Witcher 3, it lot more in depth. AC Vahalla you barely notice it

That's an unfair comparison. You can't compare AC Parkour to any other game. However, Both Games have so many things great things. I bested both and loved them. IMA, Witcher 3 takes the lead because of the compelling story.

No it doesn’t. It looks out of the world. RUclips has condense these videos down a lot. So TBH neither look anything like it does how I’m playing the Witcher 3 No on my LG OLED 4K TV. Compared to watching this on my iPhone which is barely playing it at 1080P. The Witcher 3 is one of the best lookkkmg games now with the ray-tracing
