Comment seeker: Watch the documentary about sharks on netflix. It shows the mako shark filmed using this same technique but in much better quality and at a higher speed.

When I went and rented a Mako shark charter back in the 80-90s we traveled to the Canyons of of the Jersey coast 4 ppl $1K you draw straw's to see who fights in what order Your In about 1,500 feet off the ocean blue we caught the first one which was a baby 100 pounds but it's a Mako so into the cooler it went next I'm on deck with about 1/2 hour to fish the captain tells me to strap up shark on after 40 minutes of fighting it we put a Tail rope on string it out long way to the back of the 50 footship a couple hours drive back to dock I weigh my Mako it's a 228 /8 feet long still have his Jaws in my house the Jaws are beautiful and I can see how they just cut the meat of the other fish no problem
