Bruh the most dangerous animal on earth is a mama bear and this dude asking for a friendship with 4 grapes 😂😂
A Massive legend Correction. The most dangerous animals on Earth are humans.
Canucker Eh! A mother bear will hunt down a human to the edge of the Earth to protect their cub. Hunter or not
Canucker Eh! Yeah yeah cos humans are smart blah blah but put a human and a grizzly in a cage and you’ll get answers real fast 🤷🏽♂️
A Massive legend Well i mean the strength of a human is not muscles its the ability to make and use weapons
Zekedgaming yes that is correct but that doesn’t make us the most dangerous cos we not gonna shoot whoever walks by or is near our kids but if you as a human or any other animal is near a baby bear and his mama is around there is a 99% chance you gonna get attacked and ripped to pieces lol.
"Bears aren't as dangerous as we thought they were" "One move on the bears part can end everything" ... correction, bears are exactly as dangerous as we thought they were. Some people just aren't as smart as they are supposed to be.
Yeah, I was rather puzzled by the juxtaposition of those two statements!
Well stated!
Yup
I think he should have used the word “aggressive” rather than dangerous. Cos bears are as dangerous as hell and he was completely at her mercy.
But she wasn’t as aggressive as she could have been.
She wasn't even as aggressive as she was entitled to be considering he came into her habitat into her space and tried to touch her cub. Idiots like this get themselves and the bears killed they'll either maul him or get over familiar or aggressive with other humans and be put down
_"Who in the world wouldn't want to do this?"_ Well, you found me.
Right??
"She's nervous about something" yeah it's you mate
the guy is an idiot. feeding bears like this takes away their natural instinct for foraging and thus become reliant upon humans for food. heck he should of been eaten just for his idiocy.

Magical Cookies -- No matter the amount of food, the bear will still learn to associate humans with food, which is the reason for the signs in ALL national parks: DON'T FEED THE BEARS. Ya reckon? And getting close and trying to "befriend" them, aside from being really stupid, causes them to lose their natural fear of man, sometimes to the point of being a "nuisance" animal and having to be relocated. Repeat offenders have to be euthanized -- not good for bear or man.
and you people are always saying Americans are the stupid ones... tsk tsk
What would you do if you were hungry and a friendly hamburger handed you a grape?
lmaoooo I am completely dead
Bears are not carnivores.
J.R Paiva lol they are, they both meat and plants, which makes them omnivores, also their digestive system is design for meat, like panda, but panda lost its taste for meat thats why it need to eat bamboo 1/3 of their body weight a day just to get the nutrition they need. In conclusion all bear species need meat, they arent cow which has specialize bactieria to break down plants or crops for food and proprer digestion.
@@lemting2264 never said they don't eat meat, just said they are not carnivores, they are omnivores and some species like the black bear their main diet is plant based.

Nothing like telling bears that humans equal food. That's always a dandy of an outcome. 🤦
Good point about food habituation.
@@ilovelalakers lol i forgot about this video. I in no way want the following to happen...but this dude getting mauled would have been best case scenario. We cannot have generations of bears growing up thinking that humans will have/give food. They need to be afraid of us, and to an extent us afraid of them. Distance between us and them is whats best for the bears and in turn ourselves
Fed bear is a dead bear. When did Bear Expert forget that?
@@d8l835 Its impossible for them to be forever afraid of us if we are gonna live in the same areas
Bears are amazing creatures. But nothing good ever comes from getting to close to them. We live in different words and benefit best when we respect each other’s space.
I find it arrogant, and harmful to the animals, to go close to them. You might damage them fighting for your life, even kill them, because you provoked a siituation where the animal attacked you. Just fuck off, take video and pictures from afar, and let nature be.
Cringed so hard when he started reaching for the cub with the mother behind him. This guy is ridiculously lucky
Betting on how long it takes her to fully attack him... Leave them alone, you are in THEIR space!
More like stupid.
Mother bears are dangerous enough with Cubs when you're just walking in the general area but to be between them and have the audacity to make movements towards the baby is just unheard of. If that was a grizzly the warning bite wouldve left him legless (and probably throatless too)

Funny how we humans project our emotions and thoughts onto animals that have been wild for hundreds of years if not millions of years and think that they're just going to be our friends. Under certain conditions, bears, even black bears, will cannibalize. They know nothing but their instincts to survive. They're not our friends. They're a form of life that deserves respect.

Really made me angry. I live in Missoula, MT, bears regularly come into the wildland-urban interface, especially in the fall, searching for food. i would love to be eaten by a bear
For that matter, a lot of animals can be dangerous and people aren't always careful around them and get complacent. Especially animals that weigh more or have big teeth, it just takes one mistake. We've had horses and other large animals, but kicking at a fly can hurt a human badly if they are in the wrong spot.

Unless you're smaller you're actually supposed to fight black bears. They aren't the same unstoppable Force that grizzlies are.
HardRockMiner depends on the bear. A male broqn or grizzly is a scavenger so playong dead ia like a homeless man finding a whole 4 piece kfc meal with sides and a drink, he won't think twice.
I thought you only play dead around grizzlies and fight back black bears... but then again I'm getting this info from RUclips so idk how viable it really is...
marcellb579 lol, yeah.
Basic idea is that there's two options when youre up against a grizzly:
1. It actively wants to kill you.
In that situation, unless you're about to bust out like Muhammad Ali, you're dead and you just don't know it yet.
2. It just wants to get rid of a threat
Taking the hits will make it think the fight is over and won't make it want to chase you.
You are right, fight black bears /play dead to grizzlys. Generally black bears do mean you harm if they attack, grizzly are mostly curious and non threatening. You do have a chance against black bears but not so much with grizzlys because of their size. All bears are extremely strong and stout. My brother raised a black bear cub, and I can tell you the little guy was awfully strong for his size at three months.

Guess we have to take his word that he was 'bitten'. But hey, he definitely acted like he was, haha. Leave the bears alone! 😆
I can't believe that 🐻 didn't have a strong sense of humor like we all thought she would
Speaking as someone who has worked in bear research... I don't know the context of this video but this seems horrendously irresponsible.
Idk either but if these are wild bears (which I assume they are) he most likely just created 2 nuisance bears
You should specifically explain why. I'm assuming it's especially bad to habituate a cub to humans, while the mother bear may then attack someone over it.
@@someotherdude You already figured it out.
If you truly were involved in research you would have found out the context of this video before commenting.
Camera man had one job and missed the most important moment
cause it never happened.
Cause it didn't actually happen, there's no way they missed it it's BS for TV.
@@bbc6 What's wrong in your head, the cameraman was probably focused on the little one. Shit happens. Greetings, a cameraman.
@@dickswingston8854 😂 are you him?
Dick Swingston nah, this one looks very fake, the camera was getting the whole picture, than suddenly (and for no reason at all) they cut to the POV camera (which doesn’t show nothing either) and when it returns to the camera man the guy starts acting as if he had been bitten without any evidence at all, and conveniently, the cameraman was zoomed in on the cub.
its sad how detatched most of these comments are. These creatures arent monsters. Their social, intelligent mammals.
Yes, welcome to RUclips. Where apparently a celebrated wildlife researcher and filmmaker with decades of experience (Gordon Buchanan) is a moron for monitoring and researching a black bear family.
Fantasy becomes reality real quick in the wilderness.
