What an enjoyable garden tour. Her garden is really coming together beautifully, and I love how they created a garden that fits the environment instead of forcing it to be something that isn’t natural for the climate and the location. And I’m still jealous of the massive orange trees, lol.
Those orange trees are majestic! She’s worked so hard and it’s looking so good.
Beautiful! You two pair well with one another. So positive and passionate about what you do. And we can not forget Robbie 😍 The 3 of you bring such joy to your videos that it makes us want to get outside and create the gardens we love. Thank you 🙏
They really do!
It’s really been such a joy to become friends with Janey and Robbie. Not only are they wonderful gardeners and people, but it’s also so incredible to have this support system on my RUclips journey! Thank you for being here. 🌸
@@HelloGarden and we can't forget Michael Glassman. The 4 of you are so fun to watch as well as chalked full of so much knowledge. I love ya'll ❤
Oh Michael is such a gem. 💕
I need someone to help me hear what my home is saying. It might be German. 😂
Both of you are fabulous. Love seeing Janie’s garden through your lens. So glad that I found your channel.
Love this comment 😂😂😂😂
I really need to get on that garden translator app development. 🤣 I’m so glad you’re here. Keep bringing the comments… I’ve been laughing at this one for an hour!
I think you (we) need to start planning a girls weekend with Kate & Janey - OMG how much fun would that be - sipping wine (or whatever) in the garden, visiting all the garden shops, antiquing - giggling, laughing, planning our gardens - too much fun !!! Until we can get together, I'll meet all y'all here, watching Janey and Kate's adventures - thank you for sharing it all with us
Heeeeck yes! There are actually two gardeners here in Seattle that lead garden tour trips and I just think… I could plan one heck of a girls trip. 🍷💅🏻🌱
OMG!! That would be a dream come true!!
Always love a garden tour with Janey! Even better with a garden girlfriend!! Double the fun! Looks like you really enjoyed your trip. Thanks for sharing ❤
I did… it was such a treat for me! And I totally agree… we as gardeners do so much work alone and it is the most wonderful delight to share our gardens with those we hold dear. 💐
I must say, this tour blew.my.mind. I loved learning from Janey about the gathering space concept of Western design. I loved listening to the cogs and wheels spinning of two great garden minds and this took my appreciation for both of your skills to another level. For me, hearing about the why is easily as important as the how. I'd love to hear this kind of collaboration discussion again--thanks for sharing!
I totally agree! It isn’t just about placing pretty plants… it’s the journey and process behind it too. So glad you enjoyed it!
Love that you let the house and garden speak to you. I live in a cottage and have a cottage garden.
It’s something that I think is one of the cornerstones of good design… what is the property asking from us and how will we engage within the space. So happy that you enjoyed this and I also LOVE a cottage garden. 💕
Thank you, Kate and Janey! This was so fun! I also enjoyed listening to your podcast yesterday when I was potting up seedlings. Enjoy your weekend!
Oh yay! The podcast was so fun because I feel like we get to connect on such a deep level. Thank you for supporting us in this big new adventure!
Lovely tour and I’m so glad that you’re both friends 🪴🌹🪴
Thank you!! 😊 It was so fun to see her progress in real life.
You are my new favorite person ❤
Well welcome! You have found your garden home on the internet. 🤣
She really is the sweetest! ❤
Thank you! 💕
That's awesome seeing you @ her house!!!!! I saw YOUR gorgeous display on her channel 3 mths ago. So glad you have your own channel too. Cheers from Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 I planted Kniphofia (Hot & Cold plus Backdraft from Proven Winners)
I love watching you two together!! Thank you for taking time to film videos together while Kate was down for the Park Winters event (which was awesome!!). I have learned so much from both of you. Hugs Garden Girlfriends!!
Thank you, Garden Friend! Comments like these keep me going… I love sharing knowledge! 💕
@@HelloGarden 🥰
You two girls together, hmmm, trouble. Lucky you don't live near each otherwise nothing would get done in either home. You seem to be in sync and bounce of each other. Love it
Garden friends are true enablers! 😂

Interesting to see two strongly opinionated people on gardens in one place. LOL. Fun and interesting.
And this is another reason I love touring gardens… it’s like getting a sneak peak into the mind and heart of someone else! I love that we all get to choose different garden paths and also, I never know what inspiration may stem from another gardener’s plant choices!
Still amazes me seeing fruit trees in a dry hot garden. So much I need to learn.
I love that her property has an orchard. It’s so special!
“I have so many figs I don’t know what to do with them”.
I have one. One fig. 😂
This comment is making me laugh endlessly! That’s like me up here in Seattle with my mom. We planted a fig and got one. After two years of babying the thing. 🤣
Loved your video with Janie!
I won’t lie… we have a pretty good time. Thanks for coming along!

I love the conversation between you two! I wanted to jump in the conversation every 2 minutes. The orange and purple combo is amazing!!!❤❤❤
The orange and purple next to the orange tree was sooooo good. Loved it!
So jelly (not really) of all the lifetime friends you are meeting! Just shows you made the correct decision when starting RUclips! Bless you, your family and dirty fingernails!
Thank you so much. It’s so true. It’s a really wonderful journey and the people I’m meeting make it so deeply rewarding!
I have carpenter bees ruining the beam at the top of my garage. Of course the bees have chosen to burrow in the wood of my garage instead of the dead tree in my yard.
Only the best. 😖 I’m so sorry!
Great Tour!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🌱 It was so fun to see her space in real life. She’s made incredible progress since purchasing her home.
The Russian Sage behind the Kniphofia is one of my favorites.
It’s such a beautiful plant and a great performer in the garden!
Ahahahaha wine must be involved, hey girl heyyyy!
Or sleep deprivation. 🤣 It was such a fun weekend.
❤❤
💕💕
Kate. Thank you!
You are welcome… and thank you for being here! 💐
Thank you Kate ! 💐💚🙃
You are so welcome! 💕
Love it!!
Thank you!! 🌱
You two ladies are amazing! Thank you Janey for introducing us to Kate. I am a PNW gardener and just love you two. Know say hello to my garden and listen to it! Yes!
YES! I love hearing from all my PNW people. Thank you for being here and supporting us! It’s so meaningful… truly. 🌱
It would be so fun if you two did an event here in the PNW like the one you just did in CA. 🙏🏻❤️🪴👨🌾
Can you imagine?!? I almost wonder if I need to do something with the NW Flower and Garden Festival next year. Hmmmm…
Oh interesting. I didn’t ask! Unfortunately I’m not much help. We don’t have that grass up here.
