Oh Kate, here I am gushing about you again. Please know that you have impacted me and I just appreciate you so much. I have a few top content creators on my favorites tree, but you are the star at the top. That sounds so hokey but I mean it. You are an educational resource, you are entertaining, you are the best kind of unique, you are silly, you are empowering as you come across unafraid, you are vulnerable and a strong human being, you are my chosen family and I feel so lucky to have access to all that you offer and that your investment has also invested in me. My garden is the main component in my healing journey from being exposed to decades of violence - where most of the trauma took place in the garden. It has taken me a few more decades to allow myself to realize that I love being in the garden, it feeds my soul. As I work through discovering myself you have taken me by the hand and shown me the beauty in flowers and plants that I couldn't see before and have challenged my understanding of design concepts to build the most beautiful and peaceful place that could possibly exist. Thank you Kate (and Brian). And your tea is delicious! 😋

I hope you know how special you are. So genuine and warm. Look how far you've come this year with the channel alone and your burgeoning tea business. BTW the friends who received your Solstice tea as gifts this year absolutely love it. There are some great container plant designer vloggers (i.e. Laura @GA, Erin l@ Impatient G) but they have trouble describing their design thought process. You are absolutely the best at explaining your design thought process. I really enjoy visits around Seattle, too.

Unrelated to the video but i think you should try putting your dahlias on heat mats since they thrive in the heat.

Love the fact that you found your blind spot to slow down because that is me…I am exactly the same. I won’t say how many times I have redone my landscape in the 48 years I have lived in my house. I still enjoy growing and giving away all sorts of things from the garden.
