That makes me so happy to hear! 😊 And thanks for being one of my OG people. Also, I live for good design whether it be interiors, fashion or gardens… we’re birds of a feather.
I put “boulder” on my Christmas wish list. My husband had quite a few comments about it. Ha! We collect stones everywhere we go. They add so much to our gardens!
I totally agree, Kate. I have many boulders of all sizes in my landscape as well as a bubble rock here in Indiana. It definitely elevates a common landscape. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄
Thank you for talking about stone. I love it too. I like that you talked about costs also. I am going to look for more ways to use them. I have one boulder which I use in a bed. I love it - I do the grasses or elephant ears behind it to look super.
I would love to have one of the stone birdbaths. I live in very rocky So. Missouri and find many unique stones. My children bring me very lard large stones for presents. I love it
Another idea - gabion walls. We did a 30’ x 3’ retaining wall by hand. The whole project cost us about $3K. I love the contrast of the wall against the green lawn
This is my jam!!! I love natural stone! I usually work with MUCH SMALLER pieces, as I use them to make jewelry - and I often dream of larger pieces of the stones I work with dotting my yard!!!! UGH! One day!!! PS: my favorite stone: Picasso Stone!!!! So dreamy!!!!
I love this content. We have a super modern esthetic. We need to put treads on our seven feet wide paths and our central roundabout. Eee, such good ideas.
I love natural stone. I purchased several small loads of natural stone (that I could haul in my car) from FB Marketplace. I built a small dry-stack stone border wall with those. I also purchased several large boulders from a local landscape company for various flower beds around my home. Nothing was budget-friendly. It was all very expensive. The boulders themselves weren't all that bad, but the cost of delivery? Good grief! Special equipment was needed to load/unload and position them and that really added to the cost.
Oh I totally understand! The delivery costs can be nuts! 😳 That’s why it’s good to capitalize on a project that’s in process to cut down those extra fees.
Love stones in the garden. They add so much character and dimension. Can't wait for the NWFG show in February to see your design!
Squeeee! I’m still working on the design but it’s coming together so nicely!
Stone adds so much to a landscape 💚💚
Love a good rock!
I LOVE LOVE the Basalt Dish 😍 Bubbley of course. 😊
Bubbles forever! 😍
Kate I’ve been here since the beginning and I love design and I love love love how you speak design language!

That is a perfectly reasonable Christmas wish list item. 😆
What a fun field trip for us! We just added flagstone pathway so go along with our new sand finish concrete patio. I love stone too!
Well done! I love adding a splash of natural stone to an otherwise manmade hardscape. 🤩
I love stones since my childhood. So beautiful and just architectural. Love.

Merry Christmas to you, friend! 💕 And I love that you have a little bubbler too!

That is a brilliant combination! We can be so creative with stone and even just the tiniest bit changed the whole feel of a project!
Hi Kate, Beautiful stones and boulders! Adds so much element to a garden for sure!
Thanks so much! I love working with stone. It just brings so much texture and interest.
I love stones and they are gorgeous options 🥰
Thank you friend!
Great video! It is helpful to see the pricing. I installed !8x18 bluestone to pave my patio. The result was amazing.
PERFECT choice. Honestly, injecting even the smallest little bit of natural stone elevates the entire design. Bravo!
Awesome! Im adding some stone to my landscape in the spring thanks to you. Great content!
That's so exciting! I can't wait to see what you come up with. 🤩

That’s so perfect! I’m clearly a rock hound too… it makes such a big difference in the landscape!

Oh I remember you commenting about it before and totally looked it up! The Picasso stone GORG.

Oh my gosh. Stone in a modern aesthetic?!? You have so many choices! I can’t wait to hear what you choose!

“I like that boulder… that’s a nice boulder…”
I’m a rock hound at my core.
That’ll do, Donkey. That’ll do.” 😉
