No, a completely different city and place. Luckily it happened on the ground floor, and outside the street tilted downwards, so we managed to get rid of all the water. It took quite a few minutes before somebody found out how to stop it!: )

I had a stupid accident once with a fork lift truck. I raised it too high and broke a supply pipe for the fire sprinkler system. Jeeezus, that jet of water was huge and SO powerful! The other guys at work made fun of me for that accident for weeks afterwards, hehe. : )

Failure of employers to provide proper training and guidance can result in some unusual behavior in the workplace. Yet, when we see someone working beneath a truck that is jacked up and supported by 2x4's, it makes one wonder what were they thinking.
Had similar mishap with a loader, I thought I had thrown the FEL in float mode but pressure was still engaged so when the bucket hit the shop floor it jacked up the front wheels and the beacon on the cab roof was crushed against a sprinkler line, which burst. Fortunately (sort of) I managed to limit damage to crushed beacon and water damage. Guys thought it was very funny but boss was not so happy.
Someone in the comments said well done to these guys,yeah they all deserve a medal lmfao

they actually show the welding one in my safety classes.
I realize the makeshift scaffold at 1:15 isn't that far off the ground, but one doesn't have to be very high up to suffer a life-changing injury.

God. When I think back upon my teenage years I have to wonder how I made it to 61. I remember using milk crates to hold up a car while I worked under it. Myself and my hot rodding, grease monkey friends (I predate the term motorhead) routinely took our lives in our hands. Surprisingly, most of our losses, 8 altogether, were due to job related or traffic accidents. Only one died from unsafe actions when his car, with his wife pumping the brakes, fell on his head when a floor jack slipped. Another died 2 weeks after taking a ride on the Devil's Slide on the Coast Highway US 1, in CA while riding a low powered motor bike. A third sustained extensive brain trauma after he quarreled with his parents and rode off on a motorcycle. He lost control of the bike crossing rail road tracks and was thrown from the bike into a high curb. The bike followed him and landed on top of him. He was an impressive mechanic before his accident. Now he can barely see someone standing 5 ft away. Such a waste.

1:42 is just plain stupid, I wonder if the guy on the Toyota forklift even escaped from that set-up in one piece...
Failure rate of a forklift isn't any higher than that of a garage lift unless the weight on the fork is over capacity so I don't see how using a forklift to work on a car is any more stupid than lifting a car in a mech shop. Personally I use a tractor FEL to lift my cars but I also use jack stands... just to be sure.
I've had to do all of those things....the only thing killing me was the music but I just turned the volume off

On bags it clearly says this is not a toy. Never did I know they were a face mask. At 0:18. I've thrown away many and needed face protection. I bet if I use duct tape around the bottom it'll protect my neck as well?¿?! Never have a nat fly in my eye again!
What rule is being broken with the guy at 0:41? I don't see anything wrong other than smoking in a non-smoking area, and even then...hell that demo saw makes worse fumes than any cigarette. Hmmmm.....

Safety is never Job #1. If it were nothing would ever get done.
safety is important, regardless of what you say. even you yourself value it. if nothing gets done because of it, then it's the fault of the people who didn't design the jobs to be sufficiently safe for the people doing them. on the reality show deadliest catch, it was bullshit how much safer the captain was than all those others working on the decks. the captain could just stay there in his little enclosed area and stay dry and watch tv while those catching whatever it was they were catching had to constantly worry about slick surfaces and falling overboard. the captain had it way too good compared to all those other people on that ship.

Its called a compilation. Which is very much a thing on RUclips. You cant post images on youtube. Only use them in a video which this person did. Compiling them to make a video out of it.
