Thank you for making this available for us all to watch and enjoy. I love this stuff.
I am a serial buff thank you for such a clear copy! It’s a real treat. Also your gangbusters is as clear as it gets!
The only symptom left from my fading long-haul Covid is fatigue, so here comes a nap wit this wonderful serial! Thanks!
Fantastically sharp print and soundtrack.
Even more so than real life, eh?
Moffett Field (where the dirigible hangar is located).....back when Santa Clara Valley was known for its beautiful orchards and a little kid like me! Thank you for another classic and outstanding serial.
Oh Boy! I'm pretty much snowed in for the next few days. I can really use this! Great timing, thank you!
Brings back those saturday matinee's 25 cents for 4 hours of entertainment. A couple serials and a double feature with cartoons ❤
Thank you for this gem! There are several worthy serials that have not been uploaded on youtube, and this was one of them - now it can be enjoyed and appreciated again. If you have an extensive and shareable library, see if The Mysterious Pilot is one of them, along with
King of The Mounties, which has one of the finest musical scores Republic ever had, using the beautiful 'Maple Leaf Forever' as its title theme music and intermittently through the serial. Thank you!
Thank you, AtomicAgePictures, for this new serial uploaded. I am not American (though I live in the US), and thanks to the channel I can enjoy of this material that, otherwise, I would probably be ignorant about, and I could not get access to it since it is not easily available. Very much appreciated. :D
The island natives running out in the Venture CA fields put a smile on my face..
Haven't those fields been developed by now? I heard that there are now housing tracts, arterial roads, and shopping malls where that open area once was.
Shhhh🙈🙉🙊
Eventually they must be native California's
@@randyhonea3543 NATIVE Californians? Are you kidding? Today California is inundated with illegals moving in to take over. Any 'natives' have since died off or been pushed out.
Every time there's a scene with Noah Beery in it, I look for Jim Rockford.
Always liked Noah Beery, never liked 'Jim Rockford' (James Garner).
How beautiful that people greet each other and show such respect. I want to build a time machine and leave for the 30’s!
Wall Street crash ? Recession ? Cheese lines?
@@f4jet. Can’t be worse than now.
@@Military-Museum-LP The Great Depression ? You think it was not worse then ?
It was horrible.
That was a better time than what we're living in now, and I have talked with older people, years ago, who were there and lived through it. They've said that there was more personal freedom, none of this 'entitlement' talk, and the IRS hadn't yet turned into the monster it is now. Some commented about the Depression, but that affected about 24% of the population; most people survived it, obviously. I would rather live back then, but we would STILL have present-day nightmares to look forward to.
Early Maverick 👌
Noah Beery in Maverick? Aren't you confusing that with The Rockford Files?
A Great Pick ! And A Serial !!
If Anyone Cares The Footage Of Bombing In The Beginning
Was Maybe From General Billy Mitchell's Famous Test Of Air Power Against Invasion Fleets
Annoyed the Navy, They Were Trying For Scientific Testing, Mitchell Went For Dramatic PR Footage And Screwed Up The Value Of The "Experiment"
Seems like the film is from another planet! No sex, no foul language. Plus seeing California like this.
It is Earth!
This was made before the coming of the developers. And the illegals. And the Democrats. And more illegals. And more illegals.
Good to see an early role of Noah Beery. Later n the 1970s he would star with James Garner in "The Rockford Files."
He was more likeable than Garner ever was.
He was also in 'Ace Drummond', a 1936 serial.
Love these old movies that precede Woke Hollywood ....
I know that some of you know that it is impossible to pull the pin of a hand grenade with your teeth.
The world in black and white was way more relaxing 😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣
But THE REAL WORLD has always been in Technicolor.
@@leelarson107 this is what the government aliens and vampires want you to think

Por gentileza gostaria de saber o ano da produção desse seriado. Agradeço.
1935
Fico agradecido pela informação 😃👍
Yes. I wish they would print the year right up front. But, if you can read the roman numerals on the film, it will tell you.

Back in the day a kiss was separate from smooching or making out.
Nazi island? I haven't started watching this but I think the description is a little crazy. It doesn't make sense.
The island is Nazil......its name is evidently meant to conjure images of Brazil.
@@nicolasuribestanko Sounds more like a psychological condition.
Can anyone identify that big car at about 1:32:44 in the film? That's the style I've always liked. 🚙
Go get B
Eh?
Wat year is this

2022, so far
That's considered Classified Information. Trust your government to tell you when THEY think you're entitled to know.
Did people really kiss their mothers like that?
Back in the day a kiss was separate from smooching or making out.
Yeah, but we hardly ever used our tongues.
I never did, and I wouldn't consider kissing any relative like that. 💣 **Well, I naturally would make an exception for my wife.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
@@perniciouspete4986 My wife is glad that I did. And do. And elsewhere besides.
