I always wanted to join the coast guard, 1973 I got lost in Chicago area looking for the recruiter so I joined the usaf. In 1977 when I got out I went to the coast guard recruiter In Naperville, ill; he said sorry we don't take guys from other military services(except navy), so I reelected in the air force. I try to watch or read everything on the uscg now. Glad I found this. Thanks!
I went in the Coast Guard in 1963 and stationed in Seattle, Wash on a 255' Cutter Wachusett W44 then on the Matagorda W373 255' Cutter Sand Island, Hawaii, a lot of good men and shipmates aboard these ships and all the rest down to this day doing their jobs from busting drug runners to saving distress ships large or small and their crews to open up ice frozen sea lines in Alaska ever winter season even serving on cutters sent during the Vietnam War and other wars since 1790
God bless Coast Guard in America/Canada and our Life Guard Service in UK . So many lives saved !. This series full of models being blown up , great fight scenes and unintentional great plots was fabulous . Modern stuff is garbage in comparison . 😢 Thanks playmates. Welsh Dave
Always depend on an old Harley Davidson to get up a hill climb, love the time when i rode my 62 Panhead back in 1975, thanks Classic Hollywood for down loading this Coast Guard movie CG is in to anything
Richard Alexander was actually a pretty good actor. Watch him in "All Quiet On The Western Front" or "Docks Of New York". Small parts, but he was good. Because of his size and build he could only get parts like this one or as bad guys in B westerns.

Caribou hi. Cars are V8 sidevalve Ford's. 40s/50s they were contributed to film makers by Ford. Advertising !. Regards. Welsh Dave.

The movie was good but ending always short with poor writing just when his slave got him with his own gas that was perfect.
So dark hard to follow
