Just an observation: in the beginning scene, when Father and Daughter are looking from the window, I’m struck by the similarity of their profiles. I’m always interested in Casting choices; sometimes Those on-charge are able to choose Actors who, not only can Act, but also who resemble Each-other, as Family. Thank-You for uploading such wonderful old films; I love the content of Your channel!
An interesting serial that can be read on many levels...I found it interesting how POP incorporated newsreel footage from the 2nd Sino War between China and Japan. There's some footage leftover footage from Universal's cult jungle adventure East of Borneo (1931) too. Though I dont care for Evalyn Knapp's nasally Missouri twang, she's a spunky and engaging heroine nonetheless. John Davidson is a perfectly smarmy Asiatic villain, a role frequently played in the Silent Era too.

Aspect ratio is so bad it's unwatchable.
The most boring serial I have watched, so far. Inferior to every other serial, Republic, Universe, etc.
