I know on one of our tractors you have to push the pro lever really far to engage it and when he pulled it back to disengage it I’m sure he did not pull it back all the way therefore it snapped foward again turning itself back on. 🤷🏽♂️
This is my advise if you have new place make sure to get a priest to make pray there cause anywhere you go there live a sprit and there family and can't see them. Most of accident is caused by them
First one: after healing from a broken leg, climbed a tree to cut a huge branch with a terrible saw. The normal method of sawing wouldnt work so he inprovised and the log broke where they didnt expect and rolled onto the recently healed leg. Luckly they had a cell phone

Never work on an engine while its running.
Would I be amiss to say that turning the machine off whenever you dismount for whatever reason is a good idea? It can't grab you if it's not running.
I worked in an industrial enviorment and same with Farming. Very dangerous never take chances. SAFTY FIRST.
Never Trust machinery. Shut off or lock out and tag out before. Maintinence

That was God after that prayer helping you . i been there wrap around a pto shaft on tractor .
Used to be common to see farmers missing fingers hands feet
i broke 4 fingers in a tractor fan blade almost cut them all the way off

I'm not a farmer but if the tractor is in park and the pto is disabled you should turn the tractor off and disconect the battery
