JHarold Haha that's very true. my dad is turning 50 and it seems like such a long time but at the same time he still has a lot of time left.
I'm 58 and my fiancee' (55) makes me feel and "perform" like a 17 year old. I'm still building rock walls for fun on the weekends, still shovel show off a 100 foot driveway, still split my own firewood. I reckon I'm in better shape that a lot of lads 1/3rd my age whose only exercise is a Xbox.

And even though you don’t have Strummer (RIP), Topper And Simonon bouncing around on the stage and a stadium full of people, he still looks like he feels that he’s playing for a whole stadium. @Noble Failures he wasn't technically skilled, but where his talent came from was the ability to use the skill he had to write some of the most legendary music of the second half of the 20th century.

As I've gotten older I've really grown to appreciate Mick's contribution to The Clash more and more. My younger self gravitated towards the angst and weird mystique of Joe, but now I can really appreciate Mick's awesome ability to put together an instantly infectious tune. This and "Train in Vain" are up there with my all time favourites.

So awesome. As a guitarist whose had a strap break on him live (before discovering strap locks), it's so impressive to see him never break a sweat, keep that game face on, and smile through the rest of the song. I LOVE the Clash. I got to see them (post-Mick so not the same) and I would have given anything to see Mick live, especially this close like that. Lucky crowd!
