For me I feel like something is just wrong with my brain. I don’t even have panic attacks anymore I just feel scared and confused all the time. One of the worst things is not even knowing what I’m feeling and I can’t explain it or put it into words. Almost like I’ve lost my ability to notice what’s happening idk so hard to explain it’s frustrating

I have felt that way. It is your fight/flight response constantly being on. Always on high alert and warning you of danger. You have to not respond to it so it will learn there is no threat. It can also be very exhausting and when you are exhausted you see things more negative and fall for the lies your anxiety is telling you. You are safe. There is no threat. You have to tell it that. The Anxiety lies to you and makes your thoughts negative. Don't fall for it and don't react to it. It takes practice.

Sounds like me. Like the anxiety and the panic isn't there anymore but the symptoms are. Very slight ear ringing, derealization/depersonalization, slightly lightheaded and just sometimes very dream state-ish. Apparently that's normal in the recovery process but it def sucks.

Oh my gosh I’m in the same exact position. No more panic attacks, I just exeprience confusion and derealization. I can’t break out of it even though I’ve been accepting it for a very like time

Anxiety is more dynamic then that, it's not black and white. What's important is that after you've been cleared by your doc, you put ALL the symptoms under the anxiety umbrella, even the strange non-specific symptoms.

Funny, I used to watched videos online and skim through them to find an answer. I've been relaxing my body, blocking my intrusive thoughts, doing things slowly and I've felt a sense of panic just fade away. However, the derealisation is still there. I guess I need my body to get used to the fact that it's not in danger anymore. There is still hope. I was stuck at the what if stage for years, and I feel I've finally crossed that bridge.

First: I'm not in the mentorship but I always watch your videos. And this video is exactly what I needed today. Thank you so much, Shaan! 2,5 years ago I had massive DPDR and I was so agoraphobic that I couldn't leave the house. Now I'm able to go out to any place I want, I was even traveling and I'm working again. The DPDR is totally gone and last year my Agoraphobia went away for good. But still there are these stubborn headaches that just won't leave me. And yes: I often try to speed it up because I'm losing patience and I often think: Is this normal? Shouldn't it be already gone? But this is exactly what's keeping me in the cycle. I really love your videos and I really appreciate that you are brave enough to tell the truth even though it's not the public opinion. So many people told me that I should meditate or do yoga in order to get better but it always made me feel worse because I was using it as a technique to fight my symptoms. Why do so many people still recommend coping strategies or meditation as a tool against anxiety? And why do so many people still think that they can't recover because of trauma? Thank you so much for clearing up those myths!!! :-)
To all the others in here: Don't lose hope, trust in Shaan and relax! :)

Funny thing about this anxiety everyone went to the doctor just to be told you are okay. Last year I was undergoing rough times, and when I feel sick I could rush to the hospital and tell him I have cancer, and so much stress thinking of the future until I got panic attack may, and I have lost lots of weight and the doctor would just tell me you are underweight being given vitamins. Didn't what's was wrong with me and there is something on my throat keeps on disturbing me. Felt all the symptoms that people are commenting here but after watching shaan video and praying to God some of the symptoms are going away the only thing remaining is I feel like am fainting, something stuck on my throat and loss of appetite

I am at the point of recovery but I don't want to recover..I want to re store. I'm going deeper. I purposely trigger a stress response to my mind and body setting off alarms ⏰️ and the right responses to recalibrate a deeper baseline. Huge benefits! You can use ice baths and cold plunges to trigger a stress response and with the methods I learned to recover from anxiety I put them into use to go deeper. It's magical. I never get sick anymore. I'm bulletproof and thriving!

Simple but not easy solution: really love yourself and your anxiety. If you really feel love for yourself and all of your flaws (including mental), your healing will start.

      Example plz

    • @mirovinac3968
      @mirovinac3968 9 месяцев назад

@@zay2x22 If you are anxious, just sit somewhere quiet (near the water and trees), relax and slowly breath (longer exhales), close your eyes, put your hand on your heart and with sincere thinking say I LOVE YOU. Repeat it like mantra (you can quietly sing it or hum if you want). With all your good and bad sides, you are my sunshine, you are my love. Hug yourself in your mind and literally, let all thoughts and feelings, all anxiety if there is, do not fight it, let it be and just let all be and pass. Enjoy and embrace yourself, your whole body, because you are one of a kind in whole universe. We all are part of much bigger universe but again, unique. Hug yourself, even your anxiety, love every atom in your body and soul and be grateful for life experience. With practice, few times and you'll see how things are changing toward happyness and calmness.

It seems to get worse with each round that I deal with.
I travel in a motorhome full time. But I’m agoraphobic to IT. 🤣
Each time I push myself, my breathing gets crazy and erratic , which makes me white out and sit down…. Then the heart palps come and it’s intense, short bursts of arrhythmias.
How do I get through this? I went from being room bound to walking through Walmart alone and beginning to drive the freeway again….
    To, panicking standing outside.
I’ve had my heart checked. All is fine. Although my BP gets really high with panic attacks which is also what sets me back or freaks me out.
