“Thank you” doesn’t begin to describe it. Your channel is like medicine to me. Especially Daniel’s story of what happened before his CFS kicked in has an almost eerie overlap with my story. Thank you!

Damir, I'm so moved to hear the channel has impacted you in this way! Knowing these stories provide comfort and hope makes my long work hours incredibly worthwhile. Thank you so much! ❤️
Daniel's journey is so insightful, isn't it? I'm so glad it deeply resonated with you and that you found it useful. While not all recovery stories will strike a chord, finding one that aligns with your experience can be extremely empowering. 💪 🌟 Much love and plenty of brighter days ahead!

@@RaelanAgle definitely hit the bullseye for me with this one! Daniel seems very accepting of his limitations, especially at his lowes point when he stopped working altogether. Seems like money isn't a major worry for him, or he comes across that way. I'd be curious to ask him, for the rest of us who have bills to pay, how he'd manage being dealt a hand of cards where he wouldn't be able to go fly to a tropical place without income coming in?
Reason I ask is because I've spent some of the best years of my life in the tropics and would be keen to head out again, but first working on my ability to work some 15h per week. Currently sitting at 10h per week.
Does he live frugally? Is there so much money in the bank that he's set for life? I understand it's a bit of a sensitive topic, but finances are a huge factor in recovery. Rather the stress of finances and worrying about if there will be enough money coming in.
I'm personally in an okayish situation, but there may be listeners from parts of the world where social security doesn't even exist, nor universal healthcare, so I'd be curious to hear what he would have to say on that topic. What if we didn't have the position of privilege we're in?
And the answer may be "I don't know what I'd do", and that's fine.

I have recovered about 80 % from this illness. I just started looking at other peoples stories. I would love to share mine. Most of the things that i did were instinctual and others fueled by the knowledge i had about the power of the mind, my faith in a higher power and faith in myself as well, better nutrition ect. I have severe childhood trauma and i have come to learn that is also a factor. I am on a mission to help others and continue to learn more. We are the self healers 💙 much love and much encouragement to those currently suffering with this debilitating illness. You CAN get better, yes you can.

Irene lyon the trauma specialist talks about titration , processing trauma in a regulated way , gradually. Trapped trauma is definitely part of the puzzle. This is a kind of spiritual breakthrough that started daniel's recovery. Dan neuffer said often people who recover reach a lowest point before breakthrough. Fantastic guy, so pleased for him and wish him all the best.

Hats off to you both, it’s a pity that some others who have suffered and recovered, and appeared for free on Raelens show ,then on that premise ,start there own recovery programmes, for ridiculous prices .I.e Jason ! Dan Nueffer’s price is fair, for the broke suffering, cfs health prices are a complete rip off, but raelen and Daniel, you both come from such a deep ,loving place.!Thank you both for your love, and the example you set!!

When I watch your videos I look for guidance and ideas and today I received a confirmation to an insight that has been forming inside my head through meditation: that I have to let go of the old me and of everything I thought I needed to be. This is so difficult but listenig to Daniel it seems to be the only way to really get better. Thank you so much for the work you do, Realan. Please take good care of yourself. I think he is referring to a distinction of a flowing mind vs a busy mind. I agree that thought is always on as long you are alive, conscious or unconsciously, but in finding out that you are not in control of that, and there is nothing for you to do about what thought is arising is where I find freedom.

    • @DD-wv3pf
      @DD-wv3pf 3 года назад +2

Initially it's difficult to be thought-free, or even have lesser thoughts. Rather, the contrary. That is, in the initial stages of meditation thoughts will rush into the mind like a train.
The idea is to not get worried. Just let it happen. Just keep doing the meditation everyday. On a given day, if it becomes too overwhelming, sure you can stop meditating and take a break .. maybe just relax, listen to a song, sit in the garden, or whatever. Just take it easy :-)
But make sure to come back to the meditation the next day again. And keep doing it daily.
      With time, you'll learn :-)

    • @DD-wv3pf
      @DD-wv3pf 3 года назад

Go for easy meditations in the beginning. With time they are sure to work, if done regularly.

8:00 - 8:32 this is happening to me!! The brain fog, forgetting how to get home, not able to work fulk time anymore, or if I do, I then have to call in 2-3 days the next week while I do nothing but sleep!
My doc sent me to a neurologist to see if I had a stroke because my left eye and cheek droop, but they found nothing.
They sent me to some specialist that checked my memory and IQ, they said I was normal and suspected severe depression...
I absolutely do have bouts of depression, but it's typically brought on Because I'm so tired and can't aeem to get anything done...
Surprisingly, I too tried ecstasy in my late 20's. I took it a handful of times over a year. I've heard that's a no-no. But I sure didn't hear that back then.
I'm now 40 and I really really struggle. I have to work, having 4 kids at home.
But I can't do anything strenuous, and even though I don't- I pretty much sleep my life away when I'm not at work!
My husband is the one who told me about CFS. Do I juat go to my doc and say "I think I have chronic fatigue syndrome?"

Very cool stuff, thanks for sharing guys! Certainly differences in personality between Daniel and I, but I also tended towards the extreme, always trying to do more, going through really, really intense workouts, and after a few years of several attempts of life to wake me up (very challenging events and trauma), I eventually needed something more severe...and for me, the drugs worked a little too good haha. And then I even needed some more pain to eventually "get it" - that I have a mission here, a life to live, gifts that I have to share with the world. I only had the experience of not being able to open my eyes or move or speak twice, but that's certainly a hell of an experience. Still at a pretty bad state and recovering. Just got out of alcohol and cigarette abuse and moderately severe depression. Working on my mental-emotional-spiritual health and my gut while sticking to a healthy and helpful lifestyle for most days, and am very hopeful.
Crazy how much he offers for free on the website, definitely going to invest some time there. This is probably the 3rd or 4th person/resource I see where great and thorough information is shared in a structured way and for free. Love that, very greatful!

I'm a bit confused when he says he purposely brought on crashes, and then he wanted to do speed skating but it would take him 5 years to get back to that? Have I misunderstood that? Has he reached 100% recovery, where he can exercise and do all of the things that are easy pre-illness?

The lakes are frozen once every 5 years on average. I don't see recovery in percentages anymore. If I maintain the level of joy in combination with healthy habits, I can do a lot. If I have stress and an emotionally hard period, I can expect symptoms. This means I'm not afraid any longer, but I see symptoms as feedback. In a relapse, the Stress of the symptoms decreases my immune system and things can go downhill again. It feels like a constant journey of self awareness to me. My stress ability grows, but is not endless.

No one should get vaccinated. They can cause major harm, and NONE are effective in the first place as they're based on disproven/unscientific theories. It always surprises me to come across so many long time sufferers who never researched vaccines, and still get yearly flu shots etc (and the covid ones are far worse).
It was one of the first things I learnt about when I got sick, and I will never get jabbed again.
There's a few great books called Dissolving Illusions, Virus Mania, The Contagion Myth that will explain why vaccines don't work.

It would seem, all of the individuals who’ve developed ME/CFS, after acquiring COVID, just have to work on their negative-thinking.

15:53 „I’ve learned to live without thoughts because it wasn‘t useful“. I can totally relate to this and think it is key advice when trying to recover from ME/ CFS. Just surrendering to whatever appears in consciousness and not engaging with it at all. If there is a piercing headache, so what, I will not comment or get worried about it. Just let it be and accept it. Once we stop caring about the pain and don’t identify with it, we’re not afraid anymore, which will reduce any stress on the nervous system. Eventually the nervous system will stop triggering immune responses because it will realize there is no danger, no threat to us. Really great interview, thank you both 🙏

I have been diagnosed with me/cfs in January this year after 10 years of suffering and no help. I'm so new to the recovery and just today thought I'll have a look what's out there on RUclips. I came across two videos which one was incredibly vague story and promoting someone's miraculous program, another one was promoting cooking book of someone that has recovered by healthy eating and third was this video. I'm yet to discover what this channel is to offer but I soaked every word Daniel was saying and your questions were spot on. At no point I felt like this could be a rehearsed conversation or, that anyone was trying to sell me something. Daniel has said few interesting things which I have already thought myself like I possibly was already on the way to develope cfs when I was a child. Those thoughts came through my head a while ago. There is so much for me to discover but I truly hope that those who say I can't recover after such long time and should get myself disabled badge for my car, are wrong.

Thank you both so much for this interview, it really spoke to me as I've found emotional healing to be the main aspect of my healing journey so far. I've realised it helps for me to think of myself as a piece of clay on a pottery wheel (bare with me here 😂). If the clay is not centred, it wobbles. When you try to build it up, it will get more and more unsteady until it collapses. This is how I felt before I got sick. I was always off centre, trying to please other people rather than myself, with other people's expectations pulling me in different directions and causing my emotions and health to be all over the place. I can now feel myself becoming more and more centred, being content with who I am in this moment. The more centred I become, the easier it is to stay steady and peaceful as I build myself up

This I feels implies it's a mental issue when I know for a fact this is a physical ailment at least in my case since my spirit and attitude is intact but my body physically can't do the chores at the level I did before which makes it extremely hard. I divide my task but it's just reduces quality . If I had money I could delegate those task & then that would help. However since don't got money often during flare up mask quality living very difficult. I do what I got to do but it's not a cure. The only support in my case is physical help to do my chores to help get it to more manageable. Talk alone would not really be as helpful. I am glad that this helps other who really need the mental aspect but in my case Covid robbed my body ability to do my task & the real help I would need is physical. It's extremely hard to trying to catch up constantly. It hard living just to do task that before could take me 2 hours max now takes me weeks . Sitting talking about it in my case would not help as much as some one physical help.

The reasons for onset will be different.
    So will be the symptoms.
There is no need to disagree or challenge one's journey or story, if I may humbly request.
Listening to more and more recovery-stories like this will give more insights into possible triggers and symptoms.
More importantly, a list of 'To Dos' can be put together, and one can experiment from those and find out what works for him.
It is clear that solutions will also vary from person to person. In such a situation, having more options is definitely a good idea!

LDN works. It's just used wrong by most. Many doctors don't give the correct instructions on how to use it. Dosage is different for everyone. Start low & slow- take before bed. Get it from a compounding pharmacy that was approved by Dr. Bihari. Preservative free is preferred. Too much & too strong will cause terrible nightmares & side effects.
