I have a setback right know, when i almost fell asleep and me to i dont judge, tommorow is a new beautiful day be grateful that you live. And this stupid anxiety does not kill us
Same here. I’ve been fantastic for several months now and kinda hit a wall the last two weeks. It’s all the emotional aspect of things right now, not physical anymore. I gotta learn to respond to the mental like I do the physical.
@@Joey007ist u took the thoughts right out of my head....it's not physical really anymore. It's the feelings and emotions and up and downs now that are causing Anxiety. I start to wonder.. Great, now what? Why am I waking up like worried and depressed? Why am I waking up not happy like last week..why this why that. Why am I thinking like this...why, this isn't like me? It's ALL ANXIETY . I have to remember. Crazy thoughts and worry isn't me.
@@liztowers2058 bingo. Ultimately the key is to focus on response. It coming up isn’t the issue, how we respond is what becomes the issue. A lot of the time the issue is our fear of anxiety itself. It’s a problem we’ve created
That's exactly where I'm at. The physical symptoms don't bother me at all now, It's the anxiety itself I've become fearful of. The fear of physical symptoms felt like i was losing my body where as the fear of anxiety feels like I'm losing my mind. I think of it as progression of recovery though, and am slowly gaining better perspective and confidence
It seems to be in these phases: 1) I have relapse symptoms and they worry me. 2) I have them but I just go on anyway with the day. I just don't worry. 3) Symptoms fade.
I always wondered if I was in a setback or not. Not that it should matter but it helps to know you’re on the right track. I was almost 6 weeks without any anxiety or symptoms when one morning I got hit with a wave of panic. It was like someone hit a reset button and I was starting recovery over again, except it was slightly more manageable. I want to point out that setbacks are also not a day or two. They last a while just like you’re initial recovery progress. I feel like I’m just now getting through my first setback and it has been just over a month since it started. I think of it like restarting my recovery again in order to practice my response so I never ever fall back in
I have experienced the worst setback of all. As i was progressing,i was extremely sensitised again. I felt like i was back to square one, slowly i realised the worst setback occurs just before complete recovery and now am responding the way i was doing and getting better and better, setbacks once occurs,it is much easier to loose t he sensitisation sooner ☺️ 👍look at it as opportunity, you are going to be there i promise you.
