the calories might seem kinda high if you're the type who wants to have it as a side w/say steak or chicken but you could totally split it.
250 calories of these noodles would be a great replacement for a cup of rice. For just 20 or so more calories, you get 15 grams of protein along w/your steak or chicken breast.

Wow Cole thank you for this video. It made me really think about something’s. I’m a Empath as well and it’s hard for me to recognize which emotions are actually my own. Sometimes I get confused and I’m like wait I’m a happy person why is this heavy sadness hitting me. The area I live in isn’t really safe and there are a lot of desperate sad people. So I’m probably picking up on that. I’ve used that though for something positive that I can use in my life to make it better. It has made me a stronger more resilience person. I no longer feel like ignorant about certain things. I love also what you said towards the end of the video. Taking ourselves way too seriously. I have a issue with that and I’m gonna work on that. You made a lot of good points. I subbed and liked this, good information thanks again.

Some people use the whole “you’re being too sensitive” as a way to not take responsibility. I believe, as a man with responsibilities, people look to you for strength. If you're having emotional breakdowns in stressful situations, you'll not only be useless but you may also make the problems worse. That doesn't mean to not have emotions. I believe it means to feel, recognize, experience emotions, but to not let them interfere with your mission. If people are relying on you and you show weakness, they'll feel like all is lost. If you feel terrified or hurt but keep a brave face, those around you will feel strength as well. If you go into a job interview and let your nervousness overtake, you'll lose the opportunity. There's plenty of time to sort through emotions after the battle (the battle being any stressful situation). During the conflict, appear as stone. Put on your poker face and play your hand the best you can

Great video Cole! I also think's important to know that sensitivity can also be a sensory trait. I was incredibly sensitive growing up. Large groups and eating in public overstimulated me. I was overly aware of everything going on in a social setting. There is a book called The Highly Sensitive Person which changed my life. People with Sensory processing sensitivity (SPS) may be more prone to negative feedback and criticisms. But when people say "You're so sensitive" I say is that a problem? It actually can be a desirable personality trait. The problem is we don't know how to cope with being sensitive, so it turn can lead to anxiety, neurotic behaviour, seeking approval etc. HSP's can thrive in life if they know how to harness their trait.

Maybe this is the reason why I am acting like this even nowadays, I never learned how to control my emotions and family and friends just said something like "don't cry" and that's it, telling me to suck it up...

Hey Cole I can relate with you on soo many levels. Being an empath is something that I have had for soo long and it’s great to see you have the confidence to share you wisdom about it. I had that effect me and to some degree still does over 3 decades into the game and something like you I had to find out on my own. You are an absolute legend and soo inspirational. knowing there are people like you on the planet makes me feel like I’m not completely bonkers. Keep up the great effort brother you are a champion 😀😀😀😀 one of the biggest fears I have is not knowing how to start and getting overwhelmed that it’s too late to and feeling like I’m too old and the worst part is the more I worry the more time passes☹️ but I think you have lit a lightbulb in my head and gave me so much inspiration luv ya work so much and never stop sharing you story the world needs it 😀😀😀😀

The Highly Sensitive Person (TM) validation industry encourages us to identify ourselves as a type, a category. They tell us flattering things like "your sensitivity is a superpower!" I don't agree. I consider my sensitivity a disability. Accepting that I have an emotional disability has helped me to manage and work around it better.

Great video. Being highly sensitive, I think I have been taking this identity super seriously. I kinda realized though how I have become too attached to studying this part of my life. Even if I don’t feel like not researching, I realized I need to focus on who I am rather than my sensitivity. So thank you

I had to avoid people and focus on my goals now they are always trying to hang with me and they stopped being mean to me just because my life is on track, I just don't get people and I will not change my personality just to fit in with them. You guys are always talking about "you gotta stop being nice", well I was born this way and im not feelna change for anyone

There is nothing wrong with hating drama, or conflict or not wanting to hurt people. i'm a very sensitive boy but i do like feedback. I love being sensitive. i just think people need more sonder. I feel there is a difference if you get disrespected by a random person or a loved one. I don't take offense if someone makes remarks about me, i confront them. The problem is, when a loved one does it I get super sensitive. It feels like betrayal of some sorts and my response is then all over the place. Trying to act like it was a random person conflicts with my wiring somehow and I can't switch.

I think that this video is spot on with his solution to not being too sensitive. I was really sensitive back in high school and it just got clearer to me now, like right-in-your-face realization that I was sensitive. I would always think about my sensitivity and would beat myself up for it because I would always get hurt or feel slighted by the actions and words of other people.
Thinking about it, when other people put us down, accepting ourselves and recognizing our power over ourselves and our reactions is a really empowering way to handle this.
Lastly, it will still sting or hurt, but like anything with practice, we can be more thick-skinned.
    Thank you Cole, blessing!

I love the example at 9:56 , its funny yet true at the same time, and that "like what??" At the end is the perfect reaction, us as humans really dont make any sense in what we do something but thats just one of our flaws that we have a hard time excepting because we take ourselves to seriously

Being a male empath when young is the toughest, as most guys don’t develop much empathy/sensitivity until much later on in life. It’s all about being the toughest, best, biggest, fastest, most dominate etc.
With age, non-empaths slow down, their egos deflate, they get less competitive, they learn to become more empathic whilst sensitive empaths learn to not care as much and stop taking everything too seriously, so it balances out.

bro i can relate. my views on this world are bit different than rest of the people, and i still haven't found a community where i can find people who can share same view as me. ik this zooms into comfort zone but idc. I’m also starting to think i don’t belong in this world which is full of controversy. like everyone has different view than me and i don't belong here.
if you are wondering about my view, they are bit socially left and progressive but not too FALGSC. i hate transphobia, sexism (both towards men and particularly women), racism, etc. i am not lgbt or feminist. i think not hating lgbt people, working women, colored people, etc is common sense and not politics. but the world either gets too incel or too tanky. i also acknowledge how underpowered men are in law systems like criminal justice, SA, child testimony.
i recently watched dr shaym video about 36 questions for men, i agreed with most takes but disagreed on few, the one that were blatant dog whistle or avoiding question or not taking account of real world scenario. also it gave off too much incel and hate vibe. again not a feminist or mens right activist.
i just wanted to drop things off my chest and express some feeling as i have been not going out or meeting anyone for few days because of exam prep. i know i gave off loner vibe lol. i am not here to start a political discussion

I remember this young girl that was very hateful. She was a cousin of one of my best friends, and it appeared that she really enjoyed seeing me embarrassed, humiliated, uncomfortable, etc. What was disturbing to me is one time when she was being humiliated, I felt uncomfortable being around that situation because I can sense her pain. I was always perplexed by this! How is it that she took joy in seeing others being put down or brought down, when for me, it was painful to see anybody being abused. The few times people ask me why I tend to be introverted, I have no problem letting them know that I generally do not like people and their nature.

I've found myself to be sensitive about animal abuse. That shit pisses me off, raises my blood pressure. Hurting kids and animals just annoy me way too much and this world is full of it. No wonder people who are into activism turn bitter by constantly witnessing the state of the world.
I find no solution to it, its way to bad and disgusting and upsetting. It hovers in my mind. Kids being beaten and r* to Dogs being run over and boiled, cows being skinned alive to kittens being stepped on, humans keep doing it.
