“A boy can dream, and that’s what this channel is all about.” So true! Brickey is unmatched in his ability to dream-cast. Also true!

best disney content
Your camera work continues to delight. This video is very easy on the eyes and the content is a lot of fun to think about. 🤘
It's so interesting to see Disney from the outside, I don't know anyone else who does this at this time. I love how Disney pays so much attention to sight-lines.
Just head 10 miles north to LA habra heights. Go up to top and one can see in a clear day Catalina Island a d queen Mary in long beach
That is absolutely correct!! No body does or out researches the history! Bringing a different narrative to what is, was, and what will be. Many try, and it's funny to see others try and bring the same story. Brickey is one of the best storytellers and the absolutely hardest working youtuber who brings the magic to the happiest place on earth!
Disney hasn't cared about sight-lines since the creation of California Adventure PERIOD
If Sacramento raised its entire downtown and river front in the 1860’s, can Disneyland ever raise the castle?
Lol, Sacto is so particular. Nice not to often flood, for example. Love old sac for it’s historic sites.
For Disneyland, they should not touch Sleeping Beauty Castle, but I'm all for a Frontierland expansion or some type of expansion of Adventureland which haven't got a transformation in decades, most likely Tomorrowland or Fantasyland will get it nevertheless.
Fire mountain somehow?
@@RakoonCDSome type of Volcano in Adventureland to compliment Indiana Jones Adventure would be incredible. It would be visible in the park but its position would be out of the sightlines of guests entering the park. Maybe it could hold an Expedition Everest style ride, Kali River equivalent or some type of coaster. If they did want to use IP, Moana could easily be melded into the new mountain. Imagine a mountain for all the lands united. Splash/Tiana, Big Thunder, Matterhorn, Space, and Moana/Tropical. I love Adventureland and this could even allow for an in park Polynesian Resort for Disneyland Park if a hotel were incorporated into the structure, almost like the River Expedition was intended for WDW.
Yep, Fire Mountain is absolutely the concept! See, it's so good an idea that I've never heard of it before you said it but thought it should exist anyway 😂.
You’re 100% right on icons and in Washington, I always know where I’m going because of Mount Rainier. I may not be able to see it but I know it’s there!
What's confused me about this news though - haven't Imagineers already said that they keep everything under 200 feet to avoid the lights needed by FAA laws? And the zoning regulations won't override those, those will still be required
I think there’s creative workarounds. For example a huge Wakanda tower could have lights on top and it would enrich the story.
I still wish some version of westcot would have been built. But Disneyland forward should be amazing.
Best way to start the day!
About time Disney goes big.
I remember they wanted to build a 300 ft tall Spacestation Earth for WestCot. I hope they open a third gate on the Toy Story lot.
What term did Walt use For finding something?
It might have been “Disney weenie”
🌭
Me too
Pretty sure the term he’s referring to is “weenie”. It’s what draws you further into each area ie the Castle
Awesome video man, you have been crushing it with interesting topics
I recall my parents pointing out the Matterhorn from I-5 every time we visited Southern California. It’s gotten quite obscured now but I still point it out to my kids. It’s nice to have something visible from the outside even though the hotels are getting crazy big.
Latest content is crushing it. Great work
I'll just say that I think it's possible for a park Icon to also be a hotel, which I think would be very helpful in the forward area.
I’m excited for the return of the 360 rendered icons! With high rise hotels popping up all around the resort, it’s been harder and harder to spot the Matterhorn from around Orange County like you used to. The new icons will help to bring the excitement of seeing the parks from a distance. And I agree on Radiator Springs Racers and the back of Galaxy’s Edge. The unfinished buildings are off putting and take away from the magic. Thanks for the video, Brickey!
Another great video Brickey. It's so fun to dream about the possibilities coming with Disneyland forward. Still hoping for a peoplemover or skyline to get folks to the 3rd gate at Toy Story.
Yeah, if they brought the Submarine voyage back so can the skyway and peoplemover.
It’s such fun to think about❣️
Hi Brickey, Disneyland Forward has a lot of potential options in developing a unique addition for guests to enjoy! We have watched several vlogs from different friends and each of them have their own ideas. We are excited to see what will actually happen in the next few years! ❤ Life After Seventy ❤ from Anaheim.
I am SO curious what Disneyland will look like in 20 years or so. Disneyland Forward? Tomorrowland? New gates and lands? Very likely I won’t be around in 20 years, but interesting to think about.
I love these videos! I get so exhausted seeing negativity, cynicism, and doom and gloom all the time on RUclips (including Disney content). So it’s nice to have content that is forward thinking, aspirational, and positive. ❤
I've been to Toronto and went to the "top" of the CN tower. Exhilarating! Have family in Hamilton. ❤ Thank you for another great episode!
hopefully Radiator Springs will be finished on the back side, beyond the bandaid that was done
We need a bigger tower like terror that is now guardians of the galaxy. 300 ft tall attraction. We need a mega tree like at animal kingdom. Disney needs to think big attractions.
Do you think Disney will try to buy the Anaheim Islander and The Hyatt House near the Toy Story Parking lot or just put show buildings to block the views from those hotels. What a way to start my Saturday morning, thanks for your effort.
Another great video - another Saturday treat. 😉I love the park icons. I’m pretty good with navigating directions where I live, but lose track of what is north, west , south when in Anaheim. Great talk about icons and sight lines. 🎉
Holy 360 degrees rendered Brickey! This video has me hyped for the future of the happiest place on earth. Thanks for doing the research and sharing it with us all. B you are on a roll! Keep the content flowing.
Thematic icons!… Great insight…. As a newcomer to DL 20 years ago, I often headed in the wrong direction because the lands are hidden…😝💞
The video I was waiting for right after the share holders meeting bringing Avatar announcement
The Disneyland Railroad and the Red Car Trolley would be beneficial in assisting guests to get to the expansion areas.
(North and South of the current hotels)
Honestly, I think radiator springs racers are the only thing that look bad from the backside
Galaxy’s edge doesn’t look great either
These thumbnails are on point
If the Toy Story lot becomes a third gate, is it likely that bridges would be built to allow guest to walk back and forth?
Very curious what a third gate would be called.
It's happening!
Great content as always!
Really enjoy your videos, keep them coming.
You have such amazing insights!! Have you ever discussed where you learned your design sense? (Disney should hire you…)
So cool to see ❤
I'm so excited for Disneyland Forward to change the skyline! It's going to be so much fun!
Great video! Great coverage of what Disney could be building. Idk if I’m ready for a building that tall in Anaheim, but I wonder how many of those will be hotels ? Can you imagine a water slide from the top of a 300’ hotel ?! Do they dare build another Castle ? Keep up the good work!
Hopefully Disneyland forward doesn’t mess too much with the charm of DL resort. They’ve totally decimated sight lines in EPCOT and mangled the lagoon in front of MK.
The Space Needle? That is in Seattle. Toronto has the CN Tower. Yes, there is a difference.
The CN Tower, which is also known as the “space needle” in Toronto, is both a national icon and an engineering wonder. One of Toronto's undisputed must-see spots, The CN Tower is more than just a tall space needle in Toronto.
Would need to go under Disneyland Dr, so since they’re down low, keep it low(lots of dirt to move) and put something tall that won’t go much higher than the iconic biggies.
I’m loving this type of discussion. Further on from this will be, for me, the type of transport that will need to be part of the park. In Disneyland we have the railroad that can transport to various parts of the park. The vintage transport in Main Street and of course the monorail that provides entry from the outside into the park. DCA has the red trolley car. Will we see an extension to the monorail? In my mind a transport system or systems will be essential in an expanded resort footprint.
inb4 the new 200+' tall building is the new parking structure (with a facade on the freeway-facing side)
1. Avatar-It’s not going to Disney Forward
A. Encanto
B. Moana
C. Elementals/ Little mermaid(looking for the paperwork)
2. It’s planned to go into DCA .
Soaring & Grizzly run/Red Creek area, it’s a matter of when
End of summer 2025 after all current construction are done
Another Disneyland hotel in goofy parking lot
One of the best Disneylsnd vloggers
Disneyland was there first, you can't allow people who moved into the area to demand Disney can't do something with their property. If the neighbors don't like it, they should move.
There are plenty of people who have lived in Anaheim for generations. Anaheim needs residents who live and work in harmony with the amusement park industry which means Disney needs to be creative and make compromises.
Nah we hate you guys
Im ready for the updates, its about time, especially since WDW keeps expanding. Sucks that all of the properties surrounding DLand are owned by city and greedy hoteliers monetizing off Disney.
It’s a symbiotic relationship. More accommodations provide more people to vacation at Disneyland. And ultimately, forces Disney to somewhat keep their hotel prices in check.
I hope the 3rd gate isn’t called IP City.
#DontDissTheWeenie
5:32 anyone know the term he's referring to? I'm curious
Walt used to call it a Weenie.
Weenie 🌭
Walt would call park icons “wienies”
If i remember correctly Previous Disneyland resort regulations already gave Disney the right to build structures that tall. This new proposal most likely included i to the request so that they can have the leverage of building tall structures without surpassing the regulations.
I doubt they will ever build something that tall without getting blow back from anaheim residents
Will the hotels be treated like a neighborhood residence with the stair stepping or will the become boxed in by canyons?
Hey brickey, someone is posting your youtube stuff on tik tok
I’m aware. Thanks.
What's wrong with "weenie?" 🤣
I HATE that term 😂
I know when Bob steps down this will all change again.
Build a taller castle!
Here's another idea.....USE A F@@KIN' MAP!!!
What's the context of this comment? Curious.
Just no Avatar please
As a resident in the area and worker at disney we hate disney adults , we hate the traffic and how tourist drive , oh and they def traffic kids there
So you knowingly work at a place that “traffic kids” Dude turn yourself in.
@@HeyBrickey along with the rest of this administration yes
Sorry but Disneyland Forward won't happen and Disneyland needs to stop thinking of expanding and building new things. The park was finished with Indiana Jones in 1995. I have plans to take over Disney and make it great again by keeping it stuck in the 20th century and asking "What would Walt do?" like management did after his death. Mark my words, for Disneyland's centennial in 2055 it will look like it did between 1967 and 1995 when it was at its best.
It’s lame that you’re not allowed to walk under the Millennium Falcon. It’s completely a missed opportunity. Smugglers Run was awful too. Oh well. I’m not excited about Disneyland Forward. More like Disneyland Backwards. I have never seen plans where complete videos are trying to explain what Disney is proposing. They’re not doing anything. All blue sky in a gray sky.
Smugglers Run is fine.
@DrMonkey1224 nope, it's terrible. A bit better than Web Slingers at DCA but still terrible.
@@24ecko it’s fun.
