@@tazwarhossain5283 what works better in Euro 3 - 5 engines? 0W30 is better because it flows faster during cold. modern engines use even thinner 0w20 oil. oil must flow fast but retains its lubricating properties at high temperature. the adage that old engines require "thicker" oil is simply flawed. oil must flow fast to protect engine parts.
Thought that ester oil is the besr engine oil as it doesn’t break down, stable molecules, provide good solvency, and provide very good low-temperature and high-temperature performance in engine oils. Eg mobil and chemlube
Ron 100 is a waste of money. just Ron 95 is good enough. use good synthetic engine oil with frequent change interval for maximum performance and protection. i use castrol edge 0w30
You will appreciate it if you are having 12:1 compression ratio and revving to 9,000 rpm : RON100 helps to prevent your pistons from leaving the block. I have a car that requires RON98. If RON100 is not available, I pump 97, and keep the revs below 5,000.
YS Khong Driving I used petronas 97 for my alfa. And I reved to redline 7200 all the time in sepang and daily driving. It loved it. The car feels lighter and more fuel saving subsequently. And the oil I used Castrol edge full synthetic 0w40. And I clocked 144000km in 4 years. There is no necessity to use ron100. Even for my bmw m42 engine I also used 95 and 97 and I revved hard all the time to 6200 with mobil1 or Castrol edge. Absolutely no problem for the engine. How do I know? When mechanic opened up to check, he got a shock. How can an old engine look so good in condition. Piston crowns totally dry and no carbon deposits. Liners and piston walls and bearings all okay. I have pictures to prove. Many good synthetic engine oils can handle high temperatures. Anyway, I’ve played with all kinds of oil. I just don’t buy some of the hype of marketing by companies.
I have been running on the mobil 1 OW-40 full synthetic gold for the last 4 years, can't be happier!!!
Yup, that's a great oil.
switch to 0w30. better!
@@selespeed3 that's a good oil too but wouldn't call it better and since I live in Bangladesh it works better with euro 3 to euro 5 compatible engines

Lovely and informative. Nice one YS

They belong to the same group of synthetic oils - Poly AlphaOlefins
I don't know which one to choose.. Shirly or Jenice :)
Yalor, so stressful
High performance engine needs high quality fully synthetic oil. The question is - Do we need Ron 100?
I do, hahhaha
@@YSKhongDriving which vehicle of yours use Ron 100?
Kinda, because some engine has high compression ratio, the higher the octane, the more power it gets
Petron blaze racing b830, fit to the xpander?
I think it needs 95 RON.
Any review for AMS oil signature series and their XL oil?
Not in the plans as yet
Can I also use blaze racing to my scooter?
Not too sure. Some scooters are two strokers and need 2T oil.
@@YSKhongDriving thanks for the reponse! Mine is a 4stroke scooter. I did put it in. Hope it will not kill my MC.
Exactly same as Mobil 1
Possibly cheaper. I am paying more than RM300+ for my oils now, so this one is worth trying.
Heyy YS Khong can you drive Kia rondo pls . Is quite old but is a nice car for me ,I hope you can try it . Is a 2.0 frontwheel drive car
I know the car, launched many years ago. I tested it and wrote an article, but no video. I don't think I can get one now; so sorry.
