Whoever's mom this is, is sooooo lucky to be eating her food everyday but then again we are also so lucky she is sharing her recipes with us. I made her Japchae recipe the other week and my family was obsessed with it. I'm not Asian and I was afraid to attempt it but she did the recipe ingredients and proportions perfectly and it tasted just like the restaurant. My husband is Chinese and loves Korean food and he loved the japchae. I feel happy watching her and she seems so nice. I'm so glad I found her!
this lady is a seasoned pro. been making her stuff for years from her website. on point, sensible and PERFECT recipes, no one can come close. you are all in for a treat.
Thank you so much for these videos! I'm Native American and my husband is a regular white guy, but his aunt is Korean (She lives several states over or I would watch and help her cook to learn... she was happy to tell me how she made her kimchi when I asked). He grew up eating her cooking so I've been learning a few dishes. My husband is so happy to have a little taste of home. He says the taste is right and like he remembers. I'm so happy!!
I really like your approach! You do make a difference to the other formats! You are not yet another Korean cooking RUclips show but you add to the good ones! Happy I found you!
Thank you very much for your knowledge of a simple Korean Side Dish. I love watching your cooking. I am going to make this spinach side dish and thank you again, and more to learn from you.
I've been making this recipe from your site for years! It's great to see you making all the variations. I was able to visit Korea in 2003 and I am still in love. I have to adapt recipes because I am gluten free and do not eat meat, but there is a small Korean grocery store not too far away that I can get ingredients from. Please keep making videos. You are fantastic!
OMG, I tried dish #1 because I had the ingredients and let me tell you, it was delicious, sorry, I meant DELICIOUS!! I wish to try the others, however, I will have to make a variation of those staple ingredients. I love Asian food, the seasonings and spices use. Thank you for a wonderful twist on plain spinach.
Fantastic I really love spinach and those different tastes, I got the sesame oil today and had already one side dish and it yummy 😀 thanks for sharing your taste!! 🌹
I am from China. I enjoy watching your video. Thank you so much for your sharing. I hope I can make such wonderful video for all chinese dishes. But unfortunately can't.
I've watched about a dozen of your videos tonight and they are virtually perfect but the music is distracting. I much prefer videos with no music. I hope you know I think you do really good work, and appreciate the effort you've put in. 🌼💕
Soup soy sauce (called guk ganjang 국간장, or Joseon ganjang 조선간장) is Korean traditional soy sauce which is made as a byproduct of doenjang (Korean fermented soybean paste). As the name suggests, it's most commonly used in soups and stews, but also used to season vegetables. Compared to regular types of soy sauce, it's lighter in color but much saltier and has a strong, unique flavor. It's an absolute staple in Korean cooking!
It's a side dish to a Korean meal, which typically include rice, some sort of soup, stew and other main and side dishes. you can eat room temperature or cold.
Looks delicious all three. I do have all the ingredients and need to just get the fresh spinach. Just a friendly note- the background was overpowering and was a bit harder to hear your talking !!
I love her & her recipes, but the music in the video is way too loud. I'm trying to hear her pronunciation of the ingredients & can't hear her over the music. I love Korea & truly enjoyed performing in Chuncheon years ago. Wish I could hear her better.
Sorry about that! This is one of the very first few videos. We've improved the sound in later videos. Hope you check them out. Oh glad to hear you had a chance to visit Chucheon. It's one of my favorite destination when I go to Korea.

I've watched about a dozen of your videos tonight and they are virtually perfect but the music is distracting. I much prefer videos with no music. I hope you know I think you do really good work, and appreciate the effort you've put in. 🌼💕

Hi... I'm from Kerala, India. I made this😋
Great! Thank you so much for trying it.
Hi, miss you!
Hello! What’s the difference between soup soy sauce and regular soy sauce?
Soup soy sauce (called guk ganjang 국간장, or Joseon ganjang 조선간장) is Korean traditional soy sauce which is made as a byproduct of doenjang (Korean fermented soybean paste). As the name suggests, it's most commonly used in soups and stews, but also used to season vegetables. How many days we can store these in fridge
It'll be best if eaten within 3 to 4 days.
How many days can this be stored?
Sorry I missed your question. Up to 4 days! Thank you!
Can it be freezed?
oh sorry I missed your question until now. I wouldn't recommend freezing. It will change the texture and lose freshness.
What do you eat it with? Do you heat it up? If you store it
It's a side dish to a Korean meal, which typically include rice, some sort of soup, stew and other main and side dishes. you can eat room temperature or cold.
I would love more of these vegan friendly recipes (in video format bc I'm a dumbass lol) pls 😊💕
I'll be doing more videos for sure! Thank you!

Who is Al dente??
I love her & her recipes, but the music in the video is way too loud. I'm trying to hear her pronunciation of the ingredients & can't hear her over the music. I love Korea & truly enjoyed performing in Chuncheon years ago. Wish I could hear her better.
