What an awesome, awesome car! I know this is one of your older videos, but I'm watching it to re-live your excitement, because I just got a 2018 R/T Scat Pack Shaker in Octane Red with 4,400 miles. I drove 700 miles from Tennessee to Trenton, NJ to buy this car. I've owned it one week now, and I still can't believe this car is sitting in my garage. Absolutely the most exciting car I have ever driven.

Just got MY Challenger RT Scat Pack two weeks ago. I love it. If you are thinking of purchasing one DO IT !! I’ve wanted one since 1975 The only thing I will have to get over is no spare tire. You get an air pump and a can of goooo Amazon can fix you up with a tire kit and jack. The dealers can also if you want one.

Bought it!! You just can't appreciate the color until you see it in person. Hey, I filled up with regular gas, use cruise control, went the speed limit (gasp) and got 28.5 mpg!! Enjoy!!
Congrats, real nice! The break in period is for the rear mostly. Due to it being a manual, I would take it easy on her. Otherwise, the annoying "rear end whine" may show up.

Congrats bud welcome to the mopar fam. My grandfather just bought a left over 2017 a couple months ago. It's red with the leather, trunk stripe, and automatic. It also has the dynamics package which includes the hellcat brakes and wheels :) We got a 10k discount.
Joeysixtysix yeah it definetly helps. Better grip while accelerating and better braking. But don't worry about it. The scat pack is still reallly good the way it is.

Hey, it's been so cool keeping up with you from the first video you made when you ordered her. I actually seen a few other of your early videos (you shaving your head...you shaving your beard...A baby blue Gremlin) and I must say that those old videos, are kind of like listening to any of the albums Pantera released prior to "Cowboys From Hell". Brutal! (If you haven't a clue do an "Early Pantera" search here in RUclips) Seriously, I'm so happy for you and your girlfriend. I know you're in love now, but the best part, that love just doesn't go away! My wife just walked by asking "Did he pick up his car?" Show it to her and she loves it! She say's "Congratulations!" I actually owned a vinyl copy of Pantera's 'Projects in The Jungle' in the early 80's. Yes, totally different animal lol. I'm a big Metal fan and I was a vocalist in a thrash metal band that released one album way back in the day. Thank you so much for your kind comments!

My brother got smacked in the head by a drumstick Lars threw into the crown. Cut his forehead, I picked up the stick and awarded it to him. Kind of a purple metal heart. Love 'em! Still love my 70's bands too...Scorpions, UFO, Van Halen, AC/DC, Boston, and of course Sabbath. I went to school but dropped out before I got my communications degree. I grew up loving Top 40 radio, especially those fast talking DJs and remember the very first song that hooked me, "Sherry" from the Four Seasons played on KYA in San Francisco. LOL! Yeah, too much information. So, you gonna give up the name of your band? Maybe I can track it down on Amazon.

She loves driving it! It actually gets better MPG than I thought it would. High 20s highway and mid teens around town. Of course it's hard to resist having a little fun which brings those numbers down quite bit.
Do you remember what date you ordered your Scat and what is the manufactured date. Look on the drivers side door, there's a tag, look for MFG date, it will look something like this 082512. Thanks.

Yes, mine has the Scat Pack animation. I think you have to have the Scat Pack appearance group to have the animation or get the Tazer thing and you can put it on there. I thought the 2018s had one touch up windows but mine does not. The wording on the 2018 Challenger fact sheet is kind of confusing as to whether or not its has them.
Ordered our Scat Pack on 7/10 and received it on 9/16. They didn't begin production on 2018s until July 24th or 25th so a couple of those weeks the factory wasn't even up building them yet. If the dealer gave you a VIN # or VON # you can go to the live chat on Dodge.com for updates on your car or call 1-855-778-8326
now that is a proper car! congratulations you guys. there is just no way around American Muscle in terms of looks, power, performance and of course sound. and the overall appeal is hard to match. (oh, and get rid of the prius !) :)

other than the backup screen and battery issue have you had any other issues with the vehicle?
No other issues other than neighbors complaining that it's too loud lol.
