hahaha
Thank you for the easy tip. Just a quick note, you say measure a 1/4th an inch but the video shows you measuring 1/2 an inch. Still works just the same though.
I was going to say the same thing I was stumped about that for a second
Ty I was stuck too 😂
i swear i was stuck lmao
@@water5118 I am still stuck

Just so people are aware, she says to measure 1/4 inch, but actually measures a 1/2 inch strip. I’ve done both measurements and they come out differently. So actually measure your finger with 1/2 inch, because that’s what she’s doing in the video.
That's pretty much irrelevant...as it was the width...not the length..its the length that matters (or so I've been told)
😮
Thanks I was confused
Simple, easy, direct ... Love it
Direct and to the point:) Great video.Thank you!
@@TheDrahcir93 it just makes it easier to see the overlap. Video magic.
To the point? They don't even start explaining until half the way through the video..

THANK YOU
Short Sweet and to the point. Keep it up!
Thanks! Great video.
If you affix a small piece of cellotape to the end, it holds it in place on the finger, which makes measuring much easier.
Great little video. Informative and done precise and without wasting the time of viewers
Super easy and super convenient

Quick and simple 👍
what size do you have to print then size chart?
I’ve seen a lot of things saying that the ring size needs to be big enough so that it can be able to get over the knuckle or the ring won’t be able to get on. Should I do a size bigger so that it can be put on?
No the ring will fit
If your size 6 gets a 6.5 or 7 get a .5 up or just a full size bigger or get the exact size if you think your fingers aren’t going to grow much later on
Nothing to do with your question but I love ur pfp
hy Kanye
I would say it depends how prominent your knuckles are. My mom has bony fingers and has to size up so it goes over her knuckles, but I have chubby fingers and the base of my fingers is the widest point
As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I felt so dumb, like wow, that is so perfect and simple. Thank you for this. ❤️
Where do I get a sizing chart? And how do I know what chart is best
did this and had to return my ring because it was too big. thanks.
Thanks ❤
What if my finger is 3.4cm? What ring size is that, am a bit confused

How to know my carrier ring size
Thank you. I watched several much longer and more complicated videos and then yours. And I have to say that I am so grateful for your simple and convenient technique. Thanks.
Glad you found it useful!
Cool thanks ☺.
do you musure is inches?
Would it be more accurate to measure your joint of the finger if you have a skinier hand?
also wondering this
wat iuf it is 78mm? is it just size 17??
Did this exactly as described. I’m a finish carpenter so I made sure I did it correctly.
The circumference of the largest knuckle on my finger is 2-3/4 inches. This corresponds to a size 13.
I ordered a ring in size 13 and it’s enormous. Won’t even fit my big toe!
What am I doing wrong?😳🤷🏻♂️
Your not doing anything wrong, i want to say that it’s the size chart,
Yeah I looked at like 4 different charts…all said I was size 13🤦🏻♂️🙄
same happened to me, everything said i have size 11,the ring ended up being gigantic
@@aapelikananena9699
What the hell is wrong with us?!?! 🤷🏻♂️
Haha, I'm SO glad to see someone else having issues with this too, so I'm not alone!! Why why why are we NOT doing this correctly?! When I do this technique, it says I am a size 11ish! Ha no way! Normally, I wear between 7-9 (usually 8)...so I'll pass on buying any rings that are size 11. If you figure out what we are doing wrong, please reply to this and let me know!! Thank you!!
From which beginning?
This has helped immeasurably ♥️

lol you said measure 1/4in wide... but you're actually marking 1/2in wide
Not that it really makes a difference in the results.
Just thought it to be noteworthy as my piece of paper came out much thinner when following the instructions :)
Thanks for that
Thanks I thought I was losing it until I saw this comment
how did you know to go straight to 9.5 tho?
You're using ruler measurements in Centimeters and your chart shown is in Millimeters?
I can't find the sizing chart on your website...
Hi Sandrine, thanks for letting us know please visit this link for the sizing chart quickjewelryrepairs.com/articles/ring-sizing-made-easy/
I need help I’m 56 mm but idk which one is closer 7.5 or 8
size 8!
Hi. If my ring size says 5.5 cm, what does that translate to please?
my pinky says 6 cm, theres no way its a 9.5 right? I dont get what im doing wrong
I’m having the same problem! It says mine is 65 cm and a size 11 which would fall off of my fingers!
@@ObeyDaqSwaqq Thats MM not CM 💛
65mm in circumference hun. Which means around the finger instead of across. Just take that measurement of 65mm circumference and find the diameter. A lot of sizing charts use diameter instead of circumference. (Their measurements usually stop at about 26mm if they're probably using diameter) Look up the difference between circumference and diameter.
P. S. 65cm and 65mm are two different measurements. 65 centimeters is waaaaay too big.
Hope this helps
I used a measuring tape and according to this video id have a size 14 for my middle finger, but other rings i have are size 8 and fit my ring finger perfect. Im very confused.
where tf do i get the chart thing, i cant find it.
Can I use this method to measure something else?
Finally a useful tip.
I just have one question although this video is old, i hope you write me back.i did exactly as you said and got 6.9 cm which is 2.71 inch.
So the question is which one would fit better considering taking off and putting on the ring? Z? Or Z1?🧐🤔
if you're 7cm then your ring size is a 9.

how much does the paper have to overlap?

How I get the chsrt
ok ok, but what about cm?
or just use a key chain ring . works everytime
Umm, I did everything she said and I got 3.5 inches. The highest number on the chart is 2.75. What do I do?
Well i gave a like anyway for helping with the technique but the sizing chart only goes up too 69mm but my fingers are 76mm :(
What size did you come up with. I'm a 74cm and size chart don't go that high.
So 6cm is size 9?
i don't see my number on the sizing chart. mine is 87 mm
@Disappointed Reality Convert to what. My says 60mm but some charts go to only 22.8mm. There is now way I'm a size 13.5. My wedding set is a 4.5.
@@homemakingwisdomthis fn video is crap
im so confused. i measure 2.5 inches, 63.5mm and i got size 11 on your chart? but im pretty sure my real size is 6.5-7 in real life. these ring charts are not accurate
I’m also confused. I measure 2.9 inches around so am I supposed to order a size 13 or 14 ring? Seems big
@@TCY-jn9nw i would just go to zales or a local jeweler. i did that and got a size 7 1/4 instead and its the right size
@@corsicanlulu i got 65 mm, does that mean i need a 7.5 ring?

if the strip measures 6cm until it lines up, what size would it be?
Size 7
Where can I download the ring sizing chart?

Mine is 3inches what do I do😅
Hi, can I know 5cm is what ring size? I cannot find my size based on the chart. Please advise. Thanks.
5 cm is 50 mm, so find a chart that uses circumference as a measurement and find one that matches with 50mm.
Note: if the chart only goes up to about 26mm it's probably using diameter instead of circumference. So if that's the case just find out the diameter of whatever amount of mm you measured around your finger.
For example: After measuring around my finger mine was 6.5cm which is 65mm. This is the circumference ⭕ So just look up the diameter for it if you don't want to use a different chart or if a certain company you like doesn't use circumference in their sizing chart
How is it 9.5? I'm confused 😮😢
Is this US or UK ring sizing? The woman in the video’s English but the website’s American?
Your chart has mm and inch and I’m confused I’m 62 mm but 2.14 inches and they are two completely different sizes
I think the inch is in diameter and the mm is in circumference
no 2.14 inches = 62 mm , but you need to find this info on the chart and the ither number would be your ring size
danke
But it can be 20.5 how you came to know 9.5 is the correct size
Does this work for men too? I get 3 inches (76.2 mm) for my index finger, and that is nowhere near anything on your chart....
This is not accurate. I'm currently wearing a ring that's size 3.75 and it's loose. I measured 3 times and the chart is telling me i'm a size 4
The ring size chart doesn't go high enough for my fiance 🙁
I’m still 6.3 and I don’t see my size.......
😂
The bone on my finger is wider than the actual part where the ring sits? So what should I get
u are not made to wear rings then
I would still suggest the closest size to the bone so it can be snug, it can get on through the bone but enough to hold the ring in place.
@@fahimmuhtadi8896 made me sad. Still gonna try tho
