I collect a lot of rings, and I've been wearing them for years just because I like the look of them. At first, I only wore rings without gems, but I've been getting more and more rings with gems in the last year since I've started developing an attraction to them. For me, I normally wear only one ring on my right pointer finger, and most rings that I wear are around 8mm wide. I like that width the best, but I do have a few wider and a few thinner ones, but I never go below 6mm. As for the metal type, I stick almost exclusively to silver and white gold. I have very white skin, blue eyes, and dark hair, so those colors just match the best. I have some yellow gold pieces too, but they hardly get worn because they don't match anything I wear or my skintone.

I'm less confident about having a mixed metal ring among them, or wearing more than one stone adorned ring when the stones are of different colors.

My right index finger is slightly damn chunkier then my left index finger and if wear my ring that’s a permanent ring my friend and it’s pissing my off because I’m right hand dominant so my watch already looks trash from wearing it on my right hand because of scratches so I changed it so left and now my ring is on my left index but I wish I could change it to my right index

In my case, I have to disagree (at least as an exception) on opposing metal colors. In my case, one ring is yellow gold with clear diamonds, and the other ring is silver with yellow citrine, so they balance out imo. Plus I have a couple bracelets, one is silver ss with diamonds, the other is silver ss with diamonds and yellow gold. I usually wear both bracelets on my right and a nice big silver watch on my left. And a yellow gold necklace.
