I normally use 8-strand braided line, either Suffix 832, Berkley x9 or Spectra Powerpro Super8, depending what's on sale. About a year ago I bought a 1000yd spool of Reaction x8 20lbs braid, as it was at a really good price. Aside from a little fading and not being as quiet as the other brands, the line was pretty good. You tested the 4-carrier line. You may want to try the x8 variant.

That's weird I have been using reaction tackle braid exclusively for the past couple years and I never had this issue.
And I've never tried anything under 30 lb test because I go after giant River fish like flathead catfish, gar, and sturgeon.
But I even got my uncle on it too and he hasn't had an issue either so this is really weird because he's a bass fisherman so he actually does use lighter line I really don't know what to make of this video.

30lb braid wow I honestly had no idea it was that bad. I use alot of braid ( suffix, spider wire, power pro, and j braid) no issues with any of these. All comparable in strength and life longevity. That crap sucks.

@chrisford736 I've got some 50-pound spider that refuses to break! Lol

Maybe you just got a bad batch or a really old batch because I've never had a problem with their braided line personally and I've been using it for the past couple years catching giant river monsters over 100 lbs.

Sorry, Son. You got to be the guinea pig. Won't buy that again! Great test.

@@LetsGoFishing-u1ythe odds are pretty likely actually because I've caught fish up to 100 lbs on this same braid

@@LetsGoFishing-u1yyeah I have tested it myself over the course of a couple years and it shouldn't be breaking at 16 bro that's a bad spool you got.
