"Great producer like me", You serious Bruhh!! 😂. Also, the amount of people using FL lately has proved that it is so much user friendly and makes producing a piece of cake for most people. But production in itself isn't easy it requires theory and practical learning.
Music producer is like a director of a film. He chooses who is going to star in the film (the rapper,) chooses any supporting roles needed (hook/features,) decides who is going to write the score (the beat maker,) hires the film crew (recording engineer,) and decides the material of the film working with a script writer (content of the song.) Most importantly they ensure all aspects of the film/song work together harmoniously.

I use Logic but I will say this. A listener is not gonna care what you use for sounds. You can use a chalkboard and nails, and if you make it sound good, no one is gonna care that you use a chalkboard and nails to make a banger

Khaled speaks like he Produced a Pink Floyd album when all he did is just produced some, musically speaking, very basic hip-hop/rap songs. Back in the days you had to get yourself a bunch of expensive physical peripheral. Nowadays all these physical peripherals can be simulated in a little laptop (the accessibility is the reason why there is way more producers now) and the thing is that you still need the knowledge to make them work so no, you don't just "tell the computer what to program". oh yeah and I forgot......you can always plug in a microphones to capture REAL high quality sounds to put in your songs

@@JewelzUFO Nice. I play all my melodies and use piano roll for inverting and reversing, all that other stuff. Often I turn the metronome on and start playing a melody and if something sticks I dump the score log to the piano roll and make changes where nneeded. Helpful if you forget to hit record lmao
it’s actually an engineering tip he is speaking on having the ears to recognize sounds as not original recordings let alone if someone was a dedicated enough to their craft individual to go get their own sound library entirely on their own by recording everything with the right microphones from scratch and making samples themself. That is what he is talking about. NOBODY is doing this, too expensive, ppl love to cheap out, but also everybody is lazy.
@dylantucker43 That has nothing to do with whether or not you use FL or Logic. You can record sounds into those. Also people like the sounds of synthesizers, not everyone has access to expensive instruments which is not "cheaping out" if you literally don't have the money, and soft synths can sound really good. Plus he called the sounds "fake" but if you get a high quality recording of an acoustic instrument from a library do you really think it's going to sound fake just because of where you got it? How can you possibly tell it's not an original recording if you have no idea what means a person has to record and if the recording from the library is already good? I'm all for making your own recordings, it means no one else will be using it, you can have more control over the way it sounds, and it can be very satisfying. However that doesn't make the recordings you get from a library bad. Some of them are, some of them aren't, and you can still do sound selection in that context.

Fuck logic lol
Fl is better
@@zzzjmlboth are better but fl is more easy
Fool is such a narcissist that he failed to realize that the production method has changed as to technology changing....easy or not, if you produce trash...it's trash. Has nothing to do with the DAW you use, has to do with talent, a great hook, etc. Of course it will become easier, technology is like that.
"Great producer like me", You serious Bruhh!! 😂. Also, the amount of people using FL lately has proved that it is so much user friendly and makes producing a piece of cake for most people. But production in itself isn't easy it requires theory and practical learning.
"easy to learn, hard to master." don't think he's ever heard of that term.
Bro could not hop on fl studio and make a beat that sounds good
bro plays the piano on live with it turned off
Nah he plays a great air piano.

"tell the computer what to program", that's all you need to know.
Bro talking about ai 🤣🤣
It does not. Since he is not a producer.
Man is claiming to make beats without a DAW or any plugins when doesn’t play any instruments. Also rip his pancreas
"RIP his pancreas" ... I'm DONE!!! 😭😭😭
It took me over 13yrs to learn "music engineering" from scratch using FL Studio 🎙️. It's too easy for someone with the knowledge already,... Learning is a process without a teacher, I am a self maid "Beat Maker". One day I will become a producer of Music 🎶🙏🏾 Slow motion is better than no motion
I'm sure you're a good maid
me 15 years and also being a sound designer
my brother about 23 years for this stuff ngl no cap
When he said "great producers like me" he's taking about body size 😂😂😂😂
I use Logic but I will say this. A listener is not gonna care what you use for sounds. You can use a chalkboard and nails, and if you make it sound good, no one is gonna care that you use a chalkboard and nails to make a banger
Thank you for reminding me
I prefer logic, ableton, and Fl Studio
Reading between the lines, the man's actually mad about how easily accessible music production is. He's mad that it's spawning a lot more producers, which in turn creates more competition for people like him
On point
They made alarm clocks and loud noises to wake people up but it’s too easy it takes a great insomniac like me to just stay awake
Biggest industry hack ever.
This is where connections get you. Unfortunately, real talent doesn’t matter.
If that's the case how come yall are always wrong everytime?
Unique talent still exists and never died plus hating on something for no reason doesn't equal no talent you're trend hopping like everyone else.
@@forgotten.mystery.no dudes just a talentless hack. Simple as that
Literally all this man did was make phone calls to hot artists and say come get on this track that somebody else made so then we can make a music video and I can be loud as hell and all in the way for no good reason whatsoever lol
Ats exactly what he does.
Little boy was quite great he had lived here once I wish him the best wherever he went he used to make analogue music with a voice changer.
It takes a great engineer like me to first code the DAW from scratch using x86 assembly
Weak, I make beats with Multics on a late 60’s Honeywell mainframe.
Im dead bro 😂
He’s probably worried that producing music is so accessible and easier for the masses now even grade school kids are producing better music than some of them studio guys are!
*Its Called “Too Easy”* 😂😂😂
My man Khalid has yet to come out with something that I genuinely enjoyed musically wise
was looking for this comment
It takes a great producer like him to just yell DJ KHALED on every track and make no other contribution and still take the credit
this guy sits in the studio and basks in the glory of his client's skill
Saw a video of him making a beat in his studio, how he can say anyone’s sounds are garbage is beyond me at this stage.
He doesn't even make music😂😂😂
He legit had to stop himself from saying "to tell everyone else what to make so I can shout my tag over it"
Khaled speaks like he Produced a Pink Floyd album when all he did is just produced some, musically speaking, very basic hip-hop/rap songs.
I use both analog and digital aka hybrid woking tbh no cap
but yeah you can get high quality sounds if you know what to do. ngl I'm a sound designer so yeah
The most underrated comment on here 😊

@im_2edgy fr dude like am literally a sound designer here that makes music for 15 years, I can 10000% say it not easy
Lil bro stuck on Cubase 5💀
"producer" had a different meaning than what it does today.
There is no "better way" to make music. Played 7 instruments throughout the years and fl studio has been the most challenging instrument ever. Still learning daily, 10 years later.
Bro I have Logic and every day I find something new. DAWS is the instrument that you'll find hard to master
@crypto_TSH 100% agree. Adding in hardware is where I find more natural sounding sounds.
But I went many years just clicking the notes in the piano roll though 😅
@@JewelzUFO Nice. I play all my melodies and use piano roll for inverting and reversing, all that other stuff. Often I turn the metronome on and start playing a melody and if something sticks I dump the score log to the piano roll and make changes where nneeded. Helpful if you forget to hit record lmao
I still can’t get over how he got one of Bob Marley’s guitars as a gift
The industry is fake
Yeah That's a very Sad Waste by the person who is responsible for that.
Bro, no one has ever said, that new dj Khaled is fire.
“A great producer like me” LMAOOOOO

It takes a great producer like him to yell “DJ Khaled we the best” on a record every two minutes 😂😂
bruh it’s like a handicapped basketball player telling me that I’m bad cause I use arms 😂
He’s probably the same guy who says pro tools is the industry standard
People rarely use stock sounds On FL there’s plenty of drum kits and vst’s that’s affordable for some solid sounds
Bro talking about sound selection like it’s some sort of magical skill
it’s actually an engineering tip he is speaking on having the ears to recognize sounds as not original recordings let alone if someone was a dedicated enough to their craft individual to go get their own sound library entirely on their own by recording everything with the right microphones from scratch and making samples themself. That is what he is talking about. NOBODY is doing this, too expensive, ppl love to cheap out, but also everybody is lazy.
Sound selection comes after you do all the work I was just talking about but if you wanna stay lazy don’t take my advice.
Dj Khalid thinks fruity loops is a food🤡🤡🤡
that's evil
This is clearly an old video but Khaled's view even then was clearly out of touch. Telling the computer what to program? has he ever used FL Studio?
As if 100% of this guy’s records weren’t made in a DAW by the producers
He is the opposite of what people think a producer . He is hypocrite . Talking bout we tell the computer what to program . Dude you literally hire musicians and they make the music , loop that ! Pull up a drum loop , beat done . 🤣🙏
*Hire
This dude has no room to talk, he’s a copy and paste artist
You know what's called "too easy"? Telling someone ELSE to make the beats for you. At least they took the time to learn a program.
Says the man who buys beats made in FL studio and records vocals over it in pro tools
All bro does is yell on the records 😂
He's basically explaining how Quincy Jones make music.
Quincy Jones and Khaled shouldn’t be in the same sentence really.
The same sounds he calls garbage are in 99% Of all the tracks he produces
I heard we taking over the other day. I never realized how trash that beat was
Yea "great producer like me" 😭 hilarious bro

You know that will never happen...
It has the same arguement of "When I was your age I use to walk 300kms to school".
Like yeah we get it, you had it harder. Doesnt mean its worse now that innovation and technology has improved 😅
I agree fl studio and good plugins made us lazy but I would be happy if somebody who made a good beat would say it not someone who is totally talentless .this guy hasn't made a beat in 10 years. It's sad a talentless guy like him make more money than good artists
