- This is the 2019 Fiat 500 Lounge! Is it the BEST budget compact car?
The 500 Lounge comes with an upgraded interior that features leather trim and hard plastic accents. It comes with a 5-inch UConnect infotainment system, a sunroof, and a customize-able digital gauge cluster. The interior has plenty of personality and Italian flair, but lacks build quality and general features.
Under the hood, the 2019 500 is powered by a 1.4-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine, which produces 135 horsepower for the 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. On the exterior, the 500 has halogen headlamps and 16-inch wheels, plus an available Urbana Apearance Package that adds dark chrome accents.

I love my 2019 500 Lounge Turbo. When traveling long distances, the back seat folds down with no issue for large suitcases. Mine is White with White Wheels. Hauls ass when needed, and living in Los Angeles, easy drive through traffic and parking. Purchased mine in 2020, and the last gas engine available in L.A. off the showroom floor, with the extra packages for maintenance, on the road @ $26,500. Very classy.

"Bigger and more reliable over at toyota an nissan" I beg to differ... the 6 speed aisin transmission in these things is stellar as well as the multiair engine has proven itself of being an extremely reliable little bugger considering its awesome torque output being turbocharged.

A car like this works best in places like Europe and South America where the term "city car" has a different meaning. I live in Ecuador and people don't really respect traffic laws all that much, usually a very narrow two lane street has three or four rows of cars so a small car like this can be very useful. Also, parking spaces, for the most part, are not usually clearly marked, you pretty much park where you can. My point being, in America, this car's practicality might be underrated. BTW, my congratulations to the host, most people that age that are on youtube are a disgrace
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! It's very true, most roads here in the US are huge so small cars like this aren't nearly as popular as they could be.

No you are thinking of the 500X or the 500L which are totally different (and bigger) cars.
