  • Fiat's employees have partied hard in 2017, celebrating 60 years since the first 500 was born. As 2017 was coming to an end, we thought it would be good to have our own celebration. Just without the champagne... We were driving, obviously.

Such a lovely and honest review of a beloved icon! I have a 2017 Fiat Pop and it's a absolute joy to drive.

Have the 2019 500 lounge with the 1.2 engine, it’s a great lil car and I love it but with the engine, not got that much go, you still got to rev it that little bit extra to get your speed out of it, especially going uphill, and the city/sport button I agree makes all the difference with the steering and throttle

A 2-Cylinder 870cc Engine making over 100 Horses is just amazing!

Who'd have thought a two-cylinder would make so much?

I have a Panda, the slightly more practical version, but yes the 500 is a good shape - particularly when the roof colour is contrasted with the bodywork. I should have replaced it years ago, but there is just something about Fiats gets under your skin .....

Panda is a cool little car! How long have you had yours? Blue is a favourite for the 500.

I bought my 53 plate 1.1 in 2009, on 40,000 (I've added another 40k). It's been the most reliable and robust car I've ever owned and has taken me places and speeds a 54bhp car has no right to do. Due for replacement now but it's been brilliant and has paid for itself many, many times over.

Lovely car, just do not expect your roof to last longer than 5 years, having to spend another 2000 € repairing it where Fiat says it is normal
