- This is a quick review over the features and functions inside of the 2019 Honda Ridgeline. If you are considering purchasing one, or you have already purchased one this is a great refresher on what the car has to offer.
Well done, Justin, even for old guy’s ears. Three months into it and love mine. Don’t move others’ furniture any more but occasionally need some manure/compost. Side mirror reverse-move down is great and I can go on but suffice to let you know it is a pleasure to handle. Thanks for the work.
Thanks for watching!
Very nicely done! There's a lot of little features on the Ridgeline that an owner might not even know and I think it offers a lit more than anyone gives it credit for. It certainly can't do what my full size truck can do but I'm over that now. I'm looking for comfort, convenience and fuel economy.
Just purchased one. Thank you. A pleasure to drive.
Congrats on the new Honda!
The Ridgeline appears to be real treat.
Brilliant review as well.
Thanks for watching!
On the 2019 Honda Ridgeline the all-wheel drive model I think that you described up here I believe the salesman showed me that when you turn the signal light on for the right mirror you get a view of the road and three red lines and that that I understand. But I also thought he pushed something and instead of the view you get with the red lines there was an overhead view that looked down at the road and I can't figure it out if it's a feature or if there's a button for it or anything like that maybe you could help me. The second question I have is being a new owner the user documentation is really small print and not easy to read do you know if there's a large print copy of the documentation either from Honda or from another source that would be helpful. I know for my Mazda I got one printed on eight and a half by 11 paper and it was great I could see everything anyways I liked your presentation and my name is Jerry and I live in Prescott Valley Arizona thank you.
LKAS will work with your windsheild wipers on only on the first knotch setting. The very bottom of the first knotch if you turn the dial its an auto setting that will go by speed only two speed fast slow fast when moving slow when stopped. But it is calibrated to read between the wipers on this setting the only way it doesn't work is it there is puddling or too much rain.
My 2019 Honda Ridgeline Sport that does not connect to Car Play, any ideas why not?
Thank you Justin.
Great video.
Love how folks are suprised about the tailgate, trunk feature. FYI the first gen has it too.☺
You didn't show the back up camera
Gracias Justin, I appreciate the info. I am thinking of buying the RTL-E or the Black Edition.
Justin, thanks for the great review. Are cloth seats rare in a Ridgeline? I'm having a hard time locating one.
Thanks for watching! Cloth seats are only in the RT and Sport model. So more models offer leather than cloth.
When did they add that piano black to the steering wheel? I’m waiting for them to get ride of all the touch screen and piano black. I love the concept of this truck but hopefully they make it more truck practical.
Corey I think the touch screen is here to stay. They (Honda) may refresh the vehicle and change the plastics though in the future.
Why RTL-E Don't have Blind-spot Camera on the right side mirror?
The RTL-E comes with a blind spot monitoring system in the mirrors. It will alert you if someone is on either side in a blind spot. It will also alert you if you start to move into the lane a vehicle is already in.
Thank you now I know why my set always went to 2 and I would have to touch 1 never explained
Glad we got that taken care of for you! Thanks for watching!
Is the bed trunk door lockable for tonneau cover mod?
yes it is.
Can I listen to the radio after turning off the engine?
You can. Just press the start button without your foot on the brake. It will turn on accessory mode.
Justin Fuller Thanks.
Is there any difference between the 2018 and 2019 Ridgeline RTLE
It is my understanding there are no changes on the RTL-E from 2018 to 2019.
justin fuller Are they going to make an updated model for 2020? Hopefully something a little more rugged
How about the speakers in the back you're forgetting about that which model has it and which model does not
RTL-E and Black Edition have the speaker system...
Can anyone tell me if the Ridgeline shuts off when you unlock the doors with the remote during remote start? My Kia shuts off if I unlock the doors with the remote to let the kids in. It's a real pain in the ass. My Ram 1500 does not have push button start and I can do what I want with the locks while under remote start. Kia says it's a safety to prevent theft.
It does not turn off when the doors are opened after it is remote started.
Do they have one with a tan interior? Great informative video.
Yes, there are three interior colors. Gray, tan, and black. These correlate with outside colors.
Great video. Very well explained. Although i cant seem to find a video showing the lane watch camera on the ridgeline (which is available in the lower trims) i want to know how it works since there is only one screen unlike my accord that has two.
I think this should help you understand it. -- ruclips.net/video/1p8uPu5sMos/видео.html

standard 9 millimeter input. HUH. sold
I loved everything till they put a 1.5a charger for the apple car play. That is a deal breaker for me. I have it in my current car, but never use it because of this. I'm shocked because my girlfriend has a 2018 Acura TLX and the outlet is 2.1 or 2.4a. I guess those little things don't carry over....anyway, great review
Nice informative video, but the 'tsk' was distracting.
The Owner's manual must be a tome.
hmmm...so that is how this works.
2019 and that's all Honda got.
wow an awd Accord
So to you a “quick review” is 15 minutes!
To go over that many features... yes that is quick.
justin fuller I enjoyed it. I am impressed you could cover that much stuff in such a short amount of time. I just took delivery of a 2019 RTL-E. You helped me a lot!
Even the dude in the video refers to the vehicle as a “car”.
Great video, lots of good info, it would be even better if I could understand what you said. If the point of this video was to be instructional, I would have to say it failed, man I didn't know a human could talk so fast, really annoying to me, trying to soak in your every word.
