What if there was an elder dragon so huge, it *WAS* the map? Like you'd get sent to investigate a mysterious island, but then you find out it's *not an island!*
if your can make a custom quest (which i still dont know how people do it) u can increase monster size by will. my friend put white fatalis size up to 9999 cm and well he glitched out the map with his face popping up every now and then.
Elder Dragon refers to a monster that both doesn't fit into any other category, and is also of a certain level of strength. That's why Kirin and Yama Tsukami are considered Elder Dragons. It's just that most Elder Dragons take the form of a dragon. Also, I think you're thinking of Manticores when it comes to Teostra. Chimaeras are quite a bit different. For one, Chimaeras are usually multiheaded.
I know this is a late reply. But it helps to think of "Elder Dragon" like you would think of the term "mammal". Honestly the size differences between the smallest and largest mammals are larger in proportion than between known elder dragons. Like if Kirin is 6 foot tall for example, then to meet the same ratio would meet you'd need an elder dragon that is 2km long or tall
It is usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat arising from its back, and a tail that might end with a snake's head,[2] and was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra. Its a lion whit Dragonwings and Goathorns, he is a Chimära.
Amatsu is insane. And i cant understand how you can say that he doesnt belong into a top ten(I'd probably put him into a top 5) but the jhen mohran instead which is just an ugly sand fish being super boring but still annoying to fight. I personally would rank mohran far under chameleos and Akantor/Ukanlos.
the term "superboss" is used to describe any secret endgame foe, usually stronger than the final boss. to me, The white fatalis exemplifies this concept PERFECTLY. the rush of adrenaline, how something so angelic looking is in fact a horror beyond belief, and is so strong that it gives midir from dark souls 3 a run for "hardest dragon boss in a video game" try to solo this thing I dare you. just simply, perfect in design, gameplay, and its armor is pretty ridiculous too
My favorite Elder Dragon is definitely Nakarkos cause there's just so much mystery behind it. Watching it transform for the first time was simply daunting.
Yea when i first saw that thing for my HR urgent quest in a group we all felt like it was a elder dragon cause the battle theme itself makes it appear as such, plus the way its designed and the fact it could probably eat another elder dragon adds to it.
Monster Hunter is full of awesome build up for awesome fights, look at Nerscylla wich eats Gypceros and you can see their dead corpses on the area, Or the fact you can see Kushala Daora's old skin on the Ice Land, or fucking Gore Magala!
Manuel Camara if you listen closely to its phase 1 theme, you can hear moans, almost as if some of the bones are still alive.....ok who put silent hill in monster hunter!?
The only reason chameleos is an elder dragon is because of its elusive nature which is also the reason Kirin is listed. Most elder dragons are classed by their power to destroy an ecosystem but incredibly rare beasts are also listed in the category.
Elder dragons in this game are classed based on their size and/or power, their rarity, a trait that makes them a complete mystery (be it the fact that it doesn’t fit into any other category or it has some unexplainable ability like Chameleos’ invisibility) or any combination of the above.
Actually a lot of the lore for Fatalis was written before the Frontier G-rank “Ultimate” Fatalises were a thing. So it was the vanilla black Fatalis that took it down. Another thing is that White Fatalis isn’t a subspecies, but a very old, ancient Fatalis whose mastered his control over dragon energy (and seems to have picked up thunder on the side), the Wiki says the guild believes the Fatalis that destroyed Schrade still lives today as a White Fatalis, and it’s speculated that it’s actually the same one you fight in 4U.
You are taking the name "Elder Dragon" too literally. Some Monsters are classified Elder Dragon based on rarity, their threat to civilization and their ability to unbalance the ecosystem. They aren't literal dragons.
Which makes it a very dumb classification tbh. That's like calling different species of animals that are incredibly powerful Elder Lions because they have extreme power. It makes no sense. Capcom seriously need to learn what dragons and wyverns actually are.
Idk but most of the elder dragons are able to unbalance an ecosystem like dire miralis literally boiled an ocean, ceadeus literally endangered an island just by bashing his horn on it (He didnt even notice he was causing harm)gore magala has a virus that can make every monster enraged unbalancing an ecosystem Imagine a frenzied savage deviljho Eating everything in sight and many more. Except for some like kirin and chameleos there rarity makes them an elder dragon but they are powerful enough tho
Alatreon by far, my favorite Elder dragon is designed just beautiful and he's armor makes you look like a God... he is challenging, and those who slay the Dark god are Legends
The Largest Monster would be Laviente, from Frontier S7.0. It's Japan exclusive so it's no wonder you didn't know about it. I had to get lost on the Wiki once to stumble upon it. It's so massive it takes 16 players, 4 parties of 4 players, to kill it.
Kieron Berakkov technically speaking, gore Magala isn't a elder dragon, nor any classification. It's not until it matures into shagaru Magala to then become a elder dragon
The Jhen Mohran has a very special place in my heart because this was one of the first monsters I've ever seen in the series and one of the reasons why I started playing the series in the first place.
Gaijin Goombah actually covered the Kirin, and how it's qualified as an Elder Dragon. Basically, the Kirin in Monster Hunter is a reference to the Chinese dragon known as a Kirin. It's a good video to watch for educational and entertainment purposes.
Lord Yveltal yeah man, he is capable of so much destruction, he can stop you from carving a dead monster just by ROLLING. I couldn't believe he was so strong.
One thing I love about the Fatalis is that it feels so out-of-place in MH, and even unnatural and demonic. It honestly feels like like it belongs in Dark Souls or something.
Percival917 It's not out of place at all. The EDW if it was in any MH would be odd and I wish it was in MH 1, making the game Actually worth playing, would be the oddest.
Percival917 the fatalis is more of a secret boss that is much stronger than many of the elder dragons in mh4u. it indeed is resembling something demonic for me too. the white fatalis' description in mh4u : "an ancient evil awakens."
wait what?... Fatalis is litterarly just the basic European continental dragon. how is that "out of place"? all other monsters are inspired by real animals or myths.. the only difference is that Fatalis is more directly reminicent of its mythological source
by the way to answer your question regarding to what classifies as a dragon there's actually several different species subspecies of dragons that also include wyverns. Not all dragons are the stereotypical Eastern Dragon or the Western dragon. Kirin is actually a dragon according to Asian lower despite looking like a deer ( which is also the equivalent of a unicorn in the West ). I would advise checking out some the bestiaries and lore if you have the time.
When I was a kid, I had this book about different kinds of dragons (among other things). There were Dragons with limbs but no wings, Dragons with wings but no other limbs, Wyrms, Dragons with Feathered Wings, and later I learned about Faerie Dragons, Chinese Dragons, Wyverns, and Luckdragons.
Zoro silver I like it... although even though I haven't played mhw, I know about kirin in THAT QUEST but honestly it's a gorgeous design and personally fun to fight
IIrc, back in MHFU, there's npc that said elder dragon is classified for monsters that the people dont know much about. I forgot which NPC, and i doubt s/he is still saying the same thing in gen. The 'dragon' word itself doesnt have any much concern for people in the game. We define dragon as fatalis-like creature, here in real life. But people in the game define it in different way.
Oh wow, great video, but sometimes i forget how hilarious BlazingKinight can be when he mispronounces stuff, but six in one video has to be some kind of a record. Teostra, Ceadeus, Fatalus, Dalamadur, Alatreon, and Dunkleosteus if anyone was wondering.
I thought this list was really well made. He explained why he loves these elder dragons without driving it too far. Keep up the good work. I am curious as to if he'll make a MHGenerations Deviants list or a MHFrontier Monster list since I saw clips of them here, making me wonder as to if he played them.
Personally I think there are only 6 good Elder Dragons in the entire series. 6: Lunastra 5: Kushala Daora 4: Chameleos 3: Amatsu 2: Shagaru Magala 1: Alatreon
The amount of ignorance required by someone to claim that an invisible dragon " isn't threatening in the least" is not able to be measured with any instrument that we currently now have
10: Gods be Damned I hated fighting that Pony....worth it though and it is a nail biting fight every time 9: The best Part about this Dragon is you never know where he's hiding, and when he gets pissed HE GETS PISSED! 8: Never faught this guy but DAYUM dose he look awesome. 7: Yay Simba! 6: This guy looks like something straight out of Final Fantasy (back when it was good) 5: This guy felt like the true final boss in every hunter game >w< 4: The best fight for Parties! 3: Loved the Gora, Love the Shagaru even more. 2: F@#$% THIS MONSTER!!!! 1: Truly a Epic Dragon, Sad its not in other Hunter games. Also It fights like the Kushala which is MY Favorite Elder Dragon (Both the Fight, Armor and Weapons I love.....plus the pin up pics of the lady hunters)
Chameleos looks so doggone... stupid. Like, it just has this constantly DUMB grin on its face all the time like it looks so pleased with itself, when it isn't even that strong, its poison is a joke and the whole stealing-items thing is a trick it had to take from Gypcerios to be relevant. A conversation with it would probably go like this: "Hey Chameleos, why are you so weak for an Elder Dragon?" "Uh *poison cloud burp* apples!"
Dhisufiora ma shit had a friend that let me play her frontier account and that fight was serene chaos, also love Fatal is for its lore cause of just how much it hates humanity as a whole
cool list dude, my number one would be nergigante, and not because it eats all the other elder dragons, but because of it's design and it's fight, just like the kirin, keeps you on your toes as it can leap at you even if your on the other side of the field.
My all time favorite elder dragon would be the Alatreon. I remember all to well my first encounter with this beast and how it destroyed me. It's description fits it pretty well. Very close to this guy is for me the shagaru magala. While I do have Generations and 4U, I just didn't have anymore drive left in me after the final boss in g rank in 4u/ starting high rank in gen to get to fight the other elder dragons, especially since my eyes and hands were hurting alot as it was pretty uncomfortable for me to play on the 3ds for a long time. Great choices there. I hope some of them return in MHWorld.
Man I love your voice. Don't get me wrong, is just that as a none english native speaker I always interested in improving my english and when I talk I feel that I sound like a 12 years old kid when I'm a 22 years old man. When one try to talk in another language we tend to sound completely different.
Congrats on making a 20m video! Btw you exited for the monster hunter xx port to switch? Will you pick it up? I remember you said you didn't play monster hunter generations. Last question, I promise - Will you do a top 10 flag ship monsters list? You should wait to play generations or xx first because the flag ship monsters in those are some of the best design wise in my opinion. The battles are also pretty cool too.
Yes I will do top 10 flagship monsters and Yes i have played generations, and as for MHXX, honestly at first I hated when they announced it because I just got generations and it feel like I wasted my money, however after hearing it's going to be on the switch, I like the idea of playing another HD monster game on consoles.
out of the elder dragons I actually enjoyed fighting against the three following: jhen mohran, Alatreon, and Gore Magala. I enjoyed slaying them. especially against jhen mohran makes me feel like Captain Ahab hunting down Moby Dick
The really funny thing is that there’s new evidence that says that particular Dalamadur was likely a juvenile of the species. In World the rotten vale is made up of the skeleton of an adult Dalamadur that was likely a kilometer in length.
Great vid. I would've thought Dalamadur was going to be number 1 but Alatreon. I understand. The best elder dragon in my opinion has to be Dire Miralis.
you were correct with the Kirin in that it is based off of the Chinese Qulin. As for the Teostra, it is a type of Chinese dragon as well. Chinese mythology has quite a few dragon chimera, and while the Kirin is based on the dragon/horse hybrid, the Teostra is based on the dragon/lion hybrid.
The Chameleos is by far my favourite dragon (elder or otherwise). In MH4U, it has one of the best armour sets, and weapons. Gogmazios takes a close second, but I love chameleos. The fight was very entertaining, and everything you get looks beautiful. Everything about him is entirely unique.
So I main the bowguns (light and heavy) and seem to be really the only person who does...and I was able to take down the Shagur magala with a light bow gun
And now in 2023 we have World and Rise with Elder Dragons that do NOT screw around. Shara Ishvalda is the best example for me. Beating him over and over to get his armor set was worth it.
@@BLAZINGKNIGHT50 Nope but it made battling them all the more satisfying. Taking down Shara Ishvalda and beating it was the most satisfying thing ever. Getting the armor set was also better.
Teostra's also got that annoying fact that his range goes up the more you hurt it on top of being very vicious. Pretty sure with Shagaru they gave it the whitish yellow as a sort of artistic contrast to the younger varient Gore. Love their switch axes so much the really pretty scythe axe mode
Its funny that dalamadur feeds on all of the monsters in game besides ravinite (unless you count the books since they say dala can wrap around the world) i just find it funny
The kiran is based off of unicorns and unicorns are based off of giraffes and back in the day around the Sengoku time period when the silk road was still a thing giraffes were brought to Japan and they thought of em as magical dragons unbeknownst to them.
To me, Elder Dragons usually have the better Battle Themes than either non-Elder Dragons such as Tigrex, or an area's Battle theme, but then again, the music of Monster Hunter is one that I will keep listening too.
Funny story actually: I really dislike the Teostra (minus the music), but after fighting it in Generations... God damn, it's too pretty for me to hate! The fire effects man! They're beautiful!
Elder Dragon is actually something of a catch-all term in-universe, referring to creatures completely removed from the evolutionary tree as far as the Guild has been able to discern. Some do indeed resemble classical dragons, but you also get outliers like Kirin and Nakarkos, which... Well, don't really resemble anything else in that world.
Blaze you gave me PTSD when you mentioned Golurk being able to learn Flying while Druddigon can't. If you mentioned a different Pokemon being able to learn Solarbeam while Druddigon can't then it would make sense when it comes to faulty video game logic. I've been watching Galeforce3192's commentaries on Eryizo & TrueGreen7's mistyped Pokemon lists. And that felt like something that would be mentioned about Druddigon not being a flying type when its wings are immobile & absorb sunlight.
Should I get Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate or Monster Hunter Generations? I want to give this series another chance after watching these Monster Hunter vids and I want to know which is better for me. I've played the demos of both but not for long and I'm leaning more towards Generations because it has skills to use.
I'd say go for 4 Ultimate, it has a better roster of monsters, does the best job of easing new players into monster hunter and is the overall best game in the series in my opinion.
BLAZINGKNIGHT It really does. I didn't even know it was Monster Hunter until the name popped up. Weird, I'm interested yet I don't own the console for it or am I a big Monster Hunter aficionado.
Well from what I've heard Monster Hunter World is catered towards new players and is supposed to make it easier for them to get into the series, almost like what Awakening did for Fire emblem, so if you get the chance you might want to give that one a go when it comes out.
What if there was an elder dragon so huge, it *WAS* the map? Like you'd get sent to investigate a mysterious island, but then you find out it's *not an island!*
Game Gollum that would be sick
if your can make a custom quest (which i still dont know how people do it) u can increase monster size by will. my friend put white fatalis size up to 9999 cm and well he glitched out the map with his face popping up every now and then.
MLL2002 Not to the portion of the Fire Emblem Fanbase that hates Awakening.
That is the Raviente in Monster Hunter Frontier. It's literally the island and you have to take up to 16 players through 4 stages of battles.
Raviente is as big as an island but not literally *THE* island.
Elder Dragons are classified by their rarity and potential to destroy entire ecosystems IIRC.
Yes, the word dragon really doesn't mean much except to help impose the threat they possess I assume.
So powerful in fact, the Guild keeps tight tabs on their locations pretty much at all times too.
Bryanneo1 For the most part Elder Dragons are dragon like in appearance.
And by their life span, chameleos for this case.
at least someone remembers that explanation instead of going "hurrr that´s a snake and that´s a whale how are these dragons I wont google it either"
It's a shame that the Konchu isn't on here
The Artian all hail our lord and god THE MIGHTY KONCHU
Mosswine isn't in the list either, this is HERESY
Just A Random Person you mean popo.
The Artian yea the immortal rolling shell
The Artian triggered

well not quit.chimera's are a bunch of animals mixed in one.
Morons in our mythology is some kind of dragon horse hybrid from China
@@dracofire1621 your history is shit. Greek is the orignal myth of a chimera
+CreepyQuantizer
I'm pretty sure he was referring to Kirin.
I know this is a late reply. But it helps to think of "Elder Dragon" like you would think of the term "mammal". But.....Teostra isn't a chimera. It's a manticore. Still not a dragon, yes. But not a chimera
It is usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat arising from its back, and a tail that might end with a snake's head,[2] and was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.
Its a lion whit Dragonwings and Goathorns, he is a Chimära.
still a chimera. manticore have a scorpion tail.
Lmao I though the same thing
Elder Dragons don't need to be "dragons", they just need to be incredibly rare and dangerous / a legendary destroyer of worlds.
A monster can also be classified as an elder dragon through it's lifespan
My favorite Elder Dragon is the Amatsu. A dragon who causes storms to form in it's mere presence is just awesome.
hiddenlightinggenin Gogmazios is my favorite, but amatsu isn't bad ether
hiddenlightinggenin Amatsumagatsuchi the best Wind Fish in the series
Prince Kazuya And the 2 Battle Themes for Amatsu... Another reason why Amatsu is one of my favorite Elder Dragons.
Ammy also has her own unique victory themes.
Amatsu is insane. And i cant understand how you can say that he doesnt belong into a top ten(I'd probably put him into a top 5) but the jhen mohran instead which is just an ugly sand fish being super boring but still annoying to fight. ZerkMonsterHunter 4 Too bad you apparently go insane and/or disappear entirely when you wear the armor.
yea his 2nd gen version but his 4th gen version is a bit more easy BUT alot more fun to hunt.
I learned to solo him and the other Fatalis triplets with the Great Sword and Gunlance in Freedom Unite.
Midr is just tanky not hard :0 I find kalameet much harder but agree on fatalis :P
It's F A T A L I S , Jesus you noobs are just down right stupid
My favorite Elder Dragon is definitely Nakarkos cause there's just so much mystery behind it. Watching it transform for the first time was simply daunting.

Does anyone else find Chamleos kinda, I don't know.. cute?
Me? ^^'
100% yes
Yes.
Khezu is still the cutest tho
Isma Ortiz no
Yesh
Teostra is more like a Manticore than a chimera
no scorpion tail though. Teostra's tail has a tuft
Closer to a Manticore than a Lion with a viper tail and goat head on its back
Oh yeah, supposedly the ultimate Fatalis was the only thing that could stand up to the Equal Dragon Weapon, so massive respect there
didnt fatalis also hide from it?
normal fatalis killed nearly all EDWs,White fatalis just destroyed entire kingdom
@Ace 2208 fatalis killed all ancient people and their EDWs,castles adn much more

1. Kushala Daora

7. Dhisufiroa
Kieron Berakkov technically speaking, gore Magala isn't a elder dragon, nor any classification. It's not until it matures into shagaru Magala to then become a elder dragon
Fatalis and alatreon are black dragons not elder dragons
I'm happy that Shagaru Magala was here. He is a really great boss to fight, and while he wasn't endgame, he felt like an endgame boss.
15:40 If anyone is curious, in terms of feet, Dalamadur is 1500 feet long, which is fifteen times the length of the BLUE WHALE
About as enormous as a Fire Whirl. Don't question that simile...
Jarod Tate I bet to it, blue whales are appetizers
A Gore magala walks to dalamaders mountain...
The Jhen Mohran has a very special place in my heart because this was one of the first monsters I've ever seen in the series and one of the reasons why I started playing the series in the first place.
A suspicious lack of Rhenoplos
EarbudDoggo what giggi? They should be on the list
Both of you are wrong. The elder dragon that should be on this list is the jaggi
Rhenoplos, Baggi and Giggi are NOT elder dragons.
Gabriel Baker it’s just a joke dude calm down.
Gaijin Goombah actually covered the Kirin, and how it's qualified as an Elder Dragon. Basically, the Kirin in Monster Hunter is a reference to the Chinese dragon known as a Kirin. It's a good video to watch for educational and entertainment purposes.

Holy crap, the Kirin on MHWorld...
As a hammer player I HATE the Kirin
Ben Shaul the only weapon I can fight the Kirin with is a bow
Ben Shaul Kirin is one of the worst monsters ever.
Ben Shaul as a gunner. I hate Kirin too.
Especially with a group! Can't use the power slam.
Lizardman yeah it's just people hitting each other
Dude, I wanna see a Fire-based Kirin in the later games. Make an elemental trinity out of this species.
No Kushala Daora? NO KUSHALA DAORA?! Why?! Why doesnt kushala get any love? ;-;
Its a steel dragon that controls icy winds. ;-;
It's the flagship of the first 2nd gen game too.
Ryft Games i fucking hate kush IMO.

The amount of ignorance required by someone to claim that an invisible dragon " isn't threatening in the least" is not able to be measured with any instrument that we currently now have
10: Gods be Damned I hated fighting that Pony....worth it though and it is a nail biting fight every time
9: The best Part about this Dragon is you never know where he's hiding, and when he gets pissed HE GETS PISSED!
8: Never faught this guy but DAYUM dose he look awesome.
7: Yay Simba!
6: This guy looks like something straight out of Final Fantasy (back when it was good)
5: This guy felt like the true final boss in every hunter game >w<
4: The best fight for Parties!
3: Loved the Gora, Love the Shagaru even more.
2: F@#$% THIS MONSTER!!!!
1: Truly a Epic Dragon, Sad its not in other Hunter games. Also It fights like the Kushala which is MY Favorite Elder Dragon (Both the Fight, Armor and Weapons I love.....plus the pin up pics of the lady hunters)
why do you hate dalamadur? lol
If the leak continues to be legit, Alatreon will make a return in MHWorld.
A conversation with it would probably go like this:
"Hey Chameleos, why are you so weak for an Elder Dragon?"
"Uh *poison cloud burp* apples!"
I think you may be confusing a chimera with a Manticore
Dhisufiora ma shit had a friend that let me play her frontier account and that fight was serene chaos, also love Fatal is for its lore cause of just how much it hates humanity as a whole
cool list dude, my number one would be nergigante, and not because it eats all the other elder dragons, but because of it's design and it's fight, just like the kirin, keeps you on your toes as it can leap at you even if your on the other side of the field.
Wacthed it loved it and I think at least half of these elder dragons are going to make it in world.
Can't wait to see my favorite monsters in HD in Monster Hunter World. Hoping for the Baroth! :D
Why does everyone who likes Dalamadur say everyone else dislikes Dalamadur? You like him,
Dak likes him. I do too...
I hope some of them return in MHWorld.
in Asian mythology there is a dragon that had a dragons head and the body of a horse
BTW, I'm curious to know if you plan to make a top 15/20 Monster Hunter Battle Themes.
Hey Blaze, would you try Monster Hunter Stories? If so, which Monster would you team up with?
Man I love your voice. Don't get me wrong, is just that as a none english native speaker I always interested in improving my english and when I talk I feel that I sound like a 12 years old kid when I'm a 22 years old man. When one try to talk in another language we tend to sound completely different.
Blaze, it may be odd to ask this now, but who designed your avatar? It's really cool with all the different expressions and such.
I did the designs and drawings of the avatar I use
Too bad you never got to face the Lao Shan.
Cant wait for monster hunter world
Congrats on making a 20m video!
Oops,
you played generations now? My bad ;)
Yes I will do top 10 flagship monsters and Yes i have played generations, and as for MHXX, honestly at first I hated when they announced it because I just got generations and it feel like I wasted my money, however after hearing it's going to be on the switch, I like the idea of playing another HD monster game on consoles.
Also 20m videos aren't exactly rare anymore on my channel
Think i've been watching too many old videos then recently...
personally gog is one of my all time favorite elders, it nocks everything out of the park for me. Design, enjoy-ability, and theme.
out of the elder dragons I actually enjoyed fighting against the three following: jhen mohran, Alatreon, and Gore Magala.
Chinese mythology has quite a few dragon chimera, and while the Kirin is based on the dragon/horse hybrid, the Teostra is based on the dragon/lion hybrid.
don't know if anyone has commented it already but there is a port of freedom unite on the apple app store
Alatreon is by far a favorite of mine too. In the newer MH I think Shagaru Magala and Gore Magala are my absolute favs.
Teostra does looking like a freaking lion
And the valfalk?
The Chameleos is by far my favourite dragon (elder or otherwise). In MH4U, it has one of the best armour sets, and weapons. Gogmazios takes a close second, but I love chameleos. The fight was very entertaining, and everything you get looks beautiful. Everything about him is entirely unique.
i got a late start in this series but do you like the palicos cause i thought they were awsome
Not sure why he didn't include the Kelbi
*tut tut*
So I main the bowguns (light and heavy) and seem to be really the only person who does...and I was able to take down the Shagur magala with a light bow gun
I have found my kind.
Personally I've never been a fan of Teostra. But my favorite elder dragon is Dire Miralis. Theres just so much stuff I love about it.
Are you going to make a top 10 monsters to ride in monster hunter stories? and yes it's getting a release outside of japan.
Just found your videos, you've earned yourself a sub :) if you ever need any MH music for your videos feel free to ask!
Thanks very much, and thanks for the heads up on the music too! =)
Such a good old days broo it is been a 5 years damn i feel old
According to in gams text, the title of elder dragon is sometimes given to a monster when they don't fit into any other category.
I'm expecting white fatalis :(
White fatalis through and through baby
And now in 2023 we have World and Rise with Elder Dragons that do NOT screw around. Shara Ishvalda is the best example for me. Beating him over and over to get his armor set was worth it.
Yeah they did not mess around when it came to the recent elder dragons.
@@BLAZINGKNIGHT50 Nope but it made battling them all the more satisfying. Taking down Shara Ishvalda and beating it was the most satisfying thing ever. Getting the armor set was also better.
When u say chimera and fullmetal alchemist I feel a chill down my spine
Dire Miralis is my favourite Elder Dragon. Followed by Amatsumagatsuchi, Ceadeus, Hollow Jen' Mohran, and Narkarkos.
Blazing you do know that Freedom U is on the App Store right? Granted it probably be hard to find other hunters but it's still there ^w^
Amatsu - GOD WATER BEAMS, you exploded.
BlazingKnight, I made 3 videos showing everyone my 40 Favorite Monster Hunter Monsters, 20 Least Favorite Monster Hunter Monsters and 25 Favorite Monster Hunter Elder Dragons.
Technically Shagaru isn't a variant.
Its funny that dalamadur feeds on all of the monsters in game besides ravinite (unless you count the books since they say dala can wrap around the world) i just find it funny
hey blazing knight do you some what like the design for the hipcheck god plesioth
The kiran is based off of unicorns and unicorns are based off of giraffes and back in the day around the Sengoku time period when the silk road was still a thing giraffes were brought to Japan and they thought of em as magical dragons unbeknownst to them.
@blazingknight hey what did you think the new trailer for the next monster hunter game
Chameleos, Nakarkos, Gogmazios, White Fatalis, Dalamadur, and Amatsu are among my favorite Elder Dragons.
Then again, fighting the Dalamadur would basically be like fighting the Jormungadr from Norse mythology.
BlazingKnight do you Plan on Covering The new elder Dragons that Have Appeared
Perhaps at some point.
@@BLAZINGKNIGHT50 theres a Lot of elder Dragons Out there to cover XD
Elder Dragon is actually something of a catch-all term in-universe, referring to creatures completely removed from the evolutionary tree as far as the Guild has been able to discern.
Some do indeed resemble classical dragons, but you also get outliers like Kirin and Nakarkos, which... Well, don't really resemble anything else in that world.
I'm not a fan of monster hunter, but it's you so... I will watch this anyway
The Kirin has Dragonscales. The Kirin is rarely sighted by the Guild and it's classified as a Elder Dragon
you complained about Teostra and Kirin being an Elder Dragon
but fine with Dal'madur? what?
If I may ask, Why didn't you include Amatsu? this is more my opinion amd curriosity, but I beleave that Amatau has one of my personal favorite fights.
7:07 Makes an FMA Chimera reference, doesn't make a joke about Nina Tucker
I am disappoint
Where is Amatsu and Gogmazios
Quint Yes where is gogmazios
i think that the rotten vale itself is the corpse of a shah dalamadur. your dreams have come true, archon
BLAZINGKNIGHT Alright, thank you. Just curious, have you seen Monster Hunter World?
Yep and it looks amazing.
