Also, zenith plesioth with sonic bomb is very useful for rescuing teammates!

I gotta say I was tempted to play freedom unite, but watching this video made me not want to lol. I can imagine the nostalgia for fans that played it before, but as a Rise/World enjoyer, I can simply not fathom enjoying some of the super non telegraphed attacks like some showcased in this video lol.
You just lern to Never stay infront of a monster or in a zone where the untelegraphed move would hit

This was the very first MH that I played. Put in hella hours in this one. SO many quality of life changes in the later games that I could never roll back lol Played this in high school and my fellow hunters with PSP would go to school super early just to hunt them plates.

it also depends on strategy and where you hit him, the best way to deal a lot of damage before you reach the last area is to hit him in the stomach a lot

474+ hours play time on this game. When we became G-rank with my bros we quit, wish we played more on this version.
Now we're playing sunbreak an boy oh boy, it's much easier. Something about Tigrex, Narga, Rajang felt so different yet somewhat very familiar.
And I was like, "Yes. We've always won the battle. But did the monsters deserve to die?" before I frequently use the Tranq bomb. Such an adventure.
