    After Celebrini the Hawks can go a few ways, same as the Ducks. Picks two through five could go as expected or could be all over the place. This is going to be a fun draft to watch!

    Ugh I'm so afraid Chicago takes a defenseman, I would prefer they take Demidov.... The Hawks offense is miserable and Bedard will grow weary of this.

    • @AnaheimRob

      Bedard is still a kid and just happy to play in the NHL. Doubt he gets weary of anything for a few years at least.

    Columbus is locked in on Lindstrom. They took him to dinner twice this week and it's an open secret here in Columbus they are enamored with him. I doubt the Flames get Iginla. If Columbus takes Lindstrom and Montreal takes Demidov, there's a good chance Ottawa would take Iginla, especially if there really is a possibility they are going to move Tkachuk.

    • @DBeau73
      @DBeau73 3 месяца назад +1

      Unlikely that Tkachuk will be on the move. The offer will need to be very sweet before the Sens trade him.

      If Chicago takes Levshunov the Ducks will pick either Silayev or Lindstrom. My gut thinks it would be Silayev but Lindstrom is the type of forward Verbeek likes so who knows with him. He has no problem surprising people with who he drafts. If Chicago does take Demidov then the Ducks take Levshunov and Columbus will get their guy.

  • @DBeau73
    @DBeau73 3 месяца назад

    Yes, the Sens will be looking for a RD. But like you said in your videos LD of the make of Chabot, Sanderson and Chychrun makes it unlikely that they'll go for another Offensive D. Possibly they'll go the free agency to get DeMelo back. Out of all the mock drafts, I've seen 3 players that come up often. Parekh, Dickinson and Catton.

  • @brianlind4456
    @brianlind4456 3 месяца назад +1

    Book it Lindstrom to Anaheim. A Verbeek type player and a franchise enter which only bolsters the offensive force up front.

      @wizb4707 2 месяца назад

      Doubt it.

    • @AnaheimRob
      @AnaheimRob 2 месяца назад

      I can see this happening if Levshunov is off the board. The Ducks need a top four RD and Levshunov would fit right in but "IF" Chicago does take him I would think it is a toss up between Lindstrom and Silayev. Who knows, Verbeek was not a big player at all and may have a soft spot for Demidov as well. Demidov's skillset may be too much to pass on if he is available. Verbeek has no problem going against the grain so Anaheim's pick could be a bit surprising to most.

    The hell with Helenius or Catton. Flyers should pick Eiserman. He has more upside than those two conservative picks. But I feel that Briere will see himself in Catton and probably pick him. The Flyers got screwed out of Cutter Gauthier so Eiserman would fill that void.

    • @AnaheimRob
      @AnaheimRob 2 месяца назад

      The Flyers got Drysdale and a 2nd round pick next year. How is that getting screwed? Drysdale is already one of the best skaters in the league and when he fills out a bit, keeping him from getting injured, he will be an All Star caliber D-man and PP quarterback. I don't think any other team in the NHL was able to offer close to what Anaheim gave. A potentially elite forward of a potentially elite D-man. Sounds pretty good to me. Fans still miss Drysdale in Anaheim. If he's not a fan favorite yet, he will be.

    • @greggm6614
      @greggm6614 2 месяца назад

      @@AnaheimRob right now he is an injury prone player with less potential than Gauthier. It sucks that Cutter didn't have the balls to say why he changed his mind and didn't want to play for the Flyers. Gauthier, combined with Michkov would have set the Flyers up offensively for years. Now we get a injury prone guy whose ceiling is no where near Gauthier, that is where the Flyers got screwed.

    • @AnaheimRob
      @AnaheimRob 2 месяца назад

      @@greggm6614 A lot of young players were injured last year. It's tough for what really are kids getting used to playing with fully grown men a lot stronger than they are. I think you will feel differently after Drysdale has a full season without any major injuries. That's probably going to be this coming season. Yeah, it isn't NHL proven yet, but his skating, passing and IQ are very close to elite. He has the potential to be a big deal.

    • @greggm6614
      @greggm6614 2 месяца назад +1

      @@AnaheimRob It could all work out in the long run, that is the positive look at it, but the Flyers never tanked in their history to get generational players on their roster similar to Pittsburgh, Edmonton and Toronto. So, the Gauthier situation is a major sore spot

    • @AnaheimRob
      @AnaheimRob 2 месяца назад +2

      @@greggm6614 I see and I do get it. The only thing I can say is give Drysdale the time he needs...Which shouldn't be more than another year or two before you start seeing what he is capable of at the NHL level. If Michkov does enter the NHL sooner, like next year, good change Drysdale will be feeding him a ton of quality passes. If Michkov can adjust to N. American rinks quickly that could equate to a ton of goals.

      @@Lord-Hossaoverloaded with dmen? Please list who you think will be future #1 and 2 on a Stanley cup winning team? Quality > quantity. The hawks have been scouting levshunov heavily all year. I wouldn't be surprised if they went with demidov but don't be so sure about it. Big right shot dmen are very sought after. With demidov four of the future top 6 would be under 6' and that doesn't look too good for deep playoff runs. Levshunov isn't as sexy but would be the better pick.

      @@ston3s the Florida Panthers who are 3 games from winning a Stanley Cup, who’s their number 1 D-man?
      Forsling? A guy picked up on waivers? Montour? An old Ekblad? A passed around OEL?
      Your argument holds no validity. I said you draft best player available with a pick at 2nd overall. The consensus is Demidov.
      You can draft D men with later picks and develop them into a Number 1 defensemen. A guy named Duncan Keith was picked 54th overall.
      Vlasic has already shown proof that no matter where a D man is picked they can be molded into a top notch player given the right time and development. Korchinski has shown flashes and is literally only 18, rounding out the prospect is half of the gold medal winning WJC team from 2023 in Del Mastro and Allen.
      Is this really that hard of a concept to understand??
