So I did my driver side last weekend after watching the first half of this. Had a hell of a time getting that joint back into that spindle knuckle... Gotta do my pass side and both tie rod ends today... Wanted to see how it would go back on by putting the joint in first then tightening the nuts and bolt on the lower control arm. I don't see why I couldn't try that so I'll let ya know how it goes lol
That should work out fine, and yeah you can see in the video my camera man helped me out a bit. It is very possible to do by yourself, but a whole lot easier with an extra hand or two.
@@fullautoratchet9715 I appreciate you taking the time to make this when you did. It certainly helped me to do mine, especially seeing what I was getting into! After that last comment I made, I put the rest of my parts on and I wanna make sure you or anyone else seeing this to know: |•×WHEN REPLACING LOWER BALL JOINT... MATE IT TO THE SPINDLE BEFORE FASTENING IT TO THE LOWER CONTROL ARM!! THIS WILL MAKE THE JOB 100000 ×'s FASTER & EASIER!ו| Trust me, I wish I would've done it that way before on my driver's side. Lol thanks again for the help and keep up the good work! Good job camera man too!
This is real suspension work. I might just hire a shop to work on mine. Now that I saw what I'm up against.
You can do it just get someone to give you hand lining up the joint and bolts
If you do it like this guy then you are working harder than you need to.
