Suddenly now this list has revised, I have so many more luxury watches. Thanks Seiko!
Same
+4
I love that you've put Seiko so high. They're a brand that get so many people into watches in the first place and anywhere from £200-1000 they offer so much choice and value, from the Seiko 5, the Alpinists, the Sharp Edge, the insane amount of divers as well. They deserve credit for just getting people into the hobby while actually being attainable and affordable for most people.
They aren't luxury, neither is grand Seiko. Neither is longines. This is a joke.
@Eric Bishard who is talking about luxury? He is talking about getting into a hobby of enjoying quality watches. I am dumping my POS apple watch and getting back to traditional watches with a Casio gshock and a Seiko. I don't care if they are not consider luxury. They are way better than that piece of garbage I mistakingly bought to become one more sheep in the conference room.
@@crBudgetWatches The video says Luxury brands.
Then grand seiko shouldve been above seiko. List kinda dumb.
Glashutte Original belongs there too, its really underrated.
Totally agree
My favorite brand to be honest. Senator chronometer is so good.
💯 Agree. Beautiful watches made by artisans for discerning buyers who care more about quality than public perception
The fact they weren't mentioned has me questioning my watch channel subscription
Blancpain FF?
Seiko getting the credit it deserves🌟
Seiko is literal shit. Like the lexus wich is made by toyota and asks Mercedes Benz money, a literal scam lol. Japanese are famous for this and this guy seems to be paid by them
That was a surprise. But can’t argue with their importance. I mean they’re spread of very affordable to fairly expensive is kinda unique, their quality/value for money is crazy, tons of heritage, lots of hits, and movements have been in house for a very long time (long before it was “hip”) again at really affordable prices.
I mean there is a reason why Seiko is TGV's favorite brand. They do everything. No matter who you are, there is a Seiko for you. The only thing I have to deduct them for are the JDM models being JDM. There are some crazy nice watches that totally would sell like hot cakes internationally but for some reason they just don't release them outside of Japan.
@@BBKMotoLove221 you have lost me when you called TISSOT a trash brand !! 😅😂🤣
Tissot- Literally the most value Swiss brand with rich heritage and large portfolio.
@@vipinsuriya007 that was a reply to one clown. He has now deleted his comment.
As a mid-tier enthusiast, of those 22 (!) - my ranking is:
1. Seiko (same as Watchfinder: 1), 2. Patek Philippe (3), 3. Jaeger-LeCoultre (6)
4. Grand Seiko (8), 5. A. Lange & Söhne (4), 6. Rolex (2)
7. Omega (same, 7), 8. F.P. Journe (9), 9. Breguet (19 ... ?)
10. Vacheron Constantin (6), 11. Audemars Piguet (21 ... ?), 12. IWC (same, 12)
13. TAG Heuer (20), 14. Tudor (15), 15. Breitling (14)
16. Cartier (10), 17. Longines (same, 17), 18. Zenith (same, 18)
19. Tissot (16), 20. Panerai (13), 21. Richard Mille (11), 22. Hublot (same, 22).
Overall, this is a nice but tricky exercise, also very much depending on the weight you give to the various criteria Watchfinder are using here
(1. value for money, 2. quality, - 3. history / heritage, 4. number of iconic watch models, 5. "street cred").
For me, the first two (value (at retail prices) and quality) are much more important than the other three criteria.
This may explain the main differences I have with Watchfinder:
- significantly higher: JLC (3 vs 6), GS (4 vs 8), Breguet (9 vs 19), AP (11 vs 21), (TAG) Heuer (13 v 20)
- significantly lower: Rolex (6 vs. 2), Cartier (16 vs 10), Panerai (20 vs 13), RM (21 vs 11).
The fact that excellent value-for-money German brands like NOMOS, Glasshütte Original and Sinn are still missing from Watchfinder's list tells me there needs to be another sequel ..., maybe expand this list to 30?! Cheers!
These brand ranking videos are basically click-bait videos of the watch channels.
We know, and we still click, so... can't blame them if it works!
See also Rolex.....
Did you watch it?
Nico Leonard really hack the matrix
Their whole channel is basically the click-bait of watch videos
tissot over longines is a horrible decision. without the prx there’s literally nothing left.
Longines over Tissot for shure but to be fair, Tissot has and had a lot of good models. Modern and vintage Seastar and PRS516, the Navigator Chronograph, PR100, Visodate, T-Touch, Ballade, seriously there's a lot to like!
@@jrgdrumsandwatches Agree. My 516 looks strong next to my new Sub.
As the newish owner of a Zenith Chronomaster, I would have liked to see them a bit higher in the rankings, but I really think that their limited range of offerings does keep them out of the top half. I think that the quality of their in-house movement should place them a bit higher, but again, they are a bit of a one horse pony (El Primero...)
it's one trick pony 🙂
I know I could be hanged for saying this but I like the zenith defy classic more than AP RO
@@ummzify hahaha yeah the RUclips gang won't take it kindly!
The el primero eats most watches for breakfast
The Defy Skyline once seen in person is incredible. The Chrono Sport is a banger too.
This list needs more Germany 😜 more specifically it needs more Glashütte: Nomos and Glashütte Original.
And while you’re in Deutschland, I’d say Junghans deserves a mention too.
Having said that, great job lads! Deserved first spot too! 👍🏻
I would have ranked Longines a tad higher and RM (a lot) lower though. Still, a fun list, hope to see more brands being added in the future!
Sinn also
RM's look ugly and cost a shit ton but the engineering behind them is insane. They are more of an "influencer watch" though
How is Citizen not there? Every year they have the most accurate movement ffs, and their solar technology is unrivalled
Gotta leave some hip, hidden gems even for the enthusiasts, I guess. ;)
They have the record of the most accurate watch.
@@Vic92084 What makes your comment extremely funny, is that "hipster" Citizen is probably the largest watch manufacturer in the world (or at least very close), LOL.
You are right though, watch enthusiasts often completely ignore them. Their loss, my Promaster Tough is a true gem of a watch... and has an amazing monocoque case!
@@jasondoe2596 Horological horseshoe theory. XD
And yeah, Eco-Drive makes for some crazy cool monocoque possibilities. I have a GMT world timer monocoque from some time in the mid 90s and it's the most comfortable watch I've ever owned, lume still works, keeps perfect time. Crazy to me that the snobs pass on Citizen.
Are they a luxury watchmaker?
I guess Casio didn’t make the list because it’s “GOD TIER”!
Nico only says that to not make y’all feel poor. Go out and make money sonny
If you rank somthing in order and than somebody said you can have (on the house) whatever you want from the list, logicaly you would pick the best nr.1 because it is the best from that ranking list. Or is it. Would you pick sekio in this case over JLC ALS omega and so on. All respect to seiko they are great in many ways but there is no sence in this ranking. Nobody given the chance would choose seiko over any of those other brands.
Totally agree.. I respect what Seiko does and has done just as much as anyone but they're quality is nothing compared to actual luxury brands.. Again, doesnt mean I don't own and love seiko.
I was about to stat a riot when you FINALLY got to Lange.... Also not mentioning the Zeitwerk was blasphemous I tell you! 😤
As I have got older my priorities have changed, and my tastes have too. I would have Lange, Patek, Vacheron, Audemars and Breguet in the top tier, IWC, JLC, Blancpain and Omega next, and Rolex much further down. I don't rate Seiko or Richard Mille at all, sorry...
Exactly. Their ratings are chosen to be contentious, and to attract comments. I think your top tier list is correct. Leaving brilliant but small makers (R.Smith, FPJ, etc.) out of the equation, my order would be, Patek, Breguet, Lange, VC, and AP. Most enthusiasts have not seen a Patek or Breguet up close, in the hand. That's when the breath-taking reality of true high horology begins to dawn. Alas (thank goodness) they are (reassuringly) expensive. Cheaper, bombproof alternatives such as Rolex and Omega are better everyday user watches. High horology wearers smile knowingly when Rolex folk roll up their sleeves in hope of being noticed.
Poor Oris is getting snubbed a second time.
Quality - A lange & Sohne
Street cred - Rolex
History - Patek Phillipe
Value for money - Tudor
I'm not counting seiko as a luxury brand. Grand seiko is but not seiko.
Casio should be on the top. Extremely well built, extreme value, ton of icons with the g shock square, f91w, casio oak, duro, and mud master. Street cred. A ton of very rich and famous people with access to a ton of watches still rock $100 watches. Which brand can do that? John Mayor, Eminem, Justin Bieber, Usher, Tom Cruise all wear casios. Even the former richest billionaire Bill Gates wears a Casio Duro. Top tier.
Casio > Seiko > Rolex > Patek
This appears to be a list of automatic mechanical watches and Casio doesn't have any.
@Bensmite Herro I'm pretty sure Bill Gates not being sponsor to wear the Casio Duro. Eminem was interviewed about watches. He sported the Casio G shock. ruclips.net/video/Xfbfkc-yrQg/видео.html
@Bensmite Herro If cost, or lack thereof, is the only reason, there are plenty of cheaper watches the majority can buy.
Hate to break it to you, but people buy them coz they’re God Tier 😄
@Bensmite Herro a few comments:
The majority of people don't care one bit about watches beyond telling the time, I know people who are very well off financially and wear a Timex or another budget watch. The idea that people only wear cheap watches because they can't afford 'better' is BS.
The people I know who do have a luxury watch mostly bought it because it's what is expected in their circles, they could not tell you anything about the watch beyond the price and that it's gold.
Personally I can appreciate both a luxury dress watch and a far cheaper Casio G-Shock that can take a beating and handles time zones and daylight saving time correctly so I know what time (and date) it is in Melbourne or Chennai. Both have their uses.
Alange & Sohne is really beautiful
I am surprised Blancpain and Ulysse Nardin were not included in the list. Two great watch brands that deserve to be included.
Seiko 7548-7000 and Rolex 116610ln are only two watches I've got. Regardless of the fact that one is a hundred times more costly than the other, I love and enjoy them both all the same.
More accurately, we need a brand ranking based on price range.
Best brands under $2000...under $5000...under $10000.
Why don’t you talk about Jaquet Droz. Not many people talk about it, it’s not my cup of tea but some of their watches are ….. can you say kinda impressive but in its own way.
Blancpain and Nomos should be rated, I think. Interesting list. Also, if Seiko is luxury (I can’t say some of their models aren’t), what about Casio’s Oceanus line? As always, entertaining video.
Specifically, the OCW-S4000 S/C models.
Poor Blancpain. Even the watch snobs forget about them sometimes.
seiko as a whole is way better than rolex... that is combining seiko, king seiko, grand seiko and credor...
where is Blancpain? Absolutely needs to be on the list. Fifty Fathoms first real diver watch.
Brilliant boys. I agree about the RM. No history; ridiculous prices. The order is going to drive a few people I know mad. Well done. Thanks guys

A bit transparently trolling, this video. Clearly they want to create some uproar just for engagement.
No-one would seriously put Seiko at the top. Or even Cartier that high, as it is still such a luxury brand despite its history and a few nice watches. And Panerai up that high? Clearly trolling.
Oh, and Audemars Piguet way down low is just a step too far even for jokingly trolling lists.
I've worn rolexes for years and fell for the blind hype about the case comfort and the watch finishing...
I just bought and started wearing a gold mid-sized Cartier Santos, and I can honestly say that I didn't know what "comfortable" was until now.
Try out everything... you never know what will truly agree with you until you give it a chance.
Great comment
Agree, I tried iwc and wont go back to Rolex now
The Santos is a lovely watch. Well wear
Seiko at the top!!!!! You bought me forever with that ☝🏻💪🏻😉
Seiko is literal shit. Like the lexus wich is made by toyota and asks Mercedes Benz money, a literal scam lol. Japanese are famous for this and this guy seems to be paid by them
@@ivangamer8022 oh, some real words of wisdom. Thank you so very much! You sure does bright up the conversation 👌🏻
my last three watch purchases ... Grand Seiko SLGA001, Panerai PAM21064, SBGY007... very happy with the brands...
Love the video but Seiko is NOT a luxury brand and should not be on this list. Breguet is disrespected. I’m not even a fan of their watches but as a brand they cannot be below Tudor and Longines, or even Panerai or Breitling. I’d slot them in right under IWC. I’d also swap Cartier and IWC, with Breguet between IWC and Cartier.
Breguet > Cartier > IWC
Tissot is also not a luxury brand. It’s right under.
Can you guys make same list but strictly based on current horology? No taking street cred or history into the account, simply horology per dolar value?
This would be really interesting
Now that VC, ALS, and PP are on the list. I'm now loving it.
Big Grand Seiko fan but where is CASIO?
... or Citizen.

How can you miss Breguet???
Jaeger leCoultre need to be above VC and maybe even Lange. I'm German, so that counts twice. ;-)
Why JLC a above VC?
@@rey_s90 Although VC are an accomplished high end watchmaker, imo they can't hold a candle to JLC's innovations and elegance in construction and style.
Grand Seiko is not a student who tries to prove himself, but the master teaching those swiss boys how to make a proper watch!
*hybrid watch
This, LOL. I count Grand Seiko as Seiko, and in terms of longevity, heritage and technical achievements they dwarf 85% of this list.
Spring Drive alone is a marvel.
*Bracelet accepting 😉
Grand Seiko is the master teaching watchmaking, but they are very much a student in terms of learning to essentially rebuild a BRAND from scratch. Doing well, but definitely hitting some hurdles here and there along the way. I love em, I own two, but definitely some aspects like series consolidation, website, and marketing they've gotta sort out.
Seiko is literal shit. Like the lexus wich is made by toyota and asks Mercedes Benz money, a literal scam lol. Japanese are famous for this and this guy seems to be paid by them

It's interesting that you would place Longines just below Tissot.
Hmmm..... none the less, a tough decision.
Here's a kicker....in my opinion I would have placed ORIS above Tssot ! (noting ORIS is conspicuously absent...in my humble opinion.)
I see Tissot as I see Seiko....and I would have the latest greatest Tissot Seastar 1000 Pro....over the best Seiko has to offer. I just love the casework finishing and dial and and ....color and ...etc
Regarding ORIS....I can kind of see how perhaps it's just not their time yet.
Though ORIS is on the move.
(and yeah, I'm an ORIS fanboy with two in my collection).
Finally....where is Blancpain?
So that's it and that's all I wanted to say thanks......
And as for my humble addiction....I owe it all to you guys and Jody over at "just one more watch".... Your two channels were my first introduction to horology and the joys of owning just as many bloody watches as one can afford responsibly...Fun stuff indeed !
We're all grateful that you're out there.
Thanks a lot.
Be well.....peace.
Carl, the gafferboy38
You had me at Oris.
Longines, ORIS, Tissot in that order. (Longines being on top)
You guys should put out a poll, that way you’d have your rankings in a distribution that is more agreed-upon
Quite often A. Lange & sohne excels at producing excellent luxury dashboard gauges for modern luxury cars usually a bit less aware of the sacred geometry of the human anatomy and obviously in favour of a rather industrial elegance than Patek designers have so far been. I absolutely appreciate their reliability though ! Just my opinion!
Going from the macro shots of the VC 222 to the GS Snowflake, all of the sudden the finishing of the VC looks shoddy in comparison. Edit: appears the VC shown is a vintage example, not a modern 222.
GS looks like a 3D computer rendering, it's so freakin' perfect.
VC 222 under macro looks like a tidy Seiko 5
My GS White Birch almost mesmerizes me every time I look at it. Insanely flawless finishing
This are macro shots of the > 40 year old vintage model, 222 “jumbo”. It’s not their new model Historique 222. You can tell the difference by the position of the date window. Now models have exquisit finishing. They should have mentioned this in their video that these are macro shots of a vintage model.
Was wondering when I saw the Maltese Cross on the 222’s dial with a nick in it. I almost died! Now it makes sense it’s the vintage one! 😮💨
Great list, maybe add Glashütte Original, Blancpain, Rado, Piaget, Chopard, Nomos, Oris, Sinn, Mido, Orient
Blancpain and GP as well

If it’s your favourite you might start by spelling it right? 😉
@@fettlemaster your correct I dropped the E , 🤭
Seiko and Casio (from Nico's side) definitely the best value and many will feel their collections are now highly elevated. Btw, you guys should get your hands on the Casio Oceanus T200 or S100 ... or both. You might be surprised by what you find 🤘🏻
I realise this a list for luxury watches, but I'd love to see where you rank iconic and influential brands such as Casio, Timex, Citizen, Swatch and Hamilton amongst those on your list.
you nailed it. I would of been happier with casio at the top, as I think for most at somepoint they have owned one or it was how got into watches in first place
@@leejones1782 I think casio should be near the top but I think Seiko is still the top, Seikos ability to go from bomb proof beaters to highly accurate solid priced watches to high beat to spring drive to bring quartz to the market to tourbillons will forever cement them as the best watch maker
Remember: they are watch salesmen, and at least right now their store doesn't seem to be selling, Citizen, Timex or Swatch. Though I do have to give them credit for Seiko's placement as I cant see those for sale on their site either (they do sell Grand Seiko though)
The Breguet Classique is a hit.
OMEGA #1!!!

So glad Seiko is at the top. Best watch brand in the world.
Seiko is literal shit. Like the lexus wich is made by toyota and asks Mercedes Benz money, a literal scam lol. Japanese are famous for this and this guy seems to be paid by them
Great Video guys and thanks for listening to my comments. You got 4 of my 5 previously suggested, Vacheron Constantin, A Lange & Sohne, Grand Seiko & Longines but you missed Credor?
Mb&F, Konstantin Chaykin, Bell & Ross maybe as well.
I will continue to collect my Ball watches.
I love Oris and would probably toss them between Longines and Tissot. Lots of industry cred, stellar reputation, good build quality, constantly attempting to innovate and try new things. Unlike Longines, they do definitely have a signature model or two. But unlike Tissot with the PRX, they don’t have a game-changer.
I would love to see Oris release a 44mm and 42mm Big Crown ProPilot with the caliber 400 inside, no date (all 12 numerals), lume tipped second hand (either red or white), in titanium, bronze, stainless steel, and carbon with clear caseback. The closest thing to this that they sell is the Coulson, but I’d love to see my requested upgrades to their iconic tool watch. They could charge $3,000 - $5,000 for that and make competitors sweat.
This is the most accurate watch ranking I've ever seen. Which isn't a high bar and utterly, entirely subjective, but congratulations!
Yes! I have two pieces of the most luxurious and desirable brands!
"Oh, you have a JLC? That's nice. Have you seen my Seiko 5? Limited edition to 11,000 pieces."
“I’m putting Seiko at the top!”
Ciao tutti
😂😂😂😂
the zoomed in view of the vacheron doesn’t do it any favours, you can see light scratches on the markers and hands, the edges of both of those aren’t sharp as there are bumps and nicks. And the lume bits are poorly applied. For a luxury brand you’d expect the dial (the part you look at the most) to be free of these flaws
I want to say breguet have some great hits. But unfortunately they are on golden oldies AM radio, the kids have only heard a reference to by a professor in a netflix drama
If Seiko is at the top, the least you can do is skew it slightly in tribute to their invariably misaligned bezels.
If its not misaligned, its not a seiko!
Signature wabi-sabi design🤪
If It’s luxury Watch ranking, then there shouldnt be Seiko, nor Casio.

This video was all about correcting the mistakes in the first episode - Needs a character to acknowledge your mistakes and fix them. Well done!
Of course the previous list was silly without A Lange, VC, Breguet, FP Journe, Zenith and Seiko/Grand Seiko.
Let me say "But you've missed out " 😁😁😁
That impression of the horn was impeccable.
I noticed that too. Was it live or Memorex? Real voice or edited effect?
Missing w/o specific order Blancpain, H. Moser, Glashütte Original, Girard Perregaux, Oris, Fortis, Sinn, Nomos, Ulyssee Nardin, MB&F, Jacob & Co, Chopard, Parmigiani Fleurier just to name a few. You will surely find the wrong places in your ranking for these...
Interesting additions and positioning, but where are Blancpain one of the oldest watch makers in your list ??
Not convinced seiko is a luxury brand.
I really enjoyed this video for some reason and - you won't believe this - I agree with the rankings 😄
That VC watch had a ding on the bezel lol. I’d have a heart attack
…and a nice gouge in the cross on the dial.
And many more. Finishing is just terrible
The lume is bubbly and uneven as well. Overall, I was very disappointed by the VC 222 in the video.
@@u.d.7543 you do realize that it’s a 50 years old watch right? And that the cross is most likely scratched during handling of a watch maker.
@@rashakor it’s vintage.
A few more: Arnold & Son, Blancpain, Bovet, Bvlgari, Casio, Citizen, Girard-Perregaux, Glashütte Original, Hamilton, H. Moser & Cie, Jaquet-Droz, L.U.Chopard, MB&F, Nomos, Oris, Parmigiani Fleurier, Piaget, Rado, Sinn, TAG Heuer, Timex, Ulysse Nardine, Uwerk, Zodiac
I kind of think that if you included Seiko you should have included Citizen(?)
Also, you totally ignored the elephant in the room. A brand that has so many iconic models, so much cred, is extremely recognisable not to mention (mostly) extremely affordable and in many ways (in my opinion) has rewritten the rules in modern horology.
Yet, let us all turn our noses up in derision because they are all quartz.
That brand is of course Casio..👍
Seiko brought the quartz watch to market and they were on the list...
We need casio in the list
Noobie here, would you please make a list on stealth wealth brands?
As an owner of a Seiko, an Omega, and shopping a Grand Seiko, I'm pretty pleased with the list!!
…So, no mention of Blancpain? It has existed (although not really through the quartz crisis, but still…) since 1735, invented the world’s first dive watch (the Fifty Fathoms), having NEVER made a quartz watch and NEVER will, make the world's smallest automatic movement by the name 615 with a diameter of 15,7mm by 3,9mm thick which has 180 components and a silicone hairspring and 38 hrs power reserve, they created the world's smallest moon-phases display, created the world's thinnest self-winding chronograph and the smallest minute-repeater movement at the time, created the world's thinnest split-second chronograph at the time, produced the world's first self-winding tourbillon and perpetual calendar with an eight-day power reserve, came up with the world’s first wristwatch to be equipped with a traditional Chinese calendar, and their Carrousel Volant Une Minute is not only the world’s first flying carousel but also the first automatic one with a power reserve of 120 hours no less, they have the patent for the system of under-lug correctors (relevant for annual or perpetual calendar watches) and created the “Tourbillon Semainier” which is an unprecedented combination of complications with a 7-day power reserve AND they have their own department making bespoke watches for VIP clients in their Metiers d’Arts where their artisans perform finishing operations using stones, files, burnishers, buffs and emery paper, even on components that will remain hidden from view! AND most of the above-mentioned inventions have been in the last 40 years of their existence. Blancpain is by many regarded as a brand that deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as the “holy trinity” brands even, so with all due respect, it should maybe feature on the list at least….
So much expert level trolling here boys, well done

All Swiss watches ,, haven’t you left out Grand Seiko and Lange & Sone
"Worst" is the wrong term to use in this context - unless it was chosen as a deliberate trigger. There is no "worst" in your list - they are all excellent, with some more-so than others.
Strongly agree. They are all excellent. Many men have worked their entire career to be able to reward themselves with the least expensive offerings on this list. Many have been awarded for giving their work lives to a company with an engraved Timex. If providing housing, nourishment, and education to my family meant that I could only buy a $200 Seiko, I would thoroughly enjoy that watch.
The type xx or xxi are just..ughhhhh...who wouldnt get it in full gold over a steel daytona for the same price? One of the most satisfying watches to look at IMO
I got my type XXI mint condition for £3,700 (in 2016 so a while ago) but always thought it was outstanding value
You're going to have to have another go at this!
Chopard
Ball
Zodiac
Doxa
Hamilton
Boulova
Glasshutte Original
Zenith
Bulgari
Ulysse Nardin
H Moser and Cie
Vacheron Constantin finally gets mentioned?? However, to be clear, I would put them at the top. Not just "one of the oldest brands", but the oldest brand that’s been in continuous business, the entire time since their inception. They make less than half the number of watches that PP and AP make, and without all the unnecessary "street cred" ..
I love VC, but its quality is hit or miss and some watch series are inherently fragile based on personal experience with the brand.
Seiko. The GOAT of the watchmaking world. Creating everyday luxuries for everyone!
What is the Seiko showed in the video?
Mine ;-)
Seiko is literal shit. Like the lexus wich is made by toyota and asks Mercedes Benz money, a literal scam lol. Japanese are famous for this and this guy seems to be paid by them
I like the respect thwy gave to Alange, really top watch making, I would put them above patek since basically they do better finishing/quality watches. but I can agree, street credit goes to patek more popular
Would love to see Frédérique constant, I feel like they are changing the watch game!
Seiko is... well Seiko, Grand Seiko and Credor. Those 3 make so many different models every year that if you dont find one you like? Then you most likely dont like watches ;) Ah.. and Orient is under Seiko to...
Looking at what Bulgari has achieved in the last 10 years, how much innovation they’ve put in their watches, I believe it would be fair to include them in the list.
Love the fact you put Seiko on top. But seriously Zenith and Breguet above TAG Heuer? I don't think so.
Tag is better based on what? Quality of zenith and especially breguet is much higher than any Tag (even their tourbillons).. Breguet has a longer and much more reputable history than Tag and even Zenith is only about 5 years younger than TAG lol.
I am really glad that you give Seiko such a high place. I am into watch world due to that brand. Because, it matters when you can afford it! And no one can beat them in affordability!!! Yeah, Rolex is Rolex, no doubt, but when you cannot buy it, it is just a words or something like that.
Seiko is literal shit. Like the lexus wich is made by toyota and asks Mercedes Benz money, a literal scam lol. Japanese are famous for this and this guy seems to be paid by them
Orient.
Seiko (and Tissot) are great value, but in no way are they "luxury"!
@@ChrisGBusby I am agree with you. They are not luxury. But, from horology point of view, they have their place among Swiss brands.
@@user-xd5tx3rq2i i agree. orient has some amazing watches.. the finish on them is amazing. they need more recognition and have also been around for a long time
I can’t overlook Seiko’s QC issues (never had a perfectly aligned bezel on a
Seiko dive watch), and gradually using lesser movements than they used to in the same price bracket.
Re the VC 222, the western portion of the dial's applied logo is all effed up...wth???
Brands for the third episode: Chopard, Blancpain, Baumé & Mercier, Jacob & Co, Nomos, Glashutte, Girard Perregaux, Hamilton
What, no mention of Glasshute Original?
Once you wear a Breguet, you’ll stick it right at the top and leave it there. ;)
Another fun video. Have you guys looked at some lesser known mid-tier brands like Cuervo y Sobrinos, Minase, Epos, Towson Watch Company, etc....?
My list would eliminate the "street cred" category. This would rearrange the list significantly.
Funny how Swatch has casually been dropped by all watch salesmens' content. I guess they really pissed off all the salesmen and flippers with their refusal to expand online sales and decision to focus on their own boutiques?
