I don’t understand this mentality, sure there’s bad AAA games but currently it’s like 60 percent good 40 percent bad and even if not it would just be 40 good, 60 bad, which is still pretty good stats for the amount of games that come out each year. Every year for a while we’ve had at least 8 amazing games except like 2021 and even that had some good ones.

The catch is will be 4x bigger that the released game or will be 4x bigger than the original map that had to be cut out with is twice as big than we have available in the first game
I'll go for the Sphynx chests, but we've already been told, I believe by the IGN players, that the items in the chests aren't exactly equipment, but something closer to special items. I don't remember exactly what they said, or which video it was.
Also probably one of the downsides of the Warfarer would be weight management. Yes DD1 has a weight management system. If you made a character that's quite bulky and big, they tend to have high weight limit. Weight also affects how fast you can run/dash or how often you might get flown away when enemies attack you with a heavy attack.
Does anyone know if this game will have good replay value? Like you can role play a good or evil character in the world and change events depending on your choices ?
Don't know about good or evil character stuff but the lore of the original game was about the world being stuck in an endless cycle and the replay value was the name of the game because it was really easy to miss or fail quests on the first run.
Watching the trickster made me think of what the pink or purple class could be. This is only a theory on my part a little bit of filling in time until it’s release, but maybe the class could be called mystic? And in that way say purple or pink mix’s with the fighter (red) and make mystic knight (purple&red) that way they can have mystic spearhand and mystic knight in DD2. And it can be it’s own thing that now can be mixed with say for example the archer or assassin
dragons dogma 1 is on of my favorite game i still play it from time to time. I realy hope DD 2 have a cool openworld too and lots of stuff to discover, and also some cool weapons like in the frist game. Like a staff witch have the skill tp hover and many more things. I'm realy excited for DD 2

I wasn’t aware the legion ran on magic. I guess it also depends on the level of witch, wizard or warlock you are but sleep & maybe a replenishing potion (they usually serve it on planes in limited amounts) that also helps with sleep…
I've recently started playing the first one and it's a little hard to stick to it since I'm on the Switch, but I'm looking forward to this. I probably won't get it day one, I'll definitely wait since I have a pretty big backlog and not a lot of time to play due to work. But This game makes me try to get out of my comfort zone and try different play styles than I normally would. The warrior class, and sorcerer especially.

I really hope the pawn directions are very specific...that would be a big improvement over the aimless wandering into overpowered areas of the 1st game. I'm gonna have to hear a review that confirms they've improved direction in this thing before I give capcom my $.
The warfarer can only use 3 weapons at a time, as per its vocation symbol. It cannot use all of them at once, nor would it be ideal given upgrade costs
Definitely not a vocation you use during early to mid game due to that reason, end game tho is where i think it’ll shine most. Either way its looking like a solid vocation if you’re confident once its unlocked.(if it even needs to be unlocked but i think it may be op to have at the start imo)

I just don't see the fun in it though. Being in the back supporting the pawns just seems lame, especially when it comes to bosses with high HP. AI isn't that useful in moments like those.@@themorganrobertson
@@Azp3ct-x4d It's the same with the hunting horn from MH. It's mainly a support, and it's an acquired taste. Keep in mind that we don't know the extent of the trickster's powers. It can buff pawns, yes, but that's not all it does. It can turn enemies against each other, it can conjure fake walls and floors. It can summon an illusory dragon and scare enemies into unconsciousness. And that's only the stuff we've been shown. It's a new vocation, we don't know what other skills it has.
You can also just leave them dead if you want to do a solo run. My first run I won't do that, but not sure on second, pawns may add to much to the game to kill them off in this title.
Last month I got into Skyrim for the first time. I hope this game will be its soul successor because it was the best game I had played that entire year and so far this year

Dragon Dogma must be so great in its own right you don’t want it to be like Skyrim, and you want it to improve on what it already established My perspective was that I want a game as enjoyable as Skyrim. Where it has immense immersion, replayability, detail, and choices. If that is something that the original and the sequel can deliver I’m all for it. I know for a fact that it already has better combat, and follower system just from basic research. As I said haven’t played the original, so I have yet to encounter any game that put me in so much awe in the way Skyrim has.
If the romance system is much better than Dark Arisen, this game will already be insanely better than Dark Arisen. I ended up with that guy merchant at the end of the game and didn’t play the post game because of that. It completely ruined my fight against the dragon too. If they fixed the romance system? Ima be even more excited for this sequel! Also, it’ll be cool if another quick level up farm is discovered like the old version.
It could be a bit of what magic archer and assasin were. Both able to use weapons from different vocations, yet not having access to the high end skills of given vocations.
Thank god for Baldurs Gate 3 making every rpg making company step their shit up. We’re about to get a different quality of games moving forward. Can’t wait for this game.

I played like 100+hrs of dark arisen in prep for this release. I’m gonna miss my darling Mystic Knight, but I’m hoping there’s a way to substitute the game feel with warfarer. Nothings gonna top the feel of dropping a couple Great Cannons, prepping blessed riposte, getting a perfect party on top of them and letting loose the magical Gatling guns lol

Why do people keep acting like the health mechanism is new? You took permanent damage that could only be healed by potions or rest in DDDA
