Today I fire up my rig, jump on the old Corpo-Tube and here is your video! Providence. I played for a while and even my straight lace wife thought it was funny as hell. She works for the government and her nickname there is the Ice Queen. So yeah, she can be a tough crowd. Good game for a laugh!!

I mean like the only reason they get payed is to take responsibility, they are the scapegoats but even that they can't do, instead the underpayed and overworked devs get the hate and the layoff.

That mix of sarcastic, highly self-aware developer humour, with puns & visual gags so childishly silly that you'd either reflexively groan or trigger a giggling fit that you couldn't explain (like the gnome)... and half the fun was never knowing which way your reaction would go. I miss those Sierra games.
Man, I wish more channels would discover Sir Whoopass - literally one of the wildest games in the last few years. The humor can be a little forced obviously, but most of the time it lands pretty good and best of all, the gameplay is good enough and the game is FUN. Which is the whole point of games after all, to have fun.
@@najfen I never got into the "endgame" much because when I first played it at release, it was um, buggy and while I waited for a few patches I never got much past a certain point sadly. That being said I do go back from time to time either when a new patch or content gets added (it's been a while now of course) and try to get a little further in lol
The first sword should have broke immediately on first swing, and you have to use that as the weapon instead. Imagine getting the weapon, then doing what all players do, and swing it around to get a feel for it, and the blade just yeets off to the stratosphere and the game does literally nothing to address this X'D And when you look in the items description, its just taunting the player with something like 'if only you didnt swing it so recklessly. . .'

I'd love to know how many players got run over by the boulder because they let the song play out... not the ones who intentionally died to see what message the devs roasted you with, but the players who were giggling so much at the musical gag that they mistimed the dodge and got flattened by mistake. Knowing the type of players this game would attract, there would have to be a few!

Mitch, you also bring a level of fun to games, and having recently discovered you, watch everything you do. I even pause and call my wife to "come watch this video", even if I'm home alone. Don't worry, home fans usually can't do that. At least, assuming it doesn't have sharp metal blades. My fan has wood blades and all it does is thump me a bit if I put my hand it. It hurts, but not dangerous.
