If you enjoy a cigarette vibe, floral street has two that you should sniff. First, Ylang Ylang Espresso and second, which is even more dark but so good is black lotus. They both have a sexy, lipstick and cigarette feel and then their own unique twist! They aren’t mass appealing but they are definitely intoxicating!

Not very but quite a bit. I‘d say the EdT is more berry and lighter. The EdP is more vintagey- I prefer this one. Used to have both, but sold the EdP. That’s my opinion of course 😀
I just realized something!! Had to pause at 14:44. So yes I am of course one of those that also bought Insolence because of you around a year ago. This fall I bought the Bouheron - Quatre En Rose and it gives me the exact same fairy vibes just with roses instead of violet. They are suddenly so similar for me, never haven't realized it before. And I have the "I am thankfull for this perfume" feeling when I smell the Bouheron one haha. :D Do you find them similar or is it just me? xo
You made me want Insolence so bad and when I bought it... i'm scared of it 😿 It's so strong. I smell like my dog when I pick him up from the spa. 😭 Why do my country make dog soap which smell like Insolence, it ruined the scent 😭 The bottle is gorgeous though.
Some people have the ability to smell the notes in perfumes and smell all the layers and depth. When I first started wearing perfumes my nose wasn't as finely tuned. It's like pregnancy nose. Not all scents smell the same to all people and not all scents smell the same on all people.
Never bought anything from Guerlain due to Mr. Guerlain racist statement. And I'm sad the brand never suffered from it, but anyway, I have to admit that your description of Insolence is really appealling and I can see why people were influenced to buy it lol

This statement is still in my memory after all these years, as I heard it live on national TV (I'm French and it happened during the news). The whole Guerlain "aesthetics", "history" was ruined forever for me, especially since a lot of their perfumes are inspired by north Africa or middle East. And to me, Virgil Abloh's position was not a proof that times changed, it's like saying "I'm not racist, I have (insert skin colour/nationality/origins here) friends" ...
I have to admit, I bought Insolence because of this channel, but I didn't like it. I get that old lady scent, and the powdery note is too overwhelming. So be careful if you want to buy it, I would recommend trying it first.
