If I were to compare you to a fragrance, out of these, Versace Crystal noir would be my pick. To my nose, this is a very sexy, clean scent. The ginger gives it a coolness that makes it wearable through the hotter months, too. This one reminds me of a sexy, fresh out of the shower clean/masculine vibe.
Yes! I think I must smell the ginger a lot because it seems spicier/more masculine on my skin.
Buying perfume and blind buying gives me so much euphoric feelings. I wish I could find something else that does that wasn’t so pricey lol

My Crystal noir story; I wasn’t sure about it tested a couple of times. Had a bottle then decluttered it impulsively but was constantly missing it. One day I was at the store, I sprayed it in the air ‘a la reviewer’ style because I missed the smell 😂 an Aussie WHITE gentleman next to me smelt it and asked if it was an oud fragrance? And I said no, it’s a spicy floral but I can understand some middle eastern nuances with the cardamom note there.. he said it smelt divine and very classy 🤷♀️. Another person behind him also proceeded to ask for the fragrance name. Needless to say, that made me rebuy CN on the spot 😂 and it has been good old reliable for days I want to chill and not overthink my fragrance. Versace’s offerings don’t cut it for me anymore now that I’ve slowly dabbled into niche but they make great gym / easy reach fragrances if you consider it from that angle. Some would consider them signature worthy because they perform well projection and sillage wise. That said, you’re right not many from the house are outstanding because of that soapy aquatic undertone that runs through most of their fragrances. I hope you end up liking it eventually! I kept it around for the fact that I kept getting nice compliments whenever I get into the lift wearing it 😂😂

I love your fragrance descriptions! They are 10/10! I want to try Satine! No one talks about it but the bottle is such a vibe. Crystal Noir smelled like a hair salon to me; I sold my decant.
I just got Crystal Noir and had the same surprised reaction as you! It smells a bit spicy, woody, fresh. I definitely don't get the deep, dark, creamy vibes everyone talks about...That being said I actually still love it, and I've had a few comments saying that it's super sexy.

I think you’ll like Crystal Noir on the dry down, it’s much softer and warmer once it sits for a bit! I’m a gourmand, warm floral lover and I like crystal noir in the spring, summer, and fall.
Many people say that Alaïa Nude smells like Crystal Noir, but classier and a little more toned down. You may want to give that one a shot!

You have to try Lalique Le Parfum...very fuzzy tonka beany, just gorg!!! I adore Joy Intense, adore it! I think the vanilla is just oxidized.

Feminite du Bois has a place in my heart as it was one of my first SLs. You describe Satine perfectly. I also recommend Lalique le Parfum: it has such an interesting interplay between the bay top, a plummy middle and classic vanilla and sandalwood base.
The two fragrance houses I’d love you to explore are Vilhelm Parfumerie (maybe Poets of Berlin) and DS & Durga (some potent androgynous numbers). Xx

I used to wear Organza when I was a sophomore at college. I really liked it but the longevity on me was disappointing. If you like this kind of fragrances you might like ange ou demon also by Givenchy. The bottle is beautiful and the longevity is very decent. I also wore obsession by Calvin Clein the original eau de parfum. I personally liked it a lot and to me it smelled like cinnamon which I adore.
Yes, Ange ou Demon come to mind. Very lovely fragrance and Obsession is divine, super powerful and kick ass kind of fragrance. You have great taste ❤
If you like plastichy sexy scents you should try Play by givenchy (the opaque lilac bottle)

Love serge lutens un bois vanille, not sure if you have it or tried it.crystal noir had to grow on me,but I have the edp.the dry down and the coconut in it is great but more for night time.tiziana terenzi kirke is such a good lily ,fruity,tropical,vanilla you have to get your nose on it,it's great!

You might have liked Crystal Noir in the EDP version more, (to me) it's a lot darker and heavier and less soapy

And you may try the Versace EDP it’s darker and it’s not soapy as the EDT
La Maison de Vanille is very underrated. I love them. Blue Oia is beautiful.
I have Feminite du bois by Shiseido. Serge Lutens created it. Shiseido discontinued it and Serge L. republished it. It really reminds me of CD Dolce Vita, like a wintery version of it.
I really need to get a bottle of Organza, my Mum wore it 20 years ago.
Black Crystal didn’t really work for me, unfortunately. I think it’s unique though and might give it another try.

Fragrances with vanilla darken over time, so I wouldn't worry that your bottle of Joy was left in the sun. :)

I recently got Satine by Lalique after doing some research about it. It seemed to be a very pleasant fragrance for most people and I liked how it was described, like totally my taste. So it was a blind buy.
Unfortunately the only thing my nose can detect is the pepper in it. It smells like a pepper shaker fell into a bowl of deodorant.

Satine by Lalique is by far what Pink sugar could be. it's Mon Guerlain version, unisex definitely not totally feminine as I expected by your description:))) At least was cheap and I got the 30 ml version, I will use it in the bathroom but I wait for the winter, now it makes me vomiting.

Versace Crystal Noir with absolutely nothing like I thought it was going to be. You're right it is extremely clean and that's about it honestly. I thought it was going to be like a sexy night time fragrance, nope.
