Such an amazing poet is Paul Simon!
Art has got some soulful and heartfelt talent. I always listened to this growing up. In the 80's on a hippy community.
But long B4 I knew the. Precise meaning at a young age of all lyrical verses
Yet I always sing homeward bound whenever I hear it.
Special and stormy chemistry these two guys have 2gether
Both absolute legends in their own rights
I love how Garfunkel dresses when performing, jeans and some shirt, it’s so casual
These duo taught us that no matter how far they go, in their different ways, still music can bring them together and this song reminds us that friendship is something that we should treasure, and that's how magical the music it is. :)
Are u filipino?
@@NB20079 yes. I am 😅💪🇵🇭
Two of the greatest singers ever.
When they came back together and harmonised, my heart swelled. Beautiful
Yes!
why did you copy someone else's comment?
Das sind noch Musiker!
Ein Live Auftritt mit diesen Stimmen und einem Text mit Tiefgang. .....
Mir stehen die Tränen in den Augen.
Grüsse Aus Deutschland.
One of the best voices of all time. Art.💙💙
There are zero artists that compare to these two gentlemen ❤️❤️❤️
Gentlemen?
This is definitely one of THE Songs of all time, by Art Garfunkel, especially when he sang it alone at the Pop Concert in Central Park many years ago.
Kudos to the pianist as well. Awesome
Art Garfunkel focusses so intensely on the perfection he puts out,he actually looks depleted. The miracle that is these voices.Still after all these years...classic wonderful.
Love them both! Art Garfunkle's voice is truly sublime and his pitch is impeccable. Goose Bumps.
I love this song.....plus part of it is quoted in my yearbook ......from 1970 "Sail on silver girl, sail on by...."
Hello Gail
The way Paul steps back respectfully and lets Art take this soaring to the end says alot.
Pure vocals,no ear plugs either
As being through some kinds of trauma in life, I'm devastated. And their voices gently embrace my broken heart
Garfunkel gave my goosebumps goosebumps, still a magical talent.
They spoke to an entire generation and continue to do so. Namaste
I can’t stop my self from having teary eyes while listening to the song as I remember my happy childhood in the late 70’ to early 90’s and wishing I can travel back and enjoy the simple life with my family.
Such a beautiful gift, this song. I was a young child when this song was written and released. Heard it on the radio for years and always liked it but only been recently could comprehend how remarkable it is. I grew up in a difficult home at times, but at 57, facing even tougher battles. When you have experienced trauma or hit rock bottom, you can truly understand how profound this song is and your heart aches for some comfort.
One of the most beautiful songs ever written and recorded. Simon & Garfunkel, incredible duet and songwriters. They don’t make them like this anymore.
Thank you for helping the troubled souls out there.
많이 시간이 흘러 들어도 변함이 없는 명곡을 들을수 있어 감사합니다
No theatrics, no half naked women, just pure quality on stage
Bless you!
Love the harmony.. Love the clear enunciation.. Love the Lyrics.. God Bless them Both
Yes, you can actually hear all the words
