Harrison was a great guitarrist and shared qualities with both. And Ringo is a perfect drummer. Queen had moderate lyrical talent very good musical talent a good gutarist and the best vocalist. They are almost even but John Lennon was a better lyrical writer Paul McCartney was a better story teller (and probably among the most brilliant musicians of the 20th century) Harrison is about equal to the Queen's guitarist. But he is a better song writer. The Beatles just have the edge. I think they are both great.
Every single time that Paul McCartney is present in a concert or even just doing an interview, there is such a joy that is present! He literally lights up the room when he appears. I can't stand the thought of a world without Paul McCartney. Can we please clone him?

I wished he would one day write songs with real grit but it wasn't in his destiny due to his massive success as a Beatle. I am happy for his family that they had the best of a good man.
