I saw them in 93 or 94 in Toronto for the United way concert with Gordon Lightfoot and Blue Rodeo as well. To see these two perform is rare and special. Was the best concert I have ever seen and Art stole the show with Bridge over Troubled Water. Unbelievable night. If you get a chance, go see them. They won't be around forever.

They probably performed it with no autotuning (obviously), but then once the started editing the audio for the dvd release (or whatever it was) then they can autotune their individual voices in individual spots. Listen to their performance of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" at the same show and you can quite clearly hear autotuned parts.
A lot of talk of Garfunkel sounding autotune or how he had voice issues etc....for many years i sang as a soprano 1 (highest notes) and won many awards. In 2008 I got the flu (undiagnosed until it was close to fatal) and was put on a ventilator for a week. It damaged my vocal chords so bad I can no longer hit those high notes, hold my breath, hum that high etc. Its painful to realize I no longer can sing like I once could. Could I fight/train to get it back? Id hope so but its a horrible feeling to realize that talent no longer comes natural. So I feel for him despite if he's using help or not.

@littlegeetz No, your are not born in a wrong period. Music is not dying. Maybe you are born in a time when it´s ok to play "commercial" music. Music are not going to dy it´s just kind of different. I´m nearly the 50 and I still love all kind of music.

You can't isolate one voice track in a live show with two live miles side by side. You'd kill the thing. Try Big Talent with top vocal coaching. See how Art doesn't touch certain lines? Weak spots arranged out.
I adore simon and garfunkel but does anyone else think Paul's guitar is horribly out of tune. From 1.10 onwards it just sounds horrible to me. I actually think they have a glance at each other when he hits the low e string at 1.13 when he realise's its out.
