- Using a waterbrush has opened my eyes to being able to create anywhere. In this video you will see how I mix colors, paint one color into another to make a soft transition, how to mix shadows and more. Thanks for watching and please comment on what you would like to see.

Beautiful painting! It's so helpful to hear you talk through your thought process and how you solve problems as you go.

My pleasure 😊
Ok wow this is amazing! I got some watercolors and despite the fact that I’ve worked with just about every medium from paint to mosaic, jewelry, resin, etc, something got me interested in watercolor. Your tutorials help make it a little less intimidating… thank you, Kari!
This is seriously so good! I love hearing you talk your way through everything… that makes me feel like I’m on the right track with my thinking as you go. I have subscribed. Thank you again.
I appreciate your comment beyond words! It makes my heart sing😃The purpose of this channel was to help others on their art journey, and I'm so thankful you found this beneficial. I have actually planned to do demos for the next few weeks, so more to come. Thank you, thank you, for subscribing.

This was one of the books you shared at Wildacres!Love seeing this demo!
Yes, it was! Glad you recognized it.🙂
Beautiful leaf. I was hoping the white prismacolor would work as a resist. I guess it didn’t. A clear wax crayon?
That would work better as a resist, but i find it is sometimes too thick.i now try to paint around a lighter color or add a white gel pen when the paint is dry and paint a light color over that.
Hope things are well with you. Are you oung to the Smokies in September for their plein air event?
Good point about thickness. Not sure about the Smokies. Would love to go again. So much has gone on. Brother passed on and I am dealing with that so time has flown by. Are you going? James Guerney! Wow!
@kstutz230 Yes, I'm going. Even volunteering.
@@KariWaltzyay!
@kstutz230 i was rereading some of my comments, i think i skimmed to fast the first time and missed the news of your brother. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I apologize that I didn't send condolences earlier.
I'm currently sitting in my studio, trying to get myself started again. Plan to film a few this week and then keep it up.
