I have a lot of water brushes, from different brands. Pentel ones have the nicest bristles, they keep a nice point, even after a few years. The Caran d Ache ones are nice too, and I like the design, but Pentel are the best!
@@jannahlyon I guess you could fill the reservoir handles with coloured water, or any other free-flowing liquid for even application of a wash without dipping...hmmm...
I go to the thrift store, always can find white ceramic dishes and trays…one of my favorite palettes is a dish made for deviled eggs that I think I got at a yard sale for $1.
Nice! Thank you for the detailed review! Can I ask which do you prefer between the Sakura and Pentel brush and what would be the difference between them. I have the Sakura one but I'm also getting curious about the Pentel one :D
Hi, I actually really like the Sakura brush, I think it is pretty comparable to the Pentel ones of similar size, although after using them all for a while now I would say that my Sakura one is holding up a better - it does have the added bonus of being able to break apart with the little stopper that is included which is nice. I would think if you want extra sizes then the Pentels are a good choice, but you are not missing much in my opinion if you are using the Sakura :)
@@jannahlyon Thank you for the reply! The Sakura brush feels pretty good. So yes, I might stick to it until it brakes or something. Again, thanks so much! 💖
I think I got it from JoAnns, but I am sure you can get them on Amazon too. I would maybe do a search for "Plastic Squeeze Bottle" - I think mine is about 2 or 4oz (it is a total of about 5" tall) - good luck :)

I have been using the Pentel ones mostly since doing this review and I can agree that I do love them, they do tend to keep their shape longer.
Never seen these before... nice idea1
Yeah, super convenient for out and about :)

Where did you get the tray for the water cloth?
It is just a $2 ceramic tray from Daiso, I got it in the bathroom isle 🙂
@@jannahlyon thanks
