Loved R&K fountain pen inks for writing, but haven't tried their sketching inks yet. Watched your videos makes me want to get a complete set of these inks, so I can mix my own colors :-)

Oh yay! Wood Wonders of NC Frenchie model was my very first hand turned pen. It has done so well and I have put many different inks in it. Yours is so pretty! Love the ink choice also.

Beautiful. After 4 days drying , did you start with a wet brush and touched the dry paint OR did you pour few drops of water inside the paint from top?

You could also reserve the back pockets (if you're getting this to travel with colored pencils) for pencils that aren't new and aren't quite so long. But i do wish it was slightly longer.

Wow. This was an excellent tutorial!! This is my second time researching binders in the last 9 months or so, and by far the best! First tried for gilding, so I had everything but the clove oil. Gotta try, as I've been wanting to make paints from Let's Resin Mica Powders. Tyvm for sharing your expertise. The world is a better place having generous souls in it such as yourself! 🎉

Did you notice this calligraphy ink wasn’t as opaque as the others? I tired to use it on black paper and it didn’t show up 😢

I came here as I just received my Sailor pen. I find that it only bleeds a bit with watercolour paper but not normal art sketchbook paper. I love it.

Im trying to find something longer to carry more. Open to suggestions otherwise ill have to make my own.

If I had not already ordered an Estie myself, this video would have sold me. I have to wait to order the journaler nib because they are out of stock at the moment but I will have one and the is on my wish list for next year. Thanks for sharing.

Your video is awesome , now i understand which colors to mix to get nice colors or more muddy colors ! I bought the Daniel Smith Set, and their secundary trio with a nice orange, green and violet! So my painting world is open !

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the precision in the amount of the ingredients. I've seen other recipes which were a lot more "a dash of this and a few swigs of that" which isn't very helpful for a newbie (or a one-time chemistry major like me!). Can't wait to try this out.
