Silly question, but do you make temporary tattoos out of your art? The dashed line work and the shade of brown you chose reminds me of when I would connect the freckles on my arms to make art.

Wipe the surface with a cleaner like isopropyl alcohol or stg and don’t touch the sticker where the frog is…will adhere much better.

I just got one (Hoping it would be a more budget friendly alternative to the Sendak)! It’s still new so maybe it needs to break in a little more to get everything in. I am excited to take it out and really give it a go. Initial thoughts are I agree that the back pockets are of minimal use if using the elastic straps in front of that section. I wish it was just a smidge taller to fit pencils more comfortably. I also was disappointed that my small sketchbook doesn’t fit in the pockets. But I’m not sure if it would in the Sendak either. Overall, happy that it was more budget achievable for me and I do love the brown and marigold inside color!

I was curious about this one for arting in the wild!

Interesting. I might try one of these. My Lamy Safari does not work well at all. Inconsistent flow. Very disappointing Perhaps this one will be better.

And I’m back 😂 ok so I’ve fallen down the Mixing-BPC-Inks rabbit hole and I’ve noticed something regarding the dilution solution. (I realize this video is old and things might have changed since, and also you likely know most of this already, but) I’ve been reading through the ink recipes that they have on each ink’s (that’s mixed from their Atominks element line) page. I noticed that the Phoenix colour (which is a yellow that shades a bit to orange) the recipe is marked as “1 part tiger lily + 3 parts dilution solution” so that seems like pretty explicit authorization to put a much larger ratio than 30%! A little odd that they say to only mix in 30% solution but provide us with recipes that include 75% solution 😅

Bought a D110 a few days ago. Affordable little thing, but very useful.

Such a gorgeous colour. The shimmer looks like sunlight on water. I really enjoy FWP but I find their bottles functionally challenging. Doesn’t stop me from collecting them though. 😊
