    Nice s2k, but that splitter isn't functional at all with those gaps, Also the large holes you drilled at the bottom for the bolts will affect wind turbulence. If this is just for looks I guess it's okay but it's definitely not functional. You could try filling in the gaps with weather stripping to make it a little more functional.

    I’m like 15 mins from piedmont plastics in Raleigh. I looked online and couldn’t browse their inventory. Is there a storefront?

      I'm not sure, I just called them asked for prices on 1/4" black ABS.

    I really like your weather strip for the lip. What brand/product did you use?
    It isn't OEM thing, but it gives it that Manga art type of feel

      Can't remember, but it was some trim used for fender flares. I ended up switching it out to an oem Honda rubber trim because it was much thinner.

      Can't remember exactly but I did get them at home depot in the hardware section.

    what is that grey material between the lip and the bumper? Does it prevent the lip from scratching the bumper?

      Yeah helps prevent scratches.

      It's a rubber trim used between fender flares. Can't remember the exact one I used but it was something like this.

      @@thatredcam too flexible, not strong enough to create any amount of down force or even hold up to the air resistance driving at even a relatively high speed. For reference, most people use 1/2" plywood if they're making a cheap splitter. Look at how much this stuff flexes when he lifts it up in the beginning of the video, it's just not enough from the start.

      @@paulyzee Nice, I used to have a yellow AP2 a couple of years ago. I loved it. I saw your video because I was looking for ideas to protect the front lip on my vette and realized that you’re in Charlotte. Long story short, I went and bought a 4’ x 8’ sheet of 1/4 inch ABS from Piedmont Plastics. Lol

    I think you should take it off, and get rid of your friends at the same time because real friends wouldn't let friends do this to an s2000..

    That space is going to cause a lo of issues, you've effectively negated the splitter. It doesn't look sturdy at all.
