The sad thing is that they tend to blame the actors for the failures of the director, so if a movie doesn't do well, then the actors and actresses can suffer as a consequence. People aren't hitting them up to be in their films, because they don't want to lose money too.
There’s a good movie here hiding underneath the bad stuff. A movie about the importance of family. And mister freeze is the perfect villain for that story. If they had cut bane, poison ivy, and some of the more silly moments out this movie could’ve been one of the best batman movies.

Yeah, Batman & Robin pretty much killed her career. She had starred in a bunch of bombs even before that, but B&R was the finishing blow that ended her stardom. She's still working, but she hasn't been a big name in Hollywood since then.

I can really see why I liked this movie as a kid. It’s a really well made kids film and has just the right amount of touch of Adam west’s Batman. It was disappointing to learn that all the man children hated this film.
I think Batman Forever pulled off the camp vibe a bit better
